Scripture Anchor

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10 KJV

The past three months we focused on refinement. Here comes a necessary question:

What survived?

● Your convictions, did they survive when they became inconvenient? 

● Your faith, did it survive unanswered questions? 

● Your integrity, did it survive opportunity?

● What about your love; did it survive disappointment? 

● Did your discipline survive the loss of enthusiasm? 

● And did your obedience survive when doing what was right cost you something?

Your response to these questions is important because refinement is not merely about what gets removed,  it also reveals what remains.

Did you discover something encouraging about yourself?

● Did you stop reacting the way you once would have?

● Did you  resist temptation and walk away from something you once could not resist?

● Did you maintain your integrity by  keeping your word when breaking it would have been easier?

● Did you choose not to compromise when it would have been beneficial to do?

● And did you recover from disappointing circumstances without abandoning God?

These things may seem small, but they are great achievements.

 If you worked at them this season,  you have made great strides with evidence.

Furthermore, be sure to correct what pressure revealed that still needs attention, don’t hide it away. 

The purpose of the refinement is not to prove  perfection but to help us  truthfully identify where we are.

Remember: 

Refinement is not proved by what you went through. It is revealed by what has become established in you.

Warfare Prayer:

Father, thank You for the work of grace that has become established in my life.

Thank You as well for all that  You have removed, corrected, strengthened, and developed.

I refuse to exaggerate my maturity or minimize my growth. I give You the glory that I have become stronger in faith. And I submit all areas where weakness remains, for Your continued work.

Father, everything You have established in me will endure, mature, and produce fruit worthy of Your calling. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.
