A 30days of Intercession: Day 23: Prayer Goals: Excel in my Divine Purpose.

  • To the Bible:

““You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14‭, ‬16 AMP)

  • Introduction:

A long time ago, I got tired of recycling avoidable mistakes and relearning hard lessons. It did not make room for progress. 

I was stuck in a bad place, with a bad heart attitude, even though I was born again, and a minister!

So I cried out to God for help. Then the Holy Spirit dropped it in my Spirit to pray thus ‘”ABBA, make it impossible for me to disobey you, and to be yielded to your will alone”

Well, if you need a scripture base for that Prayer, look up the story of Balaam, the mercenary prophet in the Bible. (Read Numbers chapters 22 to 24)

For the records: the only similarity between Balaam and me back then, was the domination of self-will. 

I was headstrong and did things my way- I did whatever seemed right, and neglected the will of God. Which was detrimental for me and the fulfillment of my Divine purpose.

The more resistant I was to the Divine will, the more I suffered frustrating circumstances. 

And the circle of disobedience – discipline – suffering – repentance – restòration – disobedience;  continued. It was so frustrating.

You do not make progress when you keep going in circles.  

We learn obedience by what we suffer. (Read Hebrews 5:8) But for some people, the lessons are short-lived. (Read the Bible book of Judges for a clearer understanding)

I had to learn the lessons of obedience and willingness to submit to the will of God, in order to go forward.  

God is a patient and perfect teacher.  And until you learn the  lessons, you don’t go to the next assignments or levels. He may change the location of tte classroom and the visual-teaching aids, but the subject matters are the same.

Moses is a case study: 

For 40 years he was in training in the palace of Pharaoh (Read Acts 7:22) He lived like a prince and had an ideal environment for learning. However,  he flunked the test, and school changed to the desert of the Midianites for another 40 years. (Read Exodus 2:11-15)

You can learn from experience, precept or observation. Although I was having bad experiences, the lessons learned were short lived.  As soon as I repent and am restored,  the mistakes are repeated and the suffering continues worse than it was.

I really did not like how my life was going, but I could not get out of the quagmire of self-will. 

The more I tried to come out by my own efforts,  the more I was sucked into the quagmire.  

I needed help. In humility, having reached the end of myself, I cried out to God. And swiftly, the Holy Spirit rescued me from myself and gave me the Prayer point. “ABBA, make it impossible for me to disobey you, and to be yielded to your will alone”

I truly learned obedience and yieldedness to God through suffering.  However,  you do not need to suffer like me, you can learn obedience by precepts as well.

After I prayed that prayer, I followed up with in depth Bible research.  And persistently, I kept declaring – ” I have yielded to God and my will is submerged in His will, I am Spirit filled and Spirit led and my life glorifies God.”  

My life has never been the same again. I started enjoying unprecedented progress, superabundance and unlimited goodness. 

The Ministry which was burdensome and very challenging changed. It became more enjoyable and fulfilling, as it became easier to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Today’s prayer point is specially for you my Praying-Partners. 

I may not know where you are at, or what you are going through, but I do know that you need to stop going in circles so that you can fulfil your divine purpose. Let us pray.

  • #PrayerPoints4Today:
  1. Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit and His ministry of advocacy (counselor) in your life. Pray in tongues and just revel in His presence.
  1. Acknowledge your sins of stubbornness, disobedience, and self- centeredness,  and thank Him for the Blood of Jesus Christ that is speaking forgiveness, cleansing, restoration, and perfection for you.
  1. Thank God that limitations are neutralized, areas of weaknesses become strengths, and you are going ahead swiftly and precisely in the will of God.
  1. Thank God that in this season of Miraculous Interventions, you effortlessly execute His counsel, maximize opportunities and shine brightest in the world. 
  1. Lay hands on your head and speak over your life. Make powerful declarations and refuse to continue to recycle problems, failures, and redundancy. 
  1.  Affirm that you are the shining and burning light in your world and you are blazing trails in excellence, productivity, relevance, and  magnetism in bringing souls to Christ.
  1. Thank God for making you a visionary and financial missionary who not only sympathizes or empathizes with those having needs,  but actually renders physical support for their needs.
  1. Affirm that you are matching the Great Commission with Christ-Like Compassion as well as manifesting Christlikeness in worship, character, and Service.
  1. As an Intercessor,  use yourself as the contact point to reach as many as we are representing: that they are partakers with us in our prayers for today, in Christ matchless.

Thank you for joining us to intercede and to pray for yourself as well. The Bible says that “Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered” (Proverbs 11:25) therefore, you will always have people praying on your behalf, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

  • SALVATION PRAYER 

If you are not a born again child of God, Here is  salvation prayer for you to say out loudly.  “O Lord God “ I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. 

Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

Day 35: Intensive 40 days Prayer…

Day 35: Fire of Attraction & Anointing for Excellence.

  • Scripture Base: Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden”

(Matthew 5:14 AMP)

  • Introduction:

Greetings people of God. Enough of that negative self-talk that gives headache and attracts destruction.

No matter what you may be experiencing right now in your life, they are lying vanities! And those who observe lying vanities, forsake their own mercy. (Read Jonah 2:8) 

Hold fast to what the Word says about you. Although your afflictions may be many notwithstanding, God will deliver you from them all (Read Psalm 34:19) 

Never forget that God rescues the righteous from troubles.( read Proverbs 11:18, Jeremiah 15:21)

My Testimony of Rescue:

This concluding week of the 40 days Intensive Prayer, Fasting and Sharing sessions has been a great trial of faith.  

I slipped and fell again. It was a horrible experience. A few weeks ago at the beginning of the session, I slipped on water and fell down my flight of stairs, destroyed my phone, dislocated my shoulders and tried to have a positive outlook.

Well, during the last days of December 2021, I started healing from chest colds and nasal congestion.

 Thankfully I had my toddler twin grandsons and 2 other young grands visiting. So, I could not allow the sickness any liberty. 

Just when I thought I was going to have a quiet last week fully focused on my spiritual Exercises, ( the grands went back home)  I had that nasty fall and landed with a big bang on the floor of the bathroom, alone! But God….

Apart from bruises on my leg, I hit  that same shoulder again, and it got reset!  Prior, I could not lift my left arm. My daughter Debby gave a massage once, and I have been cleverly avoiding any more massages! The pain was excruciating. 

But after the fall, the pain ran away! 

Seems that the second fall was necessary to correct the problem of the first fall. Talk of Miraculous Interventions!

People of God, there is a need to not allow your present challenges distract you from your set goals! Challenges should charge you up!

Distraction is a common device satan uses. Do not be ignorant.  You are not the negative that you are experiencing. You are what God says you are.

You can actually change your circumstances or condition.

In Genesis, after God created the earth, satan’s rebellion caused it to become a dark-chaotic-mess. However,  God recreated the World with His Spoken Words. He said, ‘Let there be light, and there was light’ (Read Genesis 1& 2)

And the Bible says that as God is, so are we in this world. (Read 1John 4:17)  Everything you need for life and Godliness is in you as a partaker of the Divine nature. (Read 2Peter 1:4) You have the ability to recreate your world with Words. Let us do just that. 

Instead of lamenting the negatives, let us enforce the positives. Shalom!.

Let us make the following DECLARATIONS or Confessions.

  1. I am a city on the hilltop, attracting the right kind of attention, support and I am lighting up the world around me.
  1. I abound in all grace and have sufficiency in all things and am doing good works  that empowers and point’s folks to Christ.
  1. I am a success in life and a blessing to my world. Everything I need for life  and success comes to me effortlessly. 
  1. All the foul spirits assigned to enforce the satanic mandates to steal happiness, killjoys and destroy lives are hereby reassigned to the feet of Christ with all their relatives. 
  1. Everything that was hitherto attracting failures, problems, accidents, bad reports, rivalvy, vindictiveness, hard working-unproductiveness, accidents, disappointing and limiting circumstances; 

as well as disfavor, negative work evaluations, strange illnesses at the door of breakthrough and related negatives, are hereby destroyed by the manifested Christ! 

  1. I am liberated, delivered from the forces of evil and now dwell in the place of safety, success, excellence, victories, favor,  divine opportunities and excellent work ethics.
  1. People are attracted by the grace of God upon my life and willingly bring gifts to me and are supportive of all my efforts. 
  1. There is no lack of anything good to us. Grace and favor is working for us. 
  1. The anointing for effortless success is upon me. A little becomes a great company for the cloud that is full of rain empties upon me and mine: pouring blessings in all facets and aspects of our lives. 
  1. The end has come to impoverishment, painful hunger pangs, lacks and limitations and all related evils.
  1. I harvest where I did not labor, and enjoy the labors of others for God has converted all my haters to servants of my joy.
  1. I am a burning and shining light in the world and attracting many to the grace that is in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  1. Excellence and productivity is at work in me. Whatever and whoever connects with me prospers well, have good successes,  favorable reports and favorable support networks.
  1.  My ministries, business, investments and everything that connects to me receives the pulsating life of God for I am a life giving Spirit and the resurrection power is at work in me! Nothing good can die in my hand and nothing evil can thrive in or around me. Glory!
  1. Unlimited good, extraordinary goodwill, and supernatural favors, are magnetized by me. Hallelujah. 
  1. I.am a blessing to my world, leading many to Christ, supportive, mentoring, empowering ministries and folks economically, and to the glory and praises of God 
  1. Conclusions:Trust you made time to pray through.  Place your right hand on your head and prophesy over your life. Speak into existence your heart’s desires.   Pray some more in tongues (if you have the gift), worship with words or in the Spirit and thank God for His Miraculous Interventions in your health, finances, marriage goals, career, relationships, environment,  nation and city.
  1. Before you sign out, kindly Pray for us also for all our Internet Missionary Initiatives, birthed by the “Spiritual Warfare and Tactics Squad-SWATS” . We desire to be more relevant  in touching lives for Christ and to continue to fearlessly propagate the Gospel to everyone everywhere.
  •  Pray also for the SWATSTeam and their families . Let God be magnified in them with display of the miraculous in their lives.
  • Pray for more effectual doors for ministry to open for us- we need to cross physical boundaries without restraints and all adversaries should be frustrated. 
  • Kindly pray that my children -“Dee Dee, Debby, Michael, Bebeth, Raphael, Seyi, Segun, Favor; their spouses and my grandchildren” 

(a) will manifest divine health, greatness, wisdom of God,  and  excellence in all aspects and facets of life. (b) grace and favor will work for them always, © All who see my children and descendants  will acknowledge that they are the seed which the Lord blesses. (Isaiah 61:9)

Day 27: Intensive 40 days Prayer…

Day 27: Prayer Focus:  Missing & Lost Persons.

  • Scripture Base: Luke 15:1-31

“What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost, [searching] until he finds it?” (Luke 15:4 AMP)

  • Introduction:

Greetings dear Praying-Partners, Let us in unity of faith intercede for folks who are lost spiritually or missing physically.

The spiritually lost are those who have not accepted Christ Jesus as their Personal Savior. While the missing persons are those who may have run away from home, disconnected from family or kidnapped.

As a child, I remember how traumatized my mom was, when her eldest daughter was missing during the Nigerian civil war. She was never found and my mom was never the same and died quite young.

Parents, family or friends of missing persons can relate. They never stop grieving for the loss and are always hopeful about finding the person.

 It is easier to get over a dead relative than to get over a missing child or relative. 

Let us run to the battle to rescue both missing and lost persons. 

Our prayer points shall be in two parts. Shalom!.

  • #PrayerPoints4Today: 1 Missing Persons.
  1. Thank God for demonstrating His great love towards all Humans by sending Christ as payment for sins, even while we were still His enemy.
  1. Ask for a supernatural intervention that will bring closure to liberate both the missing and  their relatives. 
  1. Command to go at once with their relatives, to the feet of Christ Jesus, the evil spirits instigating kidnappers, stalkers, predators, pedophilia, stealing of children, and other related evils . 
  1. Command the earth, to vomit all human kidnappers, predators, sex offenders, stalkers, pedophiles, those who vanished because of child support payments etc.  There shall not be hiding places for them on this planet. 
  1. Release the grace of God to bring repentance to kidnappers, predators, stalkers, sex offenders, pedophiles, evaders of child support and other related evils.
  1. Decree that all the aforementioned either repent and restitute (release their victims) or be arrested, prosecuted and jailed.
  1. Proclaim that peace from God garrison the families and friends of missing persons. 
  1. Proclaim that all missing persons being held as sex slaves, trafficked captives, etc; should experience the supernatural manifestations of God’s  love and Omnipotence-by the shattering of all restraints: whether cages, bars or iron, gates of brass; located in underground tunnels or skyscrapers above; should break open by God’s  miraculous interventions and the captives set free and reunited with family and friends. Hallelujah! 
  1. Cry out to God saying. SAVE these people ABBA Father.  
  1. In accordance with Psalm 7:1-2, let us thank God for saving the weak and not allowing them to be devoured by these mean and wicked persons. 
  • #PrayerPoints4Today: Lost Persons
  1. In view of John 6 :44, Ask that the goodness of God draw that your lost family member (children, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren etc) as well as your friends, foes, colleagues, people in your neighborhood- your mall attendants, hairdressers, manicurist and all others who services you.
  2. Really intercede for the saving of their souls. Thank God for drawing them to Himself and delivered them from the forces of evil. 
  3. In view of Acts 2:47, thank God that His Word is growing mightily through you and that He is adding saved people to the Church Daily.
  • Conclusions:

Thank you for praying with us. It is an awesome privilege to be called  to the ministry of Intercession.

Your rich-reward manifests speedily, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Day 25: Intensive 40 days Prayer…

Day 25: Prayer Focus: Teenagers. 

  • Scripture Base: Proverbs 3:5-6.

“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].” (Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 AMP)

  • Introduction:

We shall pray today for adolescents or Teenagers – children between the ages of thirteen and nineteen.

 This is the age children desire to be independent of family, focus on friends, have anxiety issues, may suffer with depression, be bullied, do drugs, experiment with sex,  alcohol and even abuse drugs and alcohol.

If your Teenager is already displaying the mentioned issues, relax, what God cannot change does not exist. 

Let us prayerfully confront presenting or yet to present issues and steer the upcoming generation to the right pathways in Christ Jesus. 

  • #prayerPoints4Today: 
  1. Thank God for all teenagers, including yours and your teenage grandkids. 
  2. Spend time praying and singing both in tongues and in understanding.
  3. Using our Teenagers and Teenage grandchildren as points of contact to reach Teenagers in our world, we confess that the grace of God that brings salvation, healings, greatness, forgiveness, excellence,favor, longevity, love and fear of God, appears to them all.
  4. Identification-Repentance: Ask and receive forgiveness for all unconfessed/ acknowledged ancestral/bloodline sins speaking against us. 
  5.  Affirm that Christ has paid for all past, present and future sins.
  6. Affirm that sin no longer has dominion over our Teenagers.
  7. Affirm that our Teenagers are yoked to Christ and his light-burdens and therefore can never be yoked to ancestral evils nor perpetuate the sins of their forebears or ancestors.
  8. Command to go at once to the feet of Christ all the evil spirits aggravating teenage problems such as: Acceptance and trust issues, rejection syndrome, peer pressure, depression, anxiety, self harm, bullying, desensitization, sexual urges leading to sexual immorality, disrespect, lack of motivation and related evils.
  9. Proclaim that our Teenagers are freed from the evil effects of ingrained sinful behavior and reinforced learning bent towards evil.
  10. Command a stop and desensitization from the teen-culture of sex, drugs and violence. 
  11. Declare that our teenagers are completely cut off from dangerous sexual behavior, are respectful, upright, eschew evils, and do not suffer from any psychological maladjustments or perceived parental rejection and have the Spirit of excellence at work in them, 
  12. Proclaim that our teenagers have the wisdom of Christ at work in them and do not succumb to peer pressures for their trust is in the Lord and He has made their paths level and girded their feet with strength to walk over high places.
  13. Declare that our Teenagers are well adjusted, highly motivated, creative, innovative and confident to move forward upward which is their course in life.
  14. In unity of faith, we stand against bullies and bullying and declare the torment of fear over their Souls are destroyed. From henceforth fear is subdued and overcome and their faith in God grows. 
  15. Affirm that as the plantings of God and seeds of the righteous, our Teenagers and Teenage grandchildren are as bold as the lion, are not bullies nor can they be bullied for He that is in them is Greater than he that is the world.
  16. Regardless of the sources of depression, whether from social media, bullying, or dysfunctional family, I command depression to leave our children and grandchildren at once.
  17.  Affirm that they have right priorities, have understanding of the times, know what to do, when, where, and how to do it, for the wisdom of Christ is at work in them.
  18. Proclaim that our Teenagers or Teenage grandchildren are freed from anxiety and anxiety attacks:  for their trust is in God who having granted them the kingdom freely grants the desires of their hearts.
  19.  I stand with you to curse self-harm, drug usage, alcohol and substance abuse, and related evils.
  20. Declare that our Teenagers are spirit-filled and Spirit-led and blessed beyond curses, are strengthened in their innerman and resists the urge to explore drugs, alcohol, illegitimate sex and related evils. 
  21. Worship God and thank Him for confirming your word and performing your counsel for Teenagers, and declare that their lives will count for God and they shall excel among equals and walk worthy of their righteous heritage, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. 
  1. Conclusions:

Thank you for praying with us. It is an awesome privilege to be called  to the ministry of Intercession.

Day 17: Intensive 40 days Prayer. Theme: My Season for Miraculous Interventions.

Day 17: Prayer Focus: Sexual Purity.

Bible Base: 1Corinthians 6:13,19)

“…The body is not intended for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body [to save, sanctify, and raise it again because of the sacrifice of the cross]… Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? (1 Corinthians 6:13‭, ‬19 AMP).

  • Introduction:

Recently, someone sent me a video of two children about 5years old who were kissing very deeply. The school camera caught them.

It was very disturbing. It points to how morally decadent our societies have become.

There are 3 major factors that affect personality development- Heredity, Environment, and Situation.

Heredity: Sexual purity is easy to maintain in those whose ancestors weren’t sexually promiscuous. 

Children perpetuate the sinful habits of their parents in that they learn by imitating actions. Sinful behavior becomes ingrained and reinforced in following generations.Hence the rising instances of incest.

It is so sad to see how careless parents are, in leaving their teenage children of the opposite gender to share the same room. 

Is it that such parents are unaware of how progesterone  levels and hormones change  in puberty?

Hence the Bible says “Flee from youthful passions…”(Read 2Timithy 2:22).  

Although its normal for children to develop sexual urges in puberty, but because of satanic perversion and the influence from electronic devices, its worsening in children from sexually perverted ancestry.

Sexual sins in the family are well kept secrets- such as rape, pedophilia and incest. However, the consequences cannot stay hidden.

Example: The Davidic lineage was plagued with sexual immorality. In Genesis 38, Judah violated the covenantal immunity by marrying a strange woman. Which opened his bloodline to wickedness.

Divine justice was served by the death of 2 of his sons. However, the spirit influence of sexual immorality made him to unwittingly have sex with his daughter in law.

 A few generations later, the spirit of sexual immorality manifested in King David who started acquiring wives. Which further degenerated to murder in order to satisfy the illegitimate sexual desires.(Read 2 Samuel chapters 11, 12)

That same evil spirit that was running riot in the bloodline, demonized David’s nephew Jonadab who counseled Amnon to sexually violate his sister Tamar.(Read 2Samuel 13

David tried to cover it up by ignoring the incestous act of his son. But Absalom the brother of the sexually violated Tamar just had to revenge. Which gave room to anger, bitterness, shame, and murder.(Read 2Samuel 12:10; 13:28)

It degenerated further to betrayal by trusted aide (Ahitophel), rebellion and  public display of sexual promiscuity by Absalom ( Read 2Samuel 15, 16:21-23). 

And the full blown sexual escapades of King Solomon infamy in having 1000 sexual partners. (Read 1Kings 11:3)

Seriously ask yourself. Is this the kind of history I want to have in my bloodline?

Even though your ancestors may have pioneered evil in your family, you can pioneer a good heritage.

 That ancestral yoke is destroyed now: It ends with you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. 

Help your children maintain sexual purity and not leave them open to satanic manipulation to explore sex with each other.

Let sexual purity start from you- in your home.

Environment: With the way most nations, cartoonists, film producers, sports  and religious organizations etc. are pushing the gay agenda, pornography, child-sexual orientations in schools, and the commonality of elite-pedophilia, Sodom and Gomorrah was just the tip of the iceberg. 

Although sexual promiscuity and sexual immorality is gradually becoming the accepted norm in some society: remember Whose child you are! 

Even though you are in the world, you are not of this world. (Read John 15: 19, 17:16-18). 

Situation: Those who have no moral backing or who are not principled, bend to the dictates of the situation they are in.

However, if you are a born again child of God, you are called to live right. God has made you righteous and the ability to live right is already programmed into your new nature in Christ. (Read 2Corinthians 5:17-21, 2Peter 1:3)

Therefore, by virtue of your Divine nature,  you are no longer subject to sin or satan, and the factors of heredity, environment and situation should no longer affect your personality development.(Read Romans 6, Colossians1:13,)

Hence the Bible says that you should work out your salvation with godly reverence (Read Philippians 2:12)

Because, as a Christian, the onus is on you to live right by living your life in accordance with the Word of God: And not according to cartoonists, film producers, denominational doctrines or societal norms, etc., that satan and the forces of evil are using to  pervade the world systems. 

The Word of God warns us to not love the world or the things in it. Because whoever loves the world does not love God.(Read 1John 2:15-17)

The proof that you love God is in the keeping of His commands and they are not burdensome. (Read John 14;15, 1John 5:3)

If you love God, you will not sin against your body which is the temple of God, but will maintain sexual purity. (Read 1Corinthians 6:18-19)

  2. Thank God for His progressive revelations, the grace of forgiveness available to you in Christ Jesus.(Read Proverbs 28:13 & 1John 1:7-9)
  3. Identification-Repentance: It is important to know what God says about certain issues, the consequences and then to affirm what the Christ sacrifice achieved for you. (Read Daniel 9:3-19, Leviticus chapters 18; 20, Romans 8:2)
  4. Thank God for the Finished  Work of Christ and Declare that the end has come to the operations of the spirits of lusts in your body and bloodlines. 
  5. Command to go to the feet of Christ l with their evil relatives, all the evil spirits influencing or activating lusts in your bloodline, thought process, relationships, and everything else that pertains to or relates to you.
  6. Affirm that although all things are permissible to you, you refuse to be sexually immoral or accommodate it in your bloodlines.  

Call out the following manifesting evil spirits to leave your bloodlines and go at once to the feet of Christ with all their relatives- Such as:

Lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, premature death, marriage failure, single parenting, abortion, and prostitution;

As well as: the inability to marry, barrenness, infertility, lesbianism, incest, rape, pedophilia, pornography, wickedness, masturbation, bestiality, and homosexuality;

Including: all diseases of the reproductive system, promiscuity, child marriages, depression, mental health issues, domestic violence, impurity, sensuality, lack of self control, idolatry, etc (add whatever the Holy Spirit lays in your heart )

  1. Affirm that the grace of God that brings salvation, healings, deliverance, prosperity and restoration has appeared to every member of your family. And your bloodline is cleansed of every unrighteousness. 
  2. Proclaim blessings over your bloodline confess that excellence is at work in you and yours, marriages are happening, children are growing in grace and in the knowledge of God, sexual purity is maintained by all.  We are flourishing on every side because the grace of God is  abiding to us.
  3. Keep praying in tongues and pray also in the understanding and release blessings on yourself and yours.

Grace Abound(personal testimony)

These past months, I have been on auto-pilot. There were problems galore. But God… As one issue is about to end, another comes on. No breathing space at all.

Some strange health issues started manifesting. With the ongoing distrust  of medical practitioners,I had already decided to walk in Divine health/healing. No way would I go to any hospital and be a lab rat.

That being the case, I prayerfully confronted all health issues and healed perfectly.

In the midst of eliminating allergens, the Holy Spirit impressed me to spring-clean the home.

In the process, we discovered bats living inside the edges of our aluminium sliding windows. It was just horrible. 

Prior, we had been battling with droppings on the windowsill which we thought were that of geckos. (Ignorance indeed causes much suffering. The devil operates under the radar)

While all these dramas were ongoing, two of my adult children, who were facing adversities, had a breakthrough.

Although it was intensively costly, we successfully eliminated the bats and sealed all crevices. 

The same week that we were ridded of the bats, another two of my adult children had a near death experience. One had to have emergency surgery while the other was comatose.  

Both are back home, alive and well.

It was not by my power, or by my might. Nor was it because I was praying fervently for my children and doing righteous deeds. 

It was just by the Holy Spirit and the grace of God that abounded to me. God does not forsake His own.

 Even if we are unfaithful, God remains faithful. His faithfulness reaches to the skies and abounds to a thousand generations (See Psalm 119:90; Deuteronomy 7:9; Psalm 36:5)

Great is the faithfulness of God. Hallelujah!

I don’t know where you are at or what you are going through.  The grace and favor of God will continue to work for you, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Warfare Series: You can refuse to accommodate sickness in your Body/Soul.

“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” (Psalm 43:5)

You need to Superimpose God’s Word over your feelings/symptoms daily. Spiritual Warfare is ongoing because satan is an unrelenting foe.

My Personal Testimony:

Truly my Soul was in despair.  The future was looking so bleak as I kept reading how the vendors of evil were compelling gullible people to ‘self-destruct’ with the ‘vac-shot’.

 Sleep evaded me. And when I even slept, I would wake up hearing my heart pounding – my blood pressure went over the roof!  My throat was sore, I had a headache, and my nasal fluid was flowing freely. 

Although there was no cough and my temperature was good, my mind was trying to become a chaotic mess.

However I stood my ground against all these things by praying- I kept declaring God’s Word and commanding my Body to align with the Word of God. In addition, I increased my Daily Bible Readings, intake of ginger, garlic, turmeric, vit c; and drinking of warm water.

The battle was fierce.  But I prevailed!

The History and the Decision:

In my younger days, I was plagued with allergies which degenerated further. I was always hospitalized. The devil tried it’s worse to kill me but failed woefully when I came to the knowledge of my rights in Christ.

A longtime ago, I made the decision with myself that I will live in Divine health and seek Divine healing if I break health rules and fall sick.

Anyways, the forces of evil know that they are not allowed  to play their sick games with me. The Bible says, “The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.” (See Psalm 89:22)

My weapon of choice the Sword of the Spirit-which is the Word of God, and of which scripture says; “The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

As I kept declaring God’s Word over ‘Me’, every aspect of my Being was penetrated and forced to align with the Word  and healing manifested. Glooory! 

I am victorious!  I woke up a few days ago and the symptoms are all gone!

This can be you too: 

You can change a lot of things about you when you know the God you serve and refuse to grant satan further liberties to afflict your mind and body. 

Say NO to psychosomatic disorders.

The mind is the seat of the Soul.  Your thought life affects how your body functions. 

It helps to be  born again and feed on the Word of God, because your Spirit will be empowered to control your Soul and Body-sin and satan can longer dominate you.

 Below are two principles to help you stay well when you are born again-

 Subdue your flesh:

“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13, ESV)

Renew your mind:

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will…”(Romans See Romans 12:2)

Salvation Prayer:

If you want  to be Born Again and start a new life in Christ today, kindly say this prayer with all your heart and believe it:

“O Lord God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that You raised Him from the dead, & I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from today. By faith, right now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I receive eternal life into my spirit today.

Thank you God, I am born again now!”

CONGRATULATIONS  You are now a child of God and a Christian (follower of Christ).

A Heart Cry that Changed the Direction of my life.

“Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand” (Psalm 39:10)

Can you relate to this Prayer by the Psalmist? I remember how much I cried this Prayer from my heart. The problems were coming at me from every angle.   

I knew it was not the devil because I was delivered already from the domain of darkness and already a citizen in Christ kingdom.

So I cried out to God and asked Him to stop the blows.  I had no idea why He was flogging me so much. The sufferings  were intense. Relief was not insight at all. 

So I related with this Psalm 39 and prayed:

“Please dad kindly ease off a bit or you will just beat me to death, and the faith of many people will fail; because they will only see how I suffered and died wretched, but won’t see those hidden faults You are working on. So for your namesake, seeing that I am such a slow learner, please kindly help me understand. I’m tired of the blows already to the point of wishing for death”

Truly, the Prayer worked.  The problems assailing me stopped, and by God’s enabling grace, I heard the voice of the Spirit more clearly, made the necessary character adjustments, and my increase multiplied. 

Spiritual warfare is not always about evicting evil spirits. Spiritual Warfare also involves dialogue with God and character building.

The End of 2020,the Eventful Year of Purpose

Earlier in the year 2020, God spoke to me through Romans 8:28,

“…that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28)

I had no idea the coronavirus was going to become a trial of faith for us Christians, and that the scripture was going to be proven to be right, for so many Christians.

We survived the viruses,  the lockdown, the protests, the breakdown of law and order,  the crackdown and witch hunt, the harsh weather conditions  plus hostility of law enforcement officers, and so many other evils.

In the midst of all things, we not only survived, God preserved and prospered us. We have excelled and made great strides in life and ministry. 

While there was a pulling down in the world,  there was and still is a lifting up for God’s people.

 Indeed, God caused all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and who are ‘the called’ according to His purpose.

The same God who kept us safe, well and prosperous in 2020 is still God and God alone. He frustrates the token of liars, and turns the wisdom of their gurus to foolishness. He also disappoints the devices of the crafty so their enterprises fail. He returns the wickedness of the wicked upon them. 

Although the devil and evils exist, I refuse to grant them any liberties with me: for I know who I am, and in Whom I have believed.

Confidently, we move into 2021. Knowing that no matter the insidiousness of the devil through his evil spirits and human agents, “God pass dem’ as they would say in Nigeria. Meaning, they are no match for God.

2021 has been one of my best years so far because of God’s faithfulness.

Holdfast to God’s Word to you. Listen to the New Year’s declarations Ministers of God will make, and make it your own. Treat it as God’s personal Word to you. 

“Believe in the Lord your God; so shall ye be established. Believe His prophets; so shall ye prosper.”(2Chronicles 20:20)

Have you ever done something that could have exposed you to demonic possession?

Demonic possession is when demons take possession and are resident in the individual. An example is the mad man of the Gadarenes. (See Luke 8:26-39)

I have been exposed to demon oppression and not to demonic possession as you put it. My answer will bring clarity to the question.

I was born again, way back in 1967. When one is born again, the Holy Spirit of God takes up residence in the individual. A re-creation takes place.(See 2Corinthians 5:17)

Demons are bodiless foul spirits, who seek humans to inhabit.(See Matthew 12:43-45)

The Holy Spirit and the foul spirits cannot co-inhabit a person who is born again, because that individual is no longer under the jurisdiction of the forces of evil. (See 1Corinthians 3:16)

 As Bible says, God “…hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (See Colossians 1:13)

However, the newly born again individual has to go through the process of unlearning bad behaviours, while learning new ways of living as a Believer in Christ. 

During that process, the individual is likely to behave in a manner that can grant evil spirits (demons) access to demonize him/her.

 I said all that to say this:

Shortly after I was born again, my mom died. It was very traumatic for me. She fell ill through witchcraft projectiles, while I was away in boarding school.

Before she died, she wrote me a letter that chronicled all she was going through, as well as the names of those  responsible.

Both the letter and the news of her death arrived the same day. It was traumatic. All I could think of was revenge.

I wanted to avenge her death so badly that I sought help from  the occult world-

spiritualists, diviners, prophets of garment churches, etc. I had an aversion for shamans, I avoided those like the plague.

Before seeking these agents of darkness help with my cause, I talked to my pastor and my Christian friends. They all said, ‘forgive and move on’. That was so annoying.

I felt betrayed by the Christian community.

How can any rational person tell me about forgiveness, when i was hurting, angry, and wanted to murder everyone on the list my mom sent me? Besides, I had no knowledge of the doctrines of forgiveness, and I was a teenager.

I could have gone after these witches and wizards physically, but in that same letter, mom had asked me to please take care of my nine siblings.

My sense of responsibility kept me from going after them physically. So I sought to avenge my mom’s death, spiritually.

Even then, the spiritualists, false prophets, etc that I sought help from, all rejected me. They told me the fire surrounding me was too hot. I had no idea what they were talking about.

In fact, some of the satanists I went to pursued me. They accused me of coming to test their powers. According to them, they were no match for the Spirit they saw in me, and the spirits following me.

It was all so puzzling to me at that time. 

Not any more, for I am now aware that He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world. (See 1John 4:4) And that God has given His angels charge over me.

In my quest for revenge, I went into deeper studying of the occult world,  in order to occultly kill all those responsible for my mom’s death. I bought books by Lobsang Rampa in order to open the 3rd eye, etc.

Those thoughts and actions made me vulnerable to demonization. My heart attitude opened me up to demonic influences.

The demons, especially the familiar spirits, took advantage of the grief to influence me  to be angry and unforgiving. Which degenerated to bitterness and isolation from Godly counsellors.

Familiar spirits are evil spirits resident in families, crossing generational lines. They are familiar with the flaws, weakness, sinful habits etc, and reinforce them appropriately.

Those were dark years. 

However,  even though I was faithless, God remained faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. (See 2Timothy 2:13) His Holy Spirit did not depart from me, and so the demons could not take over my life.

Although the familiar spirits tried to use learned behavior and ingrained family characteristics to further the causes of satan; God’s faithfulness kept me from the edge of the precipice. 

There were certain things I could not do because the little Word of God that I knew, convinced me not to do it. 

Can you believe that I delved into kabbalah magic, Hinduism etc. and still kept on reading the Bible, especially the imprecatory Psalms. 

Eventually, God lovingly led me back to Him. The road to forgiveness and healing was a very long one for me.

The lessons I learned in occultism comes in handy when I minister to those under the influence of demons, and the demon possessed. Which is proof-positive that,’God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, those who are called according to His purpose.’ (See Romans 8:28)

I have since grown in my Christian walk. Now I counter evil with good and forgive without waiting for apology. I know who I am in Christ.
