Beloved,
We are living in a time when everything is changing so quickly, it’s almost disorienting. And in the midst of all this speed, doesn’t it seem like God is moving in slow motion?
Healings, breakthrough, restoration-these things often take forever in today’s hyper-fast world. Technology is so advanced that patience seems like an outdated virtue, something we’ve left behind with flip phones and dial-up internet.
We dream of a button that could instantly:
The list goes on and on-if only technology could fix it all.
Yet in the middle of this relentless rush, Scripture reminds us:
“We are to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” -Hebrews 6:12
So yes, beloved, despite technological leaps, patience is still very much trending in the Kingdom of God.
Patience is forbearance under suffering. It’s the quiet strength to endure adversity without folding like a paper straw in hot coffee.
The Greek word used in Hebrews 6:12 and James 5:10 is makrothymia-long-suffering.
a) “Through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12 KJV)
b) “…an example of suffering affliction, and of patience… Ye have heard of the patience of Job…” (James 5:10–11 KJV)
The patience of Job is legendary. Honestly, have you met you? A delayed prayer response and you’re already in the throne room, wailing, speaking in tongues, and launching spiritual missiles at imaginary demons.
But hey-but for the patience of God, right?
Did you know longsuffering is part of God’s nature?
“The riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering…” (Romans 2:4)
“The Lord is not slack… but is longsuffering to us-ward.” (2 Peter 3:9)
If God weren’t patient with us, we’d all be spiritual roadkill. Think about your life: rebellious teenage years, self-sabotaging choices, wild detours-and still, He waited.
But God.
His patience protected you from judgment, gave you room to grow, and offered time to choose the right path.
Yes, really. If you’ve committed to Jesus, then the divine nature (including God’s patience) is part of your spiritual DNA (2 Peter 1:4).
But spoiler alert: It’s not automatic.
Patience is developed. And guess how?
To suffer is to endure pain, betrayal, loss, damage. And yet… you’re still here. You’ve healed, grown stronger, learned lessons no textbook could ever teach.
You’ve cried. You’ve stumbled. But now? You’re someone who can show others the way. You know the road-the bumps, the traps, the curves.
That’s why you’re more of a blessing now because of what you’ve suffered. You’ve turned pain into power, and loss into wisdom.
Hallelujah!
The ability to convert pain into gain has been developed in you.

Pornography is one of the most silently destructive spiritual battles of our generation. With just one click or tap, we open doors the enemy loves to walk through.
And if you’re caught in that cycle- you’re not alone. But more importantly: you’re not stuck.
The Truth About Pornography– Porn often feel harmless. Its’s private, popular, and – let’s be honest-everywhere. But the truth is:
It distorts your view of intimacy.
It wounds your soul.
It opens the door to spiritual bondage.
What feels pleasurable for a moment leaves you with long-term-torment-shame, guilt, anxiety, and spiritual heaviness. Worse, it invites demonic influence, especially when indulged in repeatedly without repentance.
You can’t heal from what you are still hiding.
As Bible says, in Proverbs 28:13, “He who conceals his sin does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy”
Here’s how to start:
Delete all stored videos and images.
Uninstall apps and unsubscribe from explicit sites.
Destroy or burn all pornographic magazines or material.
Ask God for forgiveness-and believe He forgives you.
Breaking a stronghold means replacing it, not just removing it.
Replace screen time with Bible time.
Journal your thoughts and track your triggers.
Fill your day with life-giving content-not soul-depleting distractions.
You were never meant to fight alone. Find a local church group, or online Christian group where you can grow spiritually, be honest without shame, and be called higher.
When you isolate, temptations amplifies.
When you are surrounded, freedom multiplies.
Here’s where it shifts from struggle to warfare. Use the prayer below to begin your deliverance journey:
Father God. Thank You for your goodness that has led me to repentance. I acknowledge my sin-especially through pornography and other sexual compromise. I believe You’ve forgiven me, and I receive cleansing from all unrighteousness.
Today, I reject every agreement with the works of darkness. I renounce sexual addiction and declare I have self-control. As your righteousness in Christ, I command every spirit of lust, shame, perversion, and defilement to leave my life now- In the matchless name of Jesus Christ.
I break every generational tie with evil, and I speak healing over my bloodline. No more cycles. No more silence. No more shame.
I declare that I and my children walk in purity, wholeness, and victory. Our light shines, We are free. And we are a testimony of God’s power. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ- Amein.
If you Fall-Get Back Up This is key: Freedom doesn’t mean perfection. It means persistence.
If you slip, don’t stay down. Repent. Rest. Recommit. Every time you stand back up, you take ground the enemy tried to steal.
If you prayed the prayer and want to walk deeper into freedom, we’re here to help.

You don’t have to walk through this alone. And no-you’re not beyond restoration.
“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” John 8:36
Freedom is yours. Take the first step. Speak the truth. Raise the sword. walk in light.
