“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…”  Luke 16:10 KJV

We often prepare ourselves for the big test. But what about the ordinary days when nothing exciting is happening; No crisis, no applause, no urgent reason to pray harder and nobody checking whether you did what you said you would do?

Some of the strongest evidence of spiritual maturity is found in what we do consistently.

■ Do you keep your word

■ Do you pray when there is no emergency?

■ Do you maintain your standards when nobody is watching?

■ Do you finish what you start?

■ Do you still do well what has become familiar?

Faithfulness is not glamorous. That is probably why it reveals so much about us. Anyone can be enthusiastic at the beginning, but consistency continues after the excitement disappears. 

Do you despise the ordinary places where God is developing you? And how you handle the little things already says a lot about how you will handle more.

Remember: What you repeatedly do reveals what has actually become established in you.

Warfare Prayer

Father, thank You for every ordinary opportunity You give me to practice faithfulness.

I am delivered from inconsistency, carelessness, and dependence on feelings to do what is right.

I declare that I will be faithful in little and much, disciplined in private and dependable in responsibility.

My obedience will not require an audience.

In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.
