LET THE SPIRIT CONVICT

Today’s #Snippet

Scripture Anchor:

“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” John 16:8 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

We are witnesses, not the Holy Ghost. There is a freedom that comes when Believers understand their assignment as being; to We proclaim truth,  share the Gospel, answer questions,  testify, pray, and model Christ,

We cannot force another human heart into repentance. Jesus Christ said the Holy Spirit would reprove the world of sin: Conviction is His work.

Sometimes our frustration in evangelism comes because we try to perform His part; we pressure, argue, repeat ourselves, push beyond wisdom, and then become offended when someone does not respond immediately.

However, salvation is not produced by human pressure. As scripture states, although one plants, and another waters, it is ultimately God who gives the increase.

That does not make us passive, but faithful.

Speak when God gives the opportunity, speak clearly, speak truthfully. Then allow the Holy Spirit room to work in places your words cannot reach.

Just as there are seeds that germinate quietly, there are conversations that would return to a person’s mind years later. Prayers are working where you cannot see them.

Your responsibility is faithfulness, and the heart belongs to God.

Ponder This:

Have I been trying to produce in someone what only the Holy Spirit can accomplish?

Declaration:

·         I will faithfully witness and trust the Holy Spirit to convict, draw, and work within human hearts.

·         I release the pressure to manufacture results.

#PrayerOfAgreement

Father, thank You for teaching me  how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in soul winning.

With Your wisdom at work in me, I am emboldened  to speak and know when I have said enough. Deliver me from manipulation, pressure, frustration, and pride. Let the Word I share become seed in   receptive hearts;  convict, draw, illuminate, and bring people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

Hephzibah Christly
