Scripture Anchor:
2 Kings 3:16–17
God instructed action before explanation. The people were told to prepare space for what they could not yet see. Obedience came first and understanding followed later.
Divine intervention often requires preparation that feels unreasonable at the time.
Does this resonate with you?
Faith digs ditches without guarantees, trusting that provision will come.

This is powerful.
2 Kings 3:16–17 really shows that obedience is not always logical before it is fruitful. Digging ditches in a dry valley must have felt pointless, even foolish yet the miracle came after the preparation. It reminds us that God sometimes asks for faith in action before giving visible evidence.
“Faith digs ditches” that line stands out deeply. It speaks of trust that works, not just belief that waits. Preparation in the absence of signs is a true test of spiritual maturity.
Thank you for this reflection. It’s a reminder to keep preparing, even when the valley still looks dry. Shalom.
