#99 Prayer Focus for Today: First Responders & Firefighters:

A few days ago, there was a fire outbreak in our city. The fire is still on-going and the Firefighters are still there babysitting it, so that it doesn’t spread.  And this will continue for a few more days, until it burns out.

We are thankful that no deaths were recorded.

God bless, strengthen and keep all the Firefighters and first responders safe in Jesus’s name.

Additionally, the state of Arkansas is on fire risk alert.

Thank you for honoring our Prayer Request for rainfall.

Please join us to pray for the Firefighters, they are extraordinary persons. They need us to lift them up at this very trying season.

I know a Christian couple who are both Firefighters, they are now extremely busy putting out fires, and responding to medical emergencies as well.

Please pray for our Firefighters and First Responders- they render selfless service 🙏🏽

Bible Base: Hebrews 4:16:

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most” Hebrews 4:16 NLT.

#PrayerPoints4Today:

*Thank God for their skillful  handling of situations.

*Speak safety, protection, strength, and healings on them and their families.

*Pray that they will have a more meaningful relationship with God, through their experiences.

*Ask God to endue them with more skill so that they can function at optimum best.

*Pray for the families of those who died in the course of service: that God will comfort them and help them to process the griefs appropriately, and to also provide for them.

*Ask God to protect us from fire outbreaks, send us dews,  snow or rain, and to nullify the risks of fires in our land.

*Plead  the blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins and cleansings of all unrighteousness and defilement in our land.

*Be the prophet of your life,  speak blessings over your and yours, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

#87 Prayer Focus for Today: Overcome Hypocrisy.

In order to overcome or be delivered of something, it is important to understand what it is and how you can “work out your salvation” by working sin out of your system.

Bible Base: 1 Peter 2:1

“Put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander” 1 Peter 2:1 ESV

As I have explained before, Deliverance is an aspect of Spiritual Warfare, and it has two parts to it -God’s part and yours.

God’s part is done- “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, and has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and translated us to the Kingdom of the Son of His love” etc (Read John 3:16, Romans 5:8. Colossians 1:13)

Your Part is in “doing”, which involves continuing in the will of God, by getting rid of sinfulness, and presenting yourself daily as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God… Romans 12:1.

How?

*Do this in remembrance of me” Luke 22:19,

*“Put off … and put on -Ephesians 4:22-24. 1 Peter 1:14, 2:1.

*”Do not lie…-Colossians 3:9-10;

*”Stop being a slave to sin -Romans 6:6;

*”Walk in the spirit, live by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-18) etc.

Dear People of God,  it is important “to work out hypocrisy out of your system.

Characteristics of the hypocrite:

*The Hypocrite is one who practices double standards and preaches what they do not practice.

*Like Pharisees, they put up a facade in order to deceive.

Hypocrisy has become synonymous with ‘Pharaisism’.

*Pharisees are religious bigots. They are versed in scriptures, insist on strict adherence to the law, but violate the Law and spirit of the law. (See Matthew 23:27-28).

Hypocrisy or Pharaisism are contrary to God’s will.

Hence Jesus Christ called them out as white-washed tombs which are filled internally with decaying stuff but present a facade of piety!

*Hypocrites are ignorant of God’s righteousness. They do not submit to God’s righteous standards, but rather seek to establish their own righteousness (Read Matthew 23:27, Romans 10:3)

*Hypocrites preach publicly against sin, and secretly practice what they preach against.

*Judgmentalism is also an aspect of hypocrisy which involves judging others harshly without compassion and self examination

 (Read Matthew 7:3-5, Romans 2:2)

Hypocrites Practice spirituality in order to garner praise (Matthew 23:2-3,5-7,23-27; Luke 18:11, Acts 26:5).

You can Overcome Hypocrisy:

In order to overcome Hypocrisy,  we must strive for holiness (1 Peter 1:26), develop an allergy for what is evil, keep doing what is good ( Romans 12:9), and keep praying so that we do not enter into temptations.

As well as:

*Put Away malice, all forms of deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander, (1 Peter 2:1)

*Learn to be consistent, and truthful.

Be a person of integrity- walk the talk!

*Enjoy your liberty in Christ. But don’t use your freedom as a cover-up for evil, instead live as a servant of God, and remember that you are accountable to God (1 Peter 2:16, Romans 2:1-5)

Further studies to help you rearrange your life in order to walk the talk and not be hypocritical.

Matthew 6:1,2,5,16,24; 7:1-5, 15, 21-23;15:7-9; 22:18, 23:1-39: Mark 7:7; Romans 2:1,3, 1 Peter 2:1,16, James 1:26 ; Titus 1:16, 2 Timothy 3:5…

Let us Pray.

#PrayerPoints4Today

*Thank God for the enlightenment and deliverance that comes at the place of prayers.

*Admit how you have being hypocritical  in judgments, and resolve to be more compassionate in your dealings with others.

*Ask God to help you to grow in knowledge of Him, and to be more compassionate in confronting the perceived sinfulness of others.

*Command the evil spirits of hypocrisy, judgmentalism,  malice, envy, slander, religious bigotry,  pretense, falsehood, inconsideration, self righteousness and related evils, to depart from your world,  and go to the feet of Jesus Christ.

*Declare or affirm that the anointing of intercession is upon you,  so that, instead of judging others while pretending to be holy, you will self-evaluate, and earnestly intercede for others.

*Affirm  that your spirit, soul, and body, will be preserved blameless, till when Jesus Christ returns.

*Thank God for working in you,  both to will, and to do of His good pleasure,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

84 Prayer Focus for Today: Reproaches Turned Into Appreciation & Acceptance.

In Mark 5:25-34, is the story of the woman with an issue of blood. For 12 years, she was an outcast. She was ostracized in the society for a condition beyond her.

For 12 years, she experienced shame, rejection, and helplessness.

Her condition drove her to poverty as she pursued all possible cures!

She tried her best. She fought hard to overcome the condition that made her despised, maligned, and a byword in the community.

For 12 years, she was dying: her life was gradually draining out of her. For Life is in the Blood, as the Bible states.

For 12 years, she bore the inconvenience of something between her legs to collect the blood flow.

For 12 years, she was physically, mentally and emotionally traumatized.

Despite it all, she never gave up the desire to be healed and made whole!

But one day, it all changed.

She encountered Jesus Christ and her reproaches were rolled away, and she became the living witness of God’s miraculous healings and restoration.

#MyPrayer4you:

Today I pray for  you, and declare that your reproaches  are rolled away.

*This is the season of Divine visitation for you, and your circumstances will change miraculously.

*Those who treated you with contempt will become your praise- singers.

*Those who rejected you will be humbled and attracted to the glory of your rising, and their eyes will look up and have respect for God.

*Because God has favored you, the place of your shame becomes the place of your fame, for everything will turn around for good.

*I proclaim your victory over unrelenting issues, and declare that affliction will not return again, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Read and Personalize

Psalms 27:7-14 NLT:

“[7] Hear me as I pray, O Lord. Be merciful and answer me!

[8] My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

[9] Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!

[10] Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.

[11] Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

[12] Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence.

[13] Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

[14] Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”

#83 Prayer Focus for Today: Help &  Comfort.

Many are displaced, some are missing and confused,  and several are mourning the death of loved ones, due to wars and disasters.

Dealing with loss of any kind can be traumatic. Hence the Father of the Prodigal son was very happy when he was found, and the woman who found her lost coin rejoiced exceedingly.

The first thing to go away in a loss situation is joy. And with that goes strength as well. Then confusion and hopelessness takes over.

And if you are going through these traumatic experiences,  your place of peace and comfort can only be found at that place of prayers to God.

Only God can comfort, console, and help you make the necessary emotional adjustments, in order to cope with your losses.

Although we may not be near you to offer immediate help, just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

#MyPrayer4you:

My earnest heartfelt Prayer for you is that God will show up strong for you.

In unity of faith with the praying warriors, we rebuke the forces of evils and place a restraint order that restrict them from taking advantage of your vulnerability.

I release to you now the peace of God that surpasses understanding, and the enabling grace of God, to help you process this time of troubles appropriately, so that your progress will be swift, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Read and personalize the following verses from Psalm 86:3-8, 10, 13, 16-17 AMPC:

[3]  Be merciful and gracious to me, O Lord, for to You do I cry all the day.

[4]  Make me, Your servant, to rejoice, O Lord, for to You do I lift myself up.

[5]  For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.

[6]  Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and listen to the cry of my supplications.

[7]  In the day of my trouble I will call on You, for You will answer me.

[8]  There is none like unto You among the gods, O Lord, neither are their works like unto Yours.

[10]  For You are great and work wonders! You alone are God.

[13]  For great is Your mercy and loving-kindness toward me; and You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol [from the exceeding depths of affliction].

[16]  O turn to me and have mercy and be gracious to me; grant strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) to Your servant and save the son of Your handmaiden.

[17]  Show me a sign of [Your evident] goodwill and favor, that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame, because You, Lord, [will show Your approval of me when You] help and comfort me.”

#82 Prayer Focus for Today: Focus & Fearlessness.

With all the bad news going around, it is important to remain focused on God and not become fearful.

The Bible says in

Matthew 24:6 that, “you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6. AMPC.

Read and Apply Psalm 25 2-8

You can use the KJV, but I have used the AMPC for simplicity and clarity.

Affirm/Personalize  the scripture verses below:

[2]  O my God, I trust, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You. Let me not be put to shame or [my hope in You] be disappointed; let not my enemies triumph over me. [3]  Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed; let them be ashamed who forsake the right or deal treacherously without cause. [4]  Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. [5]  Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long. [6]  Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever from of old. [7]  Remember not the sins (the lapses and frailties) of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your mercy and steadfast love remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. [8]  Good and upright is the Lord; therefore will He instruct sinners in [His] way. Psalm 25:2-8 AMPC.

#MyPrayer4you:

I pray that your faith in God grows stronger, and that you will not allow the ongoing world crises destabilize you, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

#81 Prayer Focus for Today:

That God will hasten to aid you.

If you are at a dark place in life, I pray that God in His infinite mercy will hasten to help you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Read and appropriate the following Psalms :

1). Psalm 88:1-3, 6-9, 13-18 AMPC

[1]  O Lord, the God of my salvation, I have cried to You for help by day; at night I am in Your presence. [Luke 18:7.] [2]  Let my prayer come before You and really enter into Your presence; incline Your ear to my cry! [3]  For I am full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol (the place of the dead).

[6]  You have laid me in the depths of the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. [7]  Your wrath lies hard upon me, and You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! [Ps. 42:7.] [8]  You have put my [familiar] friends far from me; You have made me an abomination to them. I am shut up, and I cannot come forth. [9]  My eye grows dim because of sorrow and affliction. Lord, I have called daily on You; I have spread forth my hands to You.]?

[13]  But to You I cry, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer come to meet You. [14]  Lord, why do You cast me off? Why do You hide Your face from me? [Matt. 27:46.] [15]  I was afflicted and close to death from my youth up; while I suffer Your terrors I am distracted [I faint]. [16]  Your fierce wrath has swept over me; Your terrors have destroyed me. [17]  They surround me like a flood all day long; together they have closed in upon me. [18]  Lover and friend have You put far from me; my familiar friends are darkness and the grave.

2). Psalm 85:4-7 AMPC

[4]  Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease [forever]. [5]  Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger [and disfavor] and spread it out to all generations? [6]  Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? [7]  Show us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

#80 Prayer Focus for Today: The Lost & The backsliding.

Many are lost, and some have given up on God because of unbelief and frustrating circumstances.

Although it is the goodness/kindness of God  that leads to repentance, we have a responsibility to lead both the lost and the backsliding brethren to God.

These two categories of humans are everywhere- in your neighborhood,  work and recreation places,  hospitals, etc.

You do not need to Memorize your Bible from Genesis to Revelations,  but you need to remember how God came into your life and how HE has been helping you.

That’s all you need to point people to God,  initially.

Furthermore, you will need to also improve on your knowledge of God in order to deepen your relationship with Him, and touch more lives for Him.

And, it is absolutely important that you pray for the lost and the backsliding people, anytime you pray for yourself.

Let us Pray:

Father God,  thank you for loving us endlessly and dealing with us mercifully.

We affirm that You are the solution to the problems of the world and ask that your goodness  would lead those in our  neighborhood to repentance.

We also ask that you help those who are having a faith crisis to come back to you.

We stand against all the forces of darkness that are frustrating faith, relationships, healings, and finances.

We command them to backoff and go to the feet of Jesus Christ.

We release to these folks, a hunger and thirst for God and His Word, and the grace to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ.

We command all frustrating circumstances to be calm and for peace, progress, prosperity and the fear of God to commence.

Help your people O God.

Help those who are at a Crossroad to have a life changing encounter with you,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

#79 Prayer Focus for Today: Divine Refuge in the Time Of Troubles:

I can’t find the words with which to describe my feelings at the havoc Hurricane Helene wreaked.

The most touching account was about the community who did not insure their homes because of the rising insurance payments.  And now, their homes are leveled out!

Quo vadis? Where do we go from here?

What a double tragedy for them- no homes,  no insurance!

But is all lost? NO! God will surely show up strong for them.

For the LORD is merciful,  gracious, compassionate, and does not stay angry! Just as a great dad loves his children, so HE loves and cares for those who fear and worship Him. He knows how fragile we are, and will not allow us to be tempted beyond our capacity. See Psalm 103: 8-14.

My concern is not about God,  (He is faithful), but those who are affected by the disasters.

After experiencing a tornado, I know how long it takes to process the trauma!

Although God protected us through it,  and only a few shingles ran off with the winds, I was traumatized!

Even though I can’t even imagine what they are going through because  It’s so overwhelming, I know that God will always be there for them, during this season of troubles, as He was for us.

Please, let us Pray:

*Join me to pray that God comforts,  encourages and strengthens them as they start a life after the hurricane.

*Pray that hope will rise again in them, to press forward, and not give up.

*Pray that fear, ringing in the ear and premonitions of evil ceases from tormenting them.

*Speak healings to their minds and relationships, that instead of dissensions,  and frustrations, they will have peace of mind, peace with one another, be helpful, cooperative, understanding and hopeful.

*Ask God to send them help, as well as to touch families,  churches, and nonprofits to constructively reach out to all t

victims of disasters.

*Pray that during and after this trauma, they will bond strongly with God, find solace in Him, so that their minds and strength will be renewed, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

#78 Prayer Focus for Today: The People Affected by Disasters.

Dear People of God and Prayer-Partners. I had a night that was burdened with prayers for those who are affected by disasters.

Behind every natural disaster or catastrophe is God’s merciful intervention, to address unrepentant or repeated sinfulness, and reset the community.

God is the Monarch of the universe and the Righteous Judge of all the earth. And He does what He pleases in heaven, on earth, in the seas, and under the earth; and He releases the wind from the storehouses also:- Read Psalm 135:6-12, Psalm 24:1-2, 135:6, 2 Chronicles 20:6.

This may seem strange to the uninformed, but God always intervenes in world affairs (John 3:16) in order to stop the corrupting effects of evil in nations.

In Leviticus 26, we have been given written insight into how God deals with repeated disobedience, through increasing catastrophes, tragedies, calamities, or disasters.

Leviticus 26, from verses 14-39, contains the five-circles of Divine disciplines, while verses 40-45 shows how repentance brings restoration.

You may be thinking that Leviticus was for the Israelites of old,  but we are told in 1 Corinthians 10: 11 that these things happened to them as examples, and were written for our instructions…”

This is not a judgment call out on those who are experiencing disastrous circumstances,  but a “Call to Prayer” for all Christians on behalf of those who are or will experience disasters of any kind.

Let us Pray:

*Father God, if you were to judge humanity today without the Christ sacrifice, none will survive.

*We are thankful for the Blood of Jesus Christ that speaks better things for humanity.

And in accordance with your Word that says we should pray for one another (James 5:16),

*We your children come boldly to Your Throne of grace to obtain mercy for the peoples of our world who are currently being disciplined by natural disasters.

*We identify with all their sins that caused this Divine Reset.

*We acknowledge that we have rejected the knowledge of God, promoted sexual immorality, and raised altars for the worship of foreign gods on the lands that our pioneers dedicated to You the Most High God.

*You have done justly, but have mercy Father. Let your mercy prevail over judgment: see the Blood of Jesus and be moved in compassion to stop the surging waters of the storm,  minimize the damages it can cause, and work in the survivors of all disasters, to seek You, Father God.

*Release to them Father, evangelists and missionaries,  who will rightly divide the Word of Truth to them so that their hearts will be broken from sins.

* I present to you Father, everyone who have prayed this prayer, that they will be spared from disastrous circumstances, and luve a life worthy of emulating in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️ 🙏🏽.

God bless and keep you safe for alwalways, in Jesus name.

Please keep praying for them that this bitter experience will not be wasted,  but used to make them renew faith in God, and live changed lifestyles.
