AWESOME GOD (22) Diligence attract Fame,

Greetings.

Working diligently involves being a hard and careful worker.

It is unfortunate that some employees who are Christian forget about some of  the Christian work ethics that says,

a). “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might” (Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV).

b) “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” Colossians 3:23 KJV.

When you follow these work ethics,  your gifts will take you places, and those mean and wicked people can not dehumanize you.

 Soul Searchlight:

Perchance, you are working with an abuser or narcissist, and you think this is your lot in life:

That is the lie of the devil.

You do not have to put up with it.

However, as much as it is within your power,  you need to have a discussion with your abusive boss, and let him/her know that you are not fine with their words and actions.

This is based on the Biblical Principle for Conflict Resolution in Matthew 18:15-17.

It is for your benefit to express your feelings rather than to hold them in, and implode.

Going forward,  never allow another human being to dehumanize you because of a paycheck. You life does not consist in the abundance of what you own.

When you internalize the TRUTH that God is your Shepherd and that you shall not lack any good thing, you will have your employment in the right perspective:

You will no longer think that your job is the Source of your sustenance. And you will know in your heart that it is just a link in God’s supply channel to you.

Therefore, you will be confident in yourself, and you will no longer be the prey of workplace abusers or narcissists.

Always remember that before you started that employment, your bills were paid. And after it, your bills will be paid.

Changing jobs does not denote instability,  it points to self-awareness.

Although persecution is one of the benefits of Christianity, Christ told us His disciples that, “when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another…”(Matthew 10:23 KJV)

This principle also applies to job changes due to persecution. Apply wisdom.

Refuse to be victimized.

Read 1 John 4:4 & 5:4.

As you rebuild your spiritual self-esteem, your personality will change to reflect your faith in God.

As soon as you start a new employment, you should be determined to be diligent, knowing that your work ethics will result in fame.

Going forward, pray earnestly not to work with mean and wicked persons ever again, in Jesus’s name.

Part 2:

And if as a Christian employer, you do not appreciate diligence and you demean others with your abusive and narcissistic behaviors, you need to repent and renew your mind.

There is no medication for narcissistic behaviors other than psychotherapy or Christian counseling.

You have the choice of counseling and commitment  to church attendance.

Most Christian abusers and narcissists are unchurched.

I know this because,  if a person is churched and under the authority of a pastor, pride will give way to humility.

The love of God will be a constraining factor, and the desire to please God will become a strong desire.

Abusers and narcissists are self-centered. It’s all about I, Me, Myself! They don’t know or care how they hurt others.

It’s a psychological defect. It’s not anything you the employer did, nor can you fix it with your good behavior.

If the Christian employer allows the cares of this world to frustrate their relationship with God,  and thus become abusive and narcissistic,  they will become famous in a negative manner, and their victims will bring a charge against them to the Almighty God.

And they will suffer the consequences of their meanness and wickedness.

Whether you are an employee or employer, remember Whose child you are and who you are.

Refuse to be that  mean and wicked person, and refuse to allow mean and wicked persons to continue to victimize you. Move on!

Let Us Pray.

ABBA Father,  thank you for your tender mercies, and loving kindness.

We acknowledge that we allowed fear of the unknown to frustrate our faith in you.

We receive forgiveness of sins from laziness, abuse, narcissism, wickedness, meanness, anger, frustration and hopelessness.

Thank you God, for cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

As we go ahead into a new season, we ask for more grace so that we can be diligent in work,  Christian ministry, prayer, fasting, church attendance, Bible Study, giving, and doing good deeds.

Thank you Father for being a rewarder of diligence.

We’d ask O God that you work within us so that we shall become more humane with employees, and be an effective representative of your grace, favors and kindness, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

We declare that from today, we disable everything that places us under mean and wicked employers or bosses.

Shalom from Hephzibah Christly, Ph.D., #TheSpiritualWarrior, December 22nd, 2024.
