Standing With Those Facing Difficult Choices
SCRIPTURE ANCHOR
“Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.” Proverbs 20:18 KJV
TODAY’S FOCUS
Some prayer requests eventually arrive at a decision.
Do I accept the opportunity?
Do we relocate?
What is best for this family?
Which responsibility takes priority?
Do I continue, change direction, wait, or bring something to an end?
Difficult decisions become even harder when emotions, deadlines, finances, relationships, and consequences are involved.
Today, we stand with those who need more than an answer.
They need wisdom to make a responsible decision.
TODAY’S PRAYER FOCUS
1). For clarity: Pray that facts, motives, risks, responsibilities, and consequences will be seen accurately.
2). For wise counsel: Pray for trustworthy people who will speak truth rather than merely confirm what someone wants to hear.
3). For freedom from pressure: Pray against decisions driven primarily by fear, desperation, manipulation, impatience, or emotional exhaustion.
4). For courage: Pray for strength to act responsibly once the right course becomes clear.
JOIN TODAY’S PRAYER WATCH
If you are facing a decision, you do not need to disclose the details.
Simply write:
“Please pray for wisdom.”
When you see those words, don’t ask the person publicly what the decision is.
Just pray.
PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
Abba Father,
We stand with those facing difficult decisions.
Give them clarity concerning what is true, wisdom concerning what is best, and discernment concerning what must be refused.
Send trustworthy counsel and expose unhealthy pressure or manipulation.
Where the right course becomes clear, give courage to act responsibly.
Order their steps according to Your will.
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.
WATCHMAN’S DECLARATION
● I will not allow fear, pressure, or impatience to make my decisions for me.
● I will seek God, consider wise counsel, examine what is true, and accept responsibility for the choices I make.
SWATS PRAYER CHALLENGE
1). Pray for someone facing a consequential decision.
2). If you need counsel, seek someone trustworthy not merely someone who will agree with you.
3) Refuse unnecessary pressure to decide before you have considered the matter wisely.
PONDER THIS
Wisdom does not remove every difficult choice. It enables us to make difficult choices without surrendering our judgment to fear.
