ACCEPT YOUR HUMANITY

Today’s #Snippet

Scripture Anchor:

“For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”  Psalm 103:14 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

You can be deeply committed to God and still have limitations. God knows our frame; He knows we need sleep, our concentration has limits, He bodies age, grief affects us, prolonged pressure can exhaust us, and that we sometimes need time to process.

He also knows we cannot be everywhere, we do not know everything, and He remembers that we are dust.

God is more realistic about our humanity than we are. Most times, we become frustrated with ourselves for needing rest, forgetting something, taking longer than expected, not having the energy we once had, needing assistance, and having to say, “I cannot do that today.”

It is important to know that human limitation is not the same as spiritual failure, but of course, we should not turn limitation into an excuse for laziness, irresponsibility, or refusal to grow.

But neither should we demand omnipotence from ourselves; only God is unlimited. You are not,  and you were never expected to be.

Humility includes accepting that truth.

Ponder This:

Where am I condemning myself simply for being human?

Declaration:

·         I will pursue faithfulness without demanding perfection from myself.

·         I acknowledge my limitations and depend upon the unlimited grace and strength of God.

#PrayerOfAgreement

Father, thank You that You know my frame.

Teach me to distinguish genuine limitation from excuses. Strengthen me where I need discipline, help me grow into maturity, and help me to accept my humanity without self-condemnation.

I refuse both laziness and unrealistic expectations, and I receive grace to live faithfully within the life You have entrusted to me. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

Hephzibah Christly
