Scripture Anchor

“Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha… this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.” Acts 9:36 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

A faithful life should leave more than memories. When Tabitha died, people did not gather merely to describe what a wonderful person she had been. They brought evidence:

 Garments she had made, and things her hands had produced for people who needed them. Her compassion had become tangible.

There is something worth considering here as we approach the end of this quarter.

■ What are we leaving behind?

Not possessions alone.

●Wisdom?

●Teaching?

●Character?

● People strengthened?

● Children grounded?

● Someone encouraged to continue?

● Problems solved?

● Systems improved?

● Truth preserved?

● Prayers prayed?

You should aspire to complete your work properly enough, so that someone else can build upon it.

Your purpose in life  becomes a legacy when today’s faithfulness remains useful tomorrow.

We do not need monuments, We need fruit.

Ponder This:

Is my present obedience creating what could remain useful beyond today?

Declaration:

My life will produce lasting fruit. And all that God accomplishes through me will strengthen others and honor Christ.

Prayer of Agreement:

Father, teach me to invest my life in what has lasting value, and let my words, service, work, relationships, and obedience leave useful fruit.

Keep me from pursuing recognition that fades.I ask that my life becomes a blessing that continues speaking after the moment has passed. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.
