Scripture Anchor
“Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.” Lamentations 5:21 KJV
TODAY’S FOCUS
Before we ask God to transform nations, we must remain willing for Him to transform us.
The Church can be active yet spiritually weary, visible yet distracted, doctrinally informed yet lacking intimacy with Christ.
Programs, platforms, activities, and influence can never substitute for a people whose hearts are wholly surrendered to God.
Today, we are standing in the gap for the Body of Christ, not to condem her weaknesses, but to intercede for her renewal.
Our prayer is simple:
Father. turn our hearts toward You again.
🙏 TODAY’S PRAYER FOCUS
🙏 Return to Christ:
Pray that Jesus Christ will remain the center of our preaching, worship, discipleship, service, and personal devotion.
🙏 Renewed hunger:
Pray for a fresh appetite for Scripture, prayer, holiness, and communion with God.
🙏 Repentance and cleansing:
Pray that compromise, pride, hypocrisy, competition, bitterness, and hidden sin will be confronted with humility and genuine repentance.
🙏 Strengthened leadership:
Pray for pastors, ministry leaders, missionaries, intercessors, teachers, and those carrying Kingdom responsibilities especially those serving faithfully without recognition.
🙏 Kingdom witness:
Pray that the Church will demonstrate the character of Christ through truth, love, integrity, compassion, courage, and holy living.
🤝 JOIN TODAY’S PRAYER WATCH
Today, rather than beginning with what is wrong with the Church, let us begin with ourselves.
1. Ask:
“Lord, what needs renewing in me?”
2. If you are joining today’s Watch, you may simply write:
3. “Lord, renew us again.”
Then pray for a local congregation, pastor, ministry, missionary, or Christian leader God places upon your heart.
OUR PRAYER
Abba Father,
We thank You for purchasing the Church with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Today, we come as members of one Body.
to intercede for her.
● We have become distracted, refocus us.
● We have substituted activity for intimacy, draw us back into Your presence.
● Success has become more important than faithfulness, correct our priorities.
● Pride, competition, offense, division, or ambition has entered among us, bring us to repentance.
● Purify our motives.
● Restore integrity to our witness.
● Fill us again with a deep hunger for Your Word and a genuine desire for prayer.
● Strengthen pastors and ministry leaders who are weary.
● Encourage those serving faithfully in obscurity.
●Restore those who have become discouraged in Kingdom service.
● Give wisdom to those carrying difficult responsibilities and courage to those who must stand for truth when compromise would be easier.
●Father, protect Your Church from deception. ●Help us with discernment without suspicion, conviction without cruelty, boldness without arrogance, and compassion without compromise.
●Teach us again to love one another.
●Let our lives demonstrate the Gospel we proclaim.
●And where the fire upon our personal altars has grown dim, rekindle it .
●Turn us unto You, O Lord:
●Renew our devotion, our obedience, our fellowship, and our love for Jesus Christ.
● Send us into our communities as faithful representatives of Your Kingdom who carry truth, healing, hope, reconciliation, and the message of salvation.
●Let Christ be seen in His Church again.
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.
