Don’t be that person who exhibits false humility just for the approval of others, while hiding a heart that is full of pride. (See Colossians 2:23).

Let us be real. For as Christians,  we serve a real God who says in His Word:

“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.( Psalm 2:8 KJV)

The newer translations have the Word “heathen” as ‘Nations’

Can you even comprehend that God desires for us His children to intercede for the nations by identifying with them?

Our asking this year should be of Big Things, beyond our wildest imagination.

The earth and everything in it belongs to God and we who are Christian’s are heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ (See Psalm 24, John 1:12, Romans 8:17)

This year is not the time to selfishly focus on personal needs. Rather,  we should identify with those in nations where Christianity is outlawed, and intercede for them.

We should ask God to give us those nations for our inheritance so that His Kingdom in us will come to them (Luke 17:21, 24: 46-47).

Just adopt one nation this year, and keep on interceding for them.

Let Us Pray:

Father God, thank you for Your goodness which led us to repentance.

We ask also, that your goodness will lead to repentance, the peoples of Afghanistan,  Pakistan,  India, Bangladesh and  all the other nations where Christianity is not freely practiced. 

As your Oracle,  I come against all the evil spirits influencing war, rape,  enslavement of women, anti Christianity, pedophilia, child marriages, satanism, occultism, false religion, caste system, religion, witchcraft, idolatry, divination, sorcery. poverty, and their relatives, and reassign them all to the feet of Jesus Christ. 

For this cause the Son of God manifested, to destroy the works of the devil, therefore, all rebelliousness, evil heartedness, disobedience and sinful inclinations are to self-destruct at once.

We release a deep hunger and thirst for the Only True God and His Word, to saturate the lands,  just as water covers the seas.

We proclaim liberty of worship for the peoples.

And in unity of faith, we command to disintegrate all evil laws and decree that hindered the people from freely worshipping  the Only True and Living God.

We ask Father God that the evil administrations be  ? removed, and replaced with those who will rule in righteousness.

Thank you for filling our hearts with joy and our mouths with laughter, in this new year: For we rest in the knowledge that You, our Father, will cause all things to work together for our good, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Our 40 days of fasting, prayers, and specified Bible reading ends on January 9th.

Tomorrow, reading and meditation will be from Psalm 3.
