“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20)
In all matters of faith and practice, Scripture remains the final authority.
And yet, when it comes to deliverance, many have leaned not on the Word, but on tokens: oil, water, salt, handkerchiefs, as if spiritual power were something to be bottled, sprinkled, or waved around.
But Christ is our model for deliverance. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons by the authority of His name, not by ritual objects.
Matthew 8:10 celebrates a centurion who believed Jesus could heal just by speaking a word. That’s the kind of faith that made Jesus marvel: not reliance on props.
Philippians 2:9–11 tells us:
God gave Him the name above all names… that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
That’s the power.
That’s the authority.
And it’s available to us, not through elements, but through identity.
Isaiah 54:17 reminds us that “every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn.”
That’s not done with saltwater. It’s done by standing firm in who we are in Christ.
Demons don’t flee because of rituals. They flee because of faith.
The Bible says: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” (Hebrews 11:6)
And again: “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8)
Faith isn’t an accessory. It’s the entire weapon.
1 John 5:4-5 declares:
“Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.”
I speak as someone who served over 20 years as a missionary in occult-dominated regions.
I’ve seen the real battle.
I’ve seen darkness tremble, not at oil, but at the authority of a believer who knows their position in Christ.
Yes, Christ once used mud to heal: but He never said, “Go and make mud kits for ministry.”
The method was never meant to be the model.
He gave us power, not paraphernalia.
The Church doesn’t need more tokens.
It needs power from on high.
Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” (Acts 1:8)
Let’s stop spiritual theatrics.
Let’s return to the Word.
Let’s walk in the authority we’ve already been given.
The Name of Jesus is still enough.
Shalom!

Someone once told me, “I only light candles and burn sage for good vibes. I’m not summoning anything dark.”
But here’s the truth: the spiritual realm doesn’t operate on vibes. It operates on authority.
The devil doesn’t care about your good intentions. He only cares that you opened the door.
In today’s culture, spiritual counterfeits are everywhere – tarot cards repackaged as “clarity tools,” horoscopes pushed as harmless fun, “healing crystals” sold like spiritual medicine, and mediumships wrapped in pretty language like “ancestral connection.”
But the packaging doesn’t change the poison.
Occultism in Disguise
Most people aren’t knowingly joining witch covens or casting curses in the basement. The danger now is subtlety. It’s that gentle nudge to “explore” the unknown, to “just try” a reading, or to look into your past life “for closure.”
It feels spiritual.
It feels empowering.
And it’s a trap.
Scripture doesn’t leave room for negotiation. God clearly warns:
Do not consult the dead, do not use divination, do not seek answers outside of Him (See Deuteronomy 18:11-12).
These aren’t suggestions. They’re boundaries of protection.
Why?
Because what answers back when you call isn’t your grandma. It isn’t your “spirit guide.” It’s something far more dangerous, wearing a familiar face to gain your trust.
The Spiritual Fallout
Here’s what they don’t tell you in those cute aesthetic witch-Tok videos:
•That recurring anxiety?
•Those nightmares?
•That oppressive heaviness that won’t go away?
•That weird sense that you’re “not alone” in your room anymore?
You opened a door. And demons don’t leave on their own.
The Only Way Out
If you’ve dabbled, experimented, or gone headfirst into spiritual practices that don’t line up with the Word of God, there is hope.
You are not doomed.
But you do need to repent and renounce it fully.
Halfway deliverance doesn’t exist.
Call on the name of Jesus (Romans 10:13). There’s power in that name to rescue you from the dark forces you’ve entertained. (Philippians 2:10)
Confess your disobedience, and He will forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7-9)
Renounce all that you were involved in, and cut off ties with them.
Delete files and destroy all the gear, close doors, and fill the space you gave away.
Get into your Word. Fast. Pray. And don’t look back.
God won’t compete for your attention. But He will rescue you.
Are you ready to break the cycle and come back under God’s covering?
Leave a comment or message me. You’re not alone, and you’re not too far gone.
Shalom,

Pain can become gain if you process it the right way.
Principles build stability when everything else falls apart.
And trying to live like someone else? Spiritual identity theft. Stick to Jesus.
So now we ask:
What Biblical Principles Should You Live By?
Glad you asked. These aren’t vague vibes or Christian catchphrases.
These are truths to build your life on, strong enough to stand when emotions fail, when prayers delay, and when people disappoint.
Here are five foundational principles for a patient, powerful Christian life:
1. God’s Timing is perfect
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Stop forcing what God is still forming.
If He’s not late, then you’re not behind.
Patience begins with trusting divine timing.
2. Faith without Endurance is Incomplete
“Let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing.” (James 1:4)
Faith is not a microwave. It’s a crockpot. Let the slow simmer of God’s process mature you.
3. Your Emotions Are Not Your Boss
“He who rules his spirit is better than he who captures a city.” (Proverbs 16:32)
You are allowed to feel. But you’re not allowed to let feelings drive your decisions.
Reacting in rage? That’s easy.
Responding in grace? That’s principle.
4. You’re Not a Victim of Delay, You’re in Training
“After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace… will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” (1 Peter 5:10)
Delay isn’t denial.
Sometimes, it’s discipleship.
Suffering doesn’t mean you’re cursed, you’re being consecrated.
5. Christ is the Model, Not the Mirage
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…” – Hebrews 12:2
You’re not called to copy Christians.
You’re called to follow Christ- in worship, character, and service.
So What Now?
Live principled.
Wait well.
Suffer with grace.
And don’t confuse God’s silence with His absence.
Patience isn’t just enduring-it’s enduring with purpose.
A Final Prayer
Abba Father, we are thankful for the strength to trust You when we can’t trace You. We confess to impatience, and renounce all the unfruitful works of darkness. We command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, all the evil spirits of fear, anxiety, bitterness, with mediocrity and their relatives. We embody Your patience as we endure, knowing that you cannot withhold good gifts from your children. Thank You Father for the enabling grace to be unshakeable in crisis, and unwavering in delays. In Jesus’ matchless name. Amein.
We talked about the power of Biblical principles-how they create structure, stability, and spiritual sanity in a chaotic world. These principles don’t just keep you upright, they help you walk in step with God and others.
Stop Imitating People with Publicists
Here’s the trap:
When you model your life after a celebrity, mentor, athlete, pastor, or insert religious influencer here, you’re not following truth, you’re chasing performance.
You start mirroring their behavior, their language, their brand of holiness. But what you see in public isn’t always what’s real in private.
And the result?
Frustration.
Disillusionment.
A weird phase where you say “bless up” but don’t even pray.
If you build your life on someone else’s highlight reel, don’t be surprised when your life becomes a blooper compilation.
Follow Christ, Not a Costume
“Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children” Ephesians 5:1.
Until you take full responsibility for your walk with God, your life will continue to be gallopy: yes, that’s a real spiritual condition: unstable, jerky, all motion, no progress.
But when you model your life after Christ, not culture, not personalities, you don’t just survive crises, you master them.
Christ didn’t promise you’d avoid storms.
He promised you’d have peace in them.
And guess what’s required to maintain that peace?
Patience.
Self-control.
Knowing who you are and whose you are.
To Be Continued…
In the final part of this series, we’ll explore specific Biblical principles you can apply daily to anchor your spirit, renew your mind, and stop living in spiritual autopilot.
Until then…
My Prayer For You
I stand with you against all the forces of evil that are taking advantage of your challenges. I command them to stop and go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ. I pray our Father to help you see where you’ve built your identity on unstable foundations. And that you’ll have the courage to choose Christ over culture, and develop the patience that reflects God’s nature. In Jesus’ matchless. Amein.
We wrapped up Part 1 with this truth: The divine ability to be patient is already inside you.
Which means:You can covert pain int gain-not by wishing it away, but by the way you process challenges.
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life” (Proverbs 4:23)
Question worth Asking Yourself
Want to grow in patience? Start here:
.What’s your pain threshold? . How do you respond to loss-of people, property, or dreams? How do you handle damage to your reputation, relationships. or self-worth?
Do you react with anger, bitterness, faith, fear, fight or flight?
Your answers=a mirror to your internal framework. That framework is built on…principles.
What Are Principles, Anyway?
Let’s not complicate it. A principle is:
“A rule or code of conduct”- Merriam-Webster
In simple terns:
A principle is a truth you choose to live by. It’s the core reason behind your actions and reactions.
Why Your Principles Matter
Just like nature has laws )gravity, anyone?), your personal life has governing truths.
If you want to grow and help others do the same, you need to stop winging it and build your life on solid principles.
But here’s the problem:
Many Christians today live by..
*Family traditions
*Government laws
*Social media trends
*New age “vibes”
*Denominational doctrines
And surprise! Tat often leads to confusion, burnout, and a life with no spiritual GPS.
Build on the Bible, Not on the Breeze
When principles are rooted in God’s Word, they:
Undergird Your decisions (hold you steady)
Create consistency in your behavior (no flipflopping)
Build cohesion in your life (everything sticks together)
“The Word of the Lord endures forever.”- 1 Peter 1:25. When the world panics, you process with patience. When fear knocks, you stay focused. Why? Because you’re not tossed around- you’re principled.
A Final Challenge
I dare you (yes, dare) to do some intentional thinking this week. Re-evaluate what you’ve been living by. Are Your principles built on truth… or TikTok?
When you rebuild your life on God’s Word, Patience becomes more than a virtue-it becomes your superpower.
A Prayer For You
I pray that God our Father, by His Spirit, would stir in you a deep hunger and thirst for righteousness- That your life be filled with purpose and marked by impact. By His unfailing grace, you become increasingly fruitful and productive in all your endeavors. I declare that your life will count for more, and that you will shine as a light in your generation, bringing glory to His name. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Hope in the Darkness: A Reflection on Spiritual Warfare
There are seasons in life when everything feels like it’s unraveling. The weight of anxiety, grief, discouragement, and confusion presses so heavily that even getting out of bed can feel like a battle. In those moments, we cry out, “Where is God?”
We may not realize it, but what we’re experiencing is more than just emotional or mental distress—it’s often the front lines of a spiritual battle.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6:12
This verse pulls back the veil. It reveals a reality that’s easy to overlook: our lives are part of a greater, invisible war between light and darkness. But even in the deepest valleys, there’s a hope that never fades—not just a vague optimism, but a living, breathing hope anchored in the power and presence of God.
1. Understanding the Nature of the Battle
Spiritual warfare isn’t just for theologians or missionaries—it’s for every believer. The moment you gave your life to Jesus, you entered a battlefield. And here’s the hard truth: the enemy doesn’t attack those who aren’t a threat. If you’re feeling the heat, it may be because you carry a purpose that terrifies hell.
The enemy’s mission is clear:
“To steal, kill, and destroy.”(John 10:10)
He targets your identity, distorts your view of God, and whispers lies that feed fear, shame, and despair. His tactics are subtle—discouragement, spiritual fatigue, toxic thoughts, and strained relationships.
But there’s power in recognition. Once we realize the battle is spiritual, we stop blaming people or circumstances and start standing in spiritual authority.
2. You Are Not Alone in the Darkness
One of Satan’s most effective lies is isolation. He wants you to believe you’re the only one going through it—that you’ve been abandoned. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Consider these biblical examples:
David cried, “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?” (Psalm 13:1)
Elijah, overwhelmed and burned out, asked God to end his life (1 Kings 19).
Even Jesus felt crushing sorrow before the cross (Matthew 26:38).
They all faced dark nights of the soul. And God did not abandon them—and He won’t abandon you.
Faith doesn’t deny the pain. It clings to God through it. Hope whispers, “Even here, He is with me.”
3. Equipped for the Battle: The Armor of God
God doesn’t send us into battle unarmed. In Ephesians 6:13–17, Paul lays out the spiritual armor available to every believer:
Belt of Truth – Ground yourself in the truth of who God is and who you are in Him.
Breastplate of Righteousness – You are covered by Jesus’ righteousness. Grace still holds you when you stumble.
Shoes of Peace – Let His peace steady your steps, even in chaos.
Shield of Faith – Protects against doubt, fear, and spiritual attacks.
Helmet of Salvation – Secures your mind with the truth of your identity and eternity.
Sword of the Spirit (God’s Word) – Your only offensive weapon. Use it boldly, like Jesus did when tempted.
This armor isn’t just metaphorical. It becomes real as we draw near to Christ and walk daily with Him.
4. Prayer and Praise: Your Greatest Weapons
Too often, prayer is our last resort. But in the kingdom of God, prayer is the first line of defense. Ephesians 6:18 tells us to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions.”
Prayer changes things. It brings clarity, authority, and breakthrough. When you pray, you invite heaven to move on your behalf.
And don’t underestimate praise. In 2 Chronicles 20, when Judah faced an army, Jehoshaphat put worshippers on the front line. As they sang, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever,” God confused their enemies and gave them victory.
Praise doesn’t deny the battle. It declares who wins.
Praise when you feel like giving up. Worship when your heart is breaking. There is power in your praise.
5. Light Always Wins
Here’s the truth the enemy hates: he cannot overcome the Light.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5
Jesus doesn’t just bring light—He is the Light. And when He steps into your situation, darkness has no choice but to flee.
No matter how dark it feels now, this is not the end of your story. Your breakthrough could be one prayer, one worship song, one act of faith away.
6. Holding On to Hope When You Feel Like Letting Go
Let’s be real: sometimes hope feels like a hollow word. When you’re numb, exhausted, and overwhelmed, hope seems far away.
But hope doesn’t mean denying reality. It means believing in a greater one.
It’s holding on to the promise that:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
When you’re too tired to fight, whisper His name. When you can’t see the way forward, just take the next faithful step. The Spirit of God within you is stronger than what’s coming against you.
Hope is not passive. It’s a bold, defiant declaration that God is not done yet.
Reflect and Respond
Take a few minutes to reflect on these questions:
Where in your life do you sense spiritual resistance or warfare?
What lies has the enemy been whispering—and what truths from God’s Word can replace them?
Which part of the Armor of God do you need to put on today?
Are you isolating in silence or reaching out for help?
What does it mean for you to choose hope today?
A Prayer for Hope in the Battle
Father, I come before You weary and sometimes overwhelmed, but not without hope. I thank You that even in the darkest places, Your light is never far. Teach me to recognize the battles I face and to stand in the strength of Your Spirit. Help me to wear the armor You’ve given me—not in fear, but in confidence. Remind me that I am not alone. Fill me with Your truth, clothe me in Your righteousness, and steady me with Your peace. When I can’t find the words, let praise rise up in my soul. I declare that You are greater than every enemy I face. My hope is in You, Jesus—the Light that the darkness cannot overcome. In Your mighty name, Amen.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
You may be in a battle now, but take heart—it’s not your final chapter. The war has already been won. Stand firm. Suit up. Pray boldly. Praise fiercely. And never forget: even in the deepest darkness, you are never without hope.
