Father God thank You for helping me refocus on things that add value to my life and not drain it. 

I refuse to be distracted by this season’s busyness.

I move forward into this new season with heightened awareness that faith in you is the source of my joy, strength, promotion and life. So help me God, in Jesus Christ’s matchless name.  Amein.

Day 1 – Annual Prayer: Rest and Renewal 

Happy New month dear friend. Today, I embark on my annual 40 days of spiritual-self care time – December 1-January 9. 

It’s usually a time for sober reflections, which involves prayer, fasting-off certain things, intense Bible study and journaling. 

Which allows me space to review the past thankfully, then prayerfully set and spiritually implement goals for the incoming year. 

Do you know that the spiritual precedes the physical?
