#41 Prayer Focus for Today: To be led by the Holy Spirit & not gratify the cravings of Human nature (flesh).

Prayer Goals:

*To discern God’s leading & guidance, 

*To be Open & Receptive of corrections 

* To grow in Christian maturity.

Bible Base: Galatians 5:16:
[16]  But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). Galatians 5:16, AMPC 
According to Romans 8:14, “all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.(Romans 8:14, NLT)

Which begs the question:

 A). How do you know that you are being led by the Holy Spirit?

B). Answer: The evidence that you are following the leadings of the Holy Spirit is the “fruit of the Spirit” Galatians 5:22-23 

B1). The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…” Galatians 5:22-23 NLT.

B2). Again,  The Bible says, “You will Know them by their fruit” Matthew 7:16.

C). “No matter how many blind eyes pop open at the sound of your voice, and you can pray more than a ‘praying mantis’: if you do not have the fruit of the Holy Spirit from God, then you are being led by the flesh;

D). Every Believer has the Holy Spirit. Your human spirit was recreated by the Holy Spirit, when you heard God’s Word and placed your faith in the Finished Work of Christ (Read John 3:3-6; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:23, Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9)

D1). The “fruit of the Spirit” are the Characteristics of God in you that the Holy Spirit produces. 

D2). We cultivate and increase the “fruit that the Holy Spirit produces”, when we “resist the devil and not yield to temptations’ – Read James 1:13-16; 4:7, 1 Corinthians 10:13)

D3). If you do not work at maintaining your salvation, you will revert into the “flesh mode”

E). The doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),  Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. 

I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” Galatians 5:19-21 AMPC 

(Read that scripture again before claiming they will lose your salvation,  it did not say “will not enter”, it says, “will not inherit” the kingdom of God)

E1). And because the “gifts and callings of God are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29),

you might erroneously think that you are being led by God’s Spirit because you are  “charismatic”, whereas, you are being led by evil spirits who control the sinful nature. 

Hence you are producing all the works of the flesh outlined in Galatians 5:19-21

E2) This is how the Bible describe your state:

“For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do” Galatians 5:17 AMPC 

F) Do not despair my brother/sister.  If you really desire to be led by the Holy Spirit, you can cultivate the fruit of the Spirit that is already in you. Glory be to God. 

G) What you can do:

G1). Refuse to obey the promptings of the sinful nature- “Walk in the Spirit so that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16) 

It is called spiritual Warfare. You must learn to say NO to temptations!

G2). Be obedient to the promptings of the Spirit of God – “My sheep hear my voice…and they follow me” John 10: 27-28. Which means, you make the conscious choice to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

G3) Read the Bible. Become Bible-literate and Word Perfect, in order to discern His leading and guidance.

*Subscribe to a 1 year daily Bible reading plan if you want to mature in your knowledge of God.

*Because God talks to His children through His Word- the Bible. 

*We know God’s voice through the Bible,  which is His mind revealed to us (1 Corinthians 2:16)!

*Stay focused on the Bible intentionally, and don’t be carried away by every wind of doctrines! 

*Know God for yourself! And Be Open and Receptive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance as you read the Bible.

G4) Pray always- Luke 18:1: Prayer is talking back to God. Communicate regularly with God in prayers.

This list is by no means exhaustive!

But as you honestly work on yourself to cultivate the fruit, it will increase in you, and it will be clear to everyone that you are led by  the Holy Spirit.

You won’t need to tell people ‘I’m a Christian- your lifestyle will announce whose child you are, and who us leading you.

 Hold fast to the liberty you have in Christ Jesus, refuse to be that slave to sin, ever again!

Let us Pray:

1).Father God, thank you for your Holy Spirit that made our rebirth possible.

2) Thank you for your enabling grace that is working in you both to will and to do of your good pleasure. 

3) We acknowledge that we “have not yet resisted to blood” (Hebrews 12:4) the pull of human nature, and have fallen like a pack of cards.

4) We receive forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness, and the enabling grace to resist both the devil and temptations.

5)Thank you for filling us afresh with the Holy Spirit and with power,  so that we will consciously cultivate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

6) We hereby renounce all the works of the flesh and declare that we are free from

 immorality, impurity, indecency, Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),  Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and related evils.

7) I….(your name) affirm that sin no longer has dominion over me, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus,  has made me free from the law of sin and death. 

8) As your sheep, we hear your voice and follow You. We declare we shall never follow the voice of the stranger again.

9) All the evil spirits assigned to confuse, frustrate, and deceive me are hereby to leave my world at once and go to the feet of Jesus  Christ. 

10) Thank you Father for reigniting your fire 🔥 in me! I am a born again child of God and I am Spirit-Filled and Spirit-led,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

#38 Prayer Focus for Today: Spiritual and Physical Deliverance from Victim  Mentality. 

Prayer Focus:

*To set you free from both the root causes,  and the evil spirits influencing it.

*To help the renewal of your mind.

Roots:

Earlier in life, you may have had traumatic experiences that have left you with feelings of hopelessness, frustrations, and hurt.

The victim mentality could also be from betrayals that have left you with the erroneous belief that you lack support from anyone.

Again, it  could be as a result of codependency, with you supporting a spouse, and unable to meet your personal needs, which would leave you resentful, bitter,  angry, and manipulative.

All or any of the above, is ground enough to make you feel like a victim if you let it. 

No matter how much you try to mask it, the ‘victim mentality” will show up as follows:

*Lack of self confidence, 

*Low self-esteem,

*Unwillingness to do anything (self sabotage),

*Negative self-talk,

*Angry outbursts

*Loneliness,

*Making others feel guilty,

*Manipulation of others for sympathy,  

*Resentment, 

*Isolation,

 Hopelessness etc.

If you do not work on yourself, you are on the road to developing a Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).

2 sides to your Deliverance:

1. Spiritually Enforcing your Deliverance: which involves the use of your Christ given authority over evil spirits- Read Luke 10:19.

Spiritual Warfare (deliverance) Prayers:

  “And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons…”Mark 16:17, AMPC

Although  I will pray with you,  it is important that you do this for yourself.  As a child of God (if you are born again) you also have the authority to confront and overcome the spiritual forces of evil. 

You are your Deliverance minister.

#PrayerPoints4Today:

1). Thank God for your life, for this article, and for the salvation of your soul.

2). Admit your lack of appreciation for the Finished Work of the Cross, which is at the core of that victim mentality.

2a) Conduct a soul-search and sincerely confess to God  why you feel victimized and not victorious.

3). Thank  God for forgiveness of sins and cleansings from all unrighteousness.

4). Affirm that you have faith in God and believe that HE causes all things to Work together for the good of those who love him.

5). Present all your challenging circumstances to Him- open your heart to Him, and tell Him about your expectations.

6). Believe in your heart that your expectations will be granted.

6a). Remember that, if God did not spare His Son, but gave him up for you, will he not freely give you all things? (Romans 8:32)

7) Tell yourself that you are not alone, and have all the support you need in God, who promised never to leave or forsake you, in any situation or circumstances. (Isaiah 43:2, Hebrews 13:5-6)

8) Affirm that you are a born again child of God , and in Christ Jesus, you have overcome the world.

9)  Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, abd with all their relatives, all the evil spirits who took advantage of traumatic experiences,  betrayals, and other abnormalities in your circumstances to work against you.

10)  Command to stop at once, lack of self confidence, low self-esteem, unwillingness to do anything (self sabotage), negative self-talk, angry outbursts, feelings of loneliness, guilt-tripping others, manipulating others for sympathy, and  resentment, isolation, hopelessness, survival guilt, and other negatives that are plaguing your life.

11) Declare that you have been set free and refuse to be encumbered any further by any yoke of bondage to human nature. 

12). Declare that you are more than a conqueror,  and are an overcomer in Christ Jesus your Savior.

13) Thank God for His enabling grace, the impartation and imputation of righteousness, and the indwelling Holy Spirit, who is your Strengthener,  Advocate, Helper, Standby, and Intercessor, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ

#34 Prayer Focus for Today: Deliver your Child from the “spirit of fear’(1).

Prayer Goals:

*Liberation from the spirit of fears and related evils.

*Establishing the fear of God. 

Fears can be (A) Beneficial or (B) Destructive. 

Today’s article covers only section A and the  prayer points.

A). Beneficial Fear: Proverbs 14:26, Hebrews 12:28-29

When you train your child in the fear of God,  you preserve the child’s life from the destructive forces of evils in the world.

They will grow up to be brave, bold, and secure, in the knowledge that God loves them, and watches over them.

In Proverbs 14:26 it says, 

“In the [reverent] fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will [always] have a place of refuge.”AMP

Personal Testimony:

I am thankful that we are parents to accomplished adult children, and grandchildren who are in the various developmental stages of life.

Some of our grands  already have a Bachelor of Science degree,  married,  etc

And so far, two of these adult children are Ph.D holders, while others are involved in post graduate studies.

I said that to say this:

Their greatest achievements are in their fear of God! 

We spared nothing in order to train them in the reverential fear of God. 

And when we discovered that some of them were likely to be under the influence of negative forces, my knees hit the floor,  in prayer to God, and I never stopped talking to them about Godly values.

Above all, I walked the talk! I lived a life that in itself, reinforced right/Godly values. 

Your Part:

a). Refuse to be confused, anxious or depressed by your child’s behaviors. 

b). Do not lose hope or give up on that child. 

c). Be prayer-full. Pray all manner of prayers — from supplication to spiritual warfare. 

d). Be that parent who refuses to accept that negative prognosis, but who triggers the desired changes in the child through prayers.

The Bible assures us that the heartfelt and persistent prayer of a believer is able to accomplish much, because it has tremendous power! Read James 5:16, AMP.

e) Keep talking about Godly values, it will preserve them from evil, protect them from divine judgments,  and prosper them in the midst of inflation!

“True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor and long life” Proverbs 22:4.

There are great benefits in training our children or grandchildren to have respect for God, and to obey Him by living by His guiding principles and submission to His Will.

#PrayerPoints4Today 

1). Thank God that there is therefore now no condemnation to you and that you walk in the Spirit and the flesh or sin no longer have dominion over your bloodline. 

2). Affirm that you and the children God has given to you, they are for signs and wonders,  therefore, righteousness shall be your way of life.

2b)And if any of your children have not accepted Jesus Christ, pray for the grace of God that brings salvation to all peoples,  to appear to them.

2c)Keep praying for evangelists to reach them and for them to be receptive   to the Good News.

2d) Cast down arguments, ideologies, or whatever else will try to hinder their faith on God- for salvation is by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8

3) Present your children to God by name, and affirm that they shall serve Him  in spirit and in truth. 

4) Declare that all bloodline dedications, covenants, pacts, agreements, etc, with anyone, spirits, angels and anything or anyone, that is not the Only True and Living God, is abrogated by the superior blood covenant of Jesus Christ.

5). Proclaim your bloodline liberty from curses, genetic disorders,  poverty, mediocrity, subjugation, rebellions, and other related evils.

6) Command all the forces of evils,  whatever their ranks, positions or authorities,  to lose their hold over the mind, will, consciousness, subconsciousness,  and deep consciousness of your children.

7) Call your children by name and prophesy over them. (By that I mean declare/proclaim the good you desire to see, or manifest in and through them.

8) Declare that your children are the generation of those who have reverential fear of God, they have the concept of how much God loves them but hates sin.

10) Declare that your children will grow in the fruit of the Spirit, and the blessings of God that makes us rich without sorrows will abound to them.

11). Thank God for speedy answers to your prayers.

Next is (B) DESTRUCTIVE FEARS. and it’s very enlightening and will set you and your bloodline free.

#31 Prayer Focus for Today: Healings for Eye Problems and Conditions. 

Prayer Goals: 

Take a stand against blindness.

Bible Base: 3 John 1:2 AMPC

“ Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

One of my mistakes as a young Christian minister was religious pride- I thought I knew it all.

As a result, I suffered needlessly because I relied on my own understanding of God’s Word.

Do not make the mistake I made when I thought that there was no need to receive Divine Healings for an eye problem that glasses or something else helped with.

God wants you to enjoy good health the same way  He wants you to prosper. He is a healing God and you are the apple of his eye.

Healings are in the salvation package. Whatever state your eyes are, just know that God heals all diseases, illnesses or disorders. 

#PrayerPoints4Today:

*Thank God for eyes to see, and for the Stripes of Jesus Christ that brought healing to us. 

*Present your unbelief and doubts to Him, and thank Him for forgiveness of sins and cleansings from all unrighteousness.

*Talk to God about the state of your eyes,  the diagnoses and your expectations.

*Ask God to help your unbelief, and to prepare your heart to receive your Healings, in Jesus’s name. 

Let us Pray Together:

*Father God,  thank you for healing us by the Stripes of Jesus Christ.

*Thank you also for forgiving our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

*In unity of faith,  we declare that the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made us free from the law of sin and death. 

*We bring our eyes before you, and claim Healings from Retinal disorders, cataracts, light sensitivity, conjunctivitis, eyelid problems, glaucoma, corneal diseases, blurred vision, color blindness, dry eyes, lazy eye, cross eye…( add your condition) and whatever else are against our vision and blindness. 

*We believe that healing is ours in Christ Jesus,  and we hereby come against any evil spirits who are taking advantage of our neglect, and are frustrating our Healings. 

*We speak healings to all the areas of damage and disorders in our eyes and command them to normalize function. 

*I rebuke blindness and the evil spirits that are behind it, and command them and their relatives to leave our eyes and our health.

*I speak to your eyes to stop deteriorating and start manifesting divine healings. 

*Thank you Father for perfecting the healings Of our eyes.

*I pronounce you free from any form or blindness, or anything leading to blindness, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

Prayer Focus for Today: Overcome Betrayal or Treachery. 

Prayer Goals:

*Exposure and restraining of the treacherous people in your life.

*Stop treachery and betrayals from trending in your life.

*Be surrounded with loyalists and not sycophants. 

Bible Base: Psalm 55: 12-14, Job 19:13-14,19

Sadly, betrayals never come from your enemies. 

Betrayal is disloyalty at its peak. Another word for betrayal is Treachery. The emotional hurts from betrayal is most often worse than physical pain. Hence, David cried about it in Psalm 41:9-10.

A treacherous person backstabs, betrays confidence, is hate-full, deceptive, disloyal,  throws friends under the bus, etc.

God hates treachery even among married people. Hence His Word says, 

“Let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.(Malachi 2,:14-I6)

In both the Old and New Testaments, acts of betrayals ended in the loss of life. 

Example 1: Ahitophel.

Ahitophel was King David’s trusted friend and cabinet minister, and grandfather of Bathsheba. 

Bathsheba was Uriah’s wife, with whom David committed adultery. David murdered  Uriah by proxy in order to hide the sin. 

Although It was a shameful thing to happen in that era, it by no means justified his later actions.  Even though Ahitophel resented David for it, Divine justice was served.

And when the opportunity arose to vent, Ahithophel sided with a rebellious son in order to avenge the scandal.

And he ended up dead with his own hands,  when his plans failed. 

Read it up in-  2 Samuel 25:32-37, 16:21-23. 17:1,14,23; 18:6-15. Psalm 41:9

Example 2: Judas Iscariot:

He was a trusted disciple of Jesus Christ,  who sold him out to the religious bigots.

And when the enormity of his betrayal hit Judas Iscariot, he took his life: just like Ahitophel before him.

Ahitophel and Judas Iscariot, personified betrayals. They were both trusted friends who sold out to the enemy ( See 2 Samuel 15:31, 17:1-4, Matthew 26:14-16; Luke 22:2-6).

And both of them ended up the same way- death by suicide ( See 2 Samuel 17:24, Matthew 27:5)

God abhors treachery:

* Because it makes people irreconcilable or unappeasable (Read 2 Timothy 3:4).

Peter denied Jesus Christ but was restored.

Thomas doubted Him but his faith was built up.

Can you tell me about what happened to Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ?

Refuse to allow anger, bitterness, resentment. etc fester in you, it will produce treachery!

#PrayerPoints4Today:

1). Thank God for the lesson and the grace of repentance.

2. Do a soul search. If you have betrayed the confidences of people and sowed discord among them,  confess to God.

a). Affirm that you are forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness. 

b). Forgive all who ever betrayed you in life.

3. Ask God to expose, and restrain the treacherous people in your life. 

4. Thank God that He prepares a sumptuous meal for you, in the presence of your treacherous friends, and they are absolutely incapacitated and can no longer plot evil against you.

5. Affirm that the evil spirits influencing violence, deaths, disloyalty,  envy, jealousy, vengeance, revenge, unforgiveness and related evils, can no longer function in your world of influences. 

6. Affirm that the love of God poured into you, influences everyone in your world, for you are light and salt to the world.

7. Make that decision today, never to betray people, but rather, to motivate loving actions through them in Jesus Christ matchless name.

Prayer Focus for Today: Confront – False Accusations & Injustices.

Prayer Goals: 

Deliverance from the evil trend of false accusations and injustices

With many people, false accusations or injustices is the norm of their lives. They can’t remember a time when they have been treated fairly, or not accused of something they did not do.

What a horrible and painful existence. 

Until you’ve had this experience, it’s not likely you’ll understand how much it hurts when you have suffered an injustice or are falsely accused. 

False accusations or Injustices, wounds the soul, and leaves you feeling worthless, and victimized; It cages  and puts the accused under the domination of the accuser.

If you do not confront false accusations or injustices, you’ll resent those who spread the falsehoods, and enable them to bully you.

It gets worse because, you’ll feel betrayed by those who heard, and never rose up to defend you. 

If you allow it to continue unaddressed, you’ll feel all alone,  low in self esteem and full of shame. Because, you’ll think everyone believes the falsehood.

If you can relate,  or know anyone who has been through that experience, the Good News is that,in Christ Jesus, you cannot remain a victim!

Bible Base: 1 John 5:4
“For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 AMPC.
Deliverance Prayer:

Father, you are the righteous judge of the universe,  and I know you will do right by me.

Thank you for being my defense,  my advocate and the lover of my soul ❤️ 

Right now DAD, I need help getting over this hurt and anger in my soul, against those who brought unfounded charges against me.

Help me O God to get past these false accusations,  and other injustices.

I hold fast to your Word that no one can lay anything to my charge, for I stand justified by my faith in Christ Jesus.

Although this hurts deeply, and I feel betrayed by those who know the facts, but who did not speak up: in deference to your Word, I forgive everyone of them, and rest in you to vindicate me.

I ask that this be deleted out of my consciousness, subconsciousness, and deep consciousness, for I refuse to allow this bitter experience to continue as a norm in my life. 

*I refuse to allow this to be a trend in my life.

*I refuse to accept the status quo of being rewarded evil for good.

*I refuse to  be unappreciated, maligned, and backstabbed, or slandered, and condemned by selfish, self opinionated, manipulators, who refuse to take responsibility for their life.

*I refuse to be that person who takes the fall for someone else’s unrepentant actions.

*I refuse to be the victim of situations or circumstances, or suffer any form of abuse.

I know who I am in Christ. 

I am victorious by my faith in Christ Jesus, and there is no condemnation to me for I am led by, and walk in the Spirit, and do not fulfill the lust of the sinful nature.

Thank you Father that sin no longer has dominion over me. 

 I acknowledge that I sinned against your Holiness, and I am grateful for your forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness. 

I rebuke all the evil spirits that are trying to influence people against  my relationships and  career.  For, to subvert a person in his/her cause, You will not allow,O God.

I command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, the lying spirits of falsehood,  manipulation,  blaming, treachery, betrayal, as well as those influencing bullying, violence, control, domination, anger, bitterness, resentment, vindictiveness, enmity, variance and their relatives.

I declared that all the evil seeds of slander, gossip, and related evils are destroyed.

Thank you Father, for healing my hurts, and for granting me the grace to forgive them, and to move on. 

Thank you Father that all the handwriting of ordinances working against me has been nailed to the Cross.

From today, I walk in the liberty that I have in Christ Jesus and refuse to be drawn into any form of bondage to satan and his human agents.

I am free  from all satanic poisons, in the matchless name of Jesus  Christ.

Prayer Focus for Today: Exaltation of Righteousness in our Nation.

Prayer Goals:

*Neutralize Election Frauds.

* Exposure of injustices.

*Implosion of all structures &   infrastructures that circumvents justice,

*Restoration of Righteousness.

Bible Base: Psalm 139:7

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” Psalm 139:7 NASB1995 

#PrayerPoints4Today:

1).Pray in tongues (if you have the gift), and worship in songs.

2).Proclaim that God  is the Monarch of the universe who rules in the affairs of nations. 

2b) Identify with all the sins of your nation, especially idolatry, social injustices, collapse of the family, murders, wickedness, etc.

2c). Affirm that you and your nations are forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness. 

3).Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, all the evil spirits that are influencing  election fraudsters, and other evils.

4) Release divine judgments on infrastructures, structures,  and everything else that has been or will be used to pervert justice,  increase hardships or enforce unrighteousness.

5). Command to be destroyed at once, the power base of evils, and all connections, links, and relationships with the pride/backbone of their power, financiers, supporters and enablers.

6).Release Divine justice on whoever/whatever is involved in the training, instigation, funding, supporting, and weaponizing ungodly agendas with their evil election-fraud & social injustices.

7).Declare that all the aforementioned should self-destruct by disintegration, internal strife, or economic failures.

8). Declare that the boomerang effects of anxiety attacks and sleeplessness, are on all initiators and instigators of evil policies, until they withdraw, so that they will know that God is the Monarch of the world, and they are mere humans. 

8b) Command all altars and activities of false worship to implode. 

9. Affirm that this is the era of righteousness, and the reproaches of idolatry, occultism,  voodooism, wickedness, sexual immoralities, and related evils, are rolled away.

10). Pray for the grace of God that brings salvation to be accepted in your nation, and ask God to raise up or send ministers of the Gospel, so that many more wil be won to Christ.

11. Pray that Believers will grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. 

12. Thank God that all infrastructures, and structures of evils, are disintegrating, and peace and wellness is upon God’s people.

13). Affirm that any attempt to frustrate the Gospel, and enforce evil decrees, is dead on arrival.

14). Thank God for being awesome and fearful in praises.  God bless you all.

Prayer Focus for Today: Overcome Discouragement. 

Discouragement comes when we focus on problems instead of on God.

Discouragement comes, when you see limited income and the bills that are past due date!

Discouragement comes when after praying and fasting, your health situation is not changing!

Discouragement creeps stealthily like a thief in the night. You begin to feel disappointed, worthless, tired and exhausted. You feel caged in!

Unless you stop it right there, discouragement can deteriorate to depression, and degenerate further,  to clinical depression.  

Refuse to allow satan kill your joy, steal your happiness and destroy your life. 

Say to yourself, 

“I refuse to be discouraged! I am coming out of this quagmire in Jesus’ name. 

David knew how quickly discouragement can open doors for increased activities of evil spirits, hence He

“ encouraged himself In the LORD” 1 Samuel 30:6.

How?

He turned to God, sought directions, and obeyed God (1 Samuel 30: 7-20)

David was in a bad place, but God brought him out with plenty!

Principles for Overcoming
 Discouragement: (Read Proverbs 3:5-7)

This shall be a pray-along session:

1). Trust God with ALL your heart. (Pr 3:5a). 

To trust God means to have absolute confidence in Him. It involves knowing in your heart that, If HE did It before, HE will do it again. 

Understand that what God did for others, he can and will do for you.  

God’s reputation precedes Him. He never fails. 

A1). Prayer Points:

*Thank God that there is an end in sight for all your issues. 

*Ask forgiveness for all the ways you have idolized problems. 

*Thank God for forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness. 

*Affirm your trust in Him by declaring that God remains faithful and will do right by you.

2). Don’t lean on your own understanding( vs 5b).

  Learn to see things from a better outlook- think outside the box,  and never attempt to preempt God, nor box Him. 

B2). Prayer Points

*Ask God to open the eyes of your innerman, to enable you see beyond real-time into HIS enabling grace.

*Ask God to increase your acumen  to enable quickness of perception, and the skill of making accurate decisions.

3). Acknowledge God in ALL your ways.( vs 6a) 

Never be in a hurry to make decisions. Pray and watch for God’s directions.  You will know intuitively what to do, when peace floods your soul.

C3).Prayer Points:

*Thank God that you are growing in patience, knowledge and understanding. 

*Declare  that in Him you live, move, have your being, and can do all things by His enabling grace alone.

*Thank God that the Holy Spirit is your ever-present helper who leads, guides, teaches,  and is working ‘in you’ both to will and do God’s will. 

4) Obedience of Divine Directives: 

Review 1 Samuel 30:7-20, and you will get it that a change in circumstances occurs when you act on God’s Word.

D4.Prayer Point:

*Affirm that your mind is the mind of Christ, and that your food is to do God’s will at all times. 

* Declare that all imaginations, ideologies, philosophies,  false religious doctrines no longer have power to confuse you.

*Declare that you are willing and obedient and shall eat the good of the land.

*Affirm that God has caused all things to Work together for your good, therefore, there is a lifting up for you, physically, spiritually, emotionally and financially.

5). Be humble: “ be not wise in your own eyes,”(vs7b) Humility involves submission and courtesy. 

5a)Submit to God’s WAY of re-solutions. His foolishness is far wiser than the wisdom of the wisest human! 

5b) Extend courtesy to others, for God gives more grace to the humble, but opposes the proud( Read James 4-6-12). 

You should avoid Divine opposition!

E5)Prayer Points:

*Command to go at once, to the feet of Jesus Christ,  all the evil spirits influencing pride, disobedience, discouragement, confusion, lethargy, procrastination, disappointments,  unrealistic expectations and spiritual blindness.

*Command destruction on all  structures, Infrastructures, routes, links, and doorways that enabled the incursions and activities of evil spirits into your world of influences.

6). Fear God (vs7a) 

To fear God is to depart from evil.

F6)Prayer Points:

*Declare that you stand in awe of GOD and that the power to sin against His Holiness no longer functions.

* Affirm that as God is love, so are you in this world .

*Recommit yourself to God

7). Depart  from evil(vs7b)

G7)Prayer Points;

*Thank God that you are born again and thus a new creature in Christ.

*Affirm that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death.

*Declare that you are imparted and imputed with God’s righteousness and sin no longer has dominion over you.

*Affirm that you have believed and received Christ and as a child of God, you are light and salt in this earth.

*Declare that your good deeds will point others to Christ for healings, deliverance, prosperity, security, and general welfare characterizes your existence in this world, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

Prayer Focus for Today: Impoverished & Abandoned Seniors (1).

In order to reinforce the importance of Family as a support network, God gave a command with a promise to His people which states:

“ Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.” Deuteronomy 5:16 AMPC 

It is so sad that there are many seniors in our society,  who are  unsupported by family, as ordained by God.

Most of these seniors spent the better part of their lives, giving value to the lives of relatives, friends and kids.

Some even took care of Grandchildren whose parents were either dead physically or became irresponsible due to addictions.  

To whom much is given, much is expected ( Luke 12:48)

How just is it that in their old age,  those who worked so hard to give others a life, are now abandoned  and are impoverished. 

Do you not know that the measure you use for others will be measured back to you? See Luke 6:38

When God gave us this prayer focus this morning, it made us all emotional. It brought back both fond and painful memories.

You need to do a search of your relationships:

A). to ascertain if you are doing God’s will, or 

B). have reneged on your responsibilities to your family.

From the Biblical Perspectives,  you are responsible to help others, especially your parents and relatives. (See 1 Peter 3:11, Galatians 6:10, Luke 6:27-28)

From our opening scriptures taken from Isaiah 58, which we have as a picture- post, (make time to read it): 

God clearly states why you are going through what you are going through.

The solution to your problem lies not only in fasting and deliverance prayers, but most importantly, in the change of your attitude and actions. 

The way Forward:

1). If you have a family that you are not supporting, have a change of mind.

1b). Ask and receive forgiveness from God and change your actions to reflect your new mindset.

1c). Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, all the evil spirits that have been executing on you, the curses of death, destructions,  hardship, frustrating circumstances, illness,  disfavor,  injustices, and all related evils.

1d) Thank God for the grace of repentance and the enabling grace to make amends.

1e) Affirm the blessings of God in Isaiah 58:8-12. Speak it over yourself until your adversities change to blessings.

1f) Apologize to those you hurt by your behavior, attitude and actions. 

1g) Resolve to love people, do right by them despite who they are or what they have done to you.

Then your fasting and prayers will make sense.

Next, will be for those who have been abandoned by family, and a prayer session for all.

Our Father and God,thank you for loving us despite our shortcomings. 

I identify with those who have reneged on their responsibilities for whatever reasons, and admit that we disobeyed You.

We receive forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness.

Thank you for the grace of reconciliation, forgiveness and healings of the hurts that created the anomaly.

I ask God that you heal the hearts, and memories of all involved,  and that you work in them both to will and to do of your good pleasure. 

As you heal relationships Fatger, heal finances and resources also. 

We are grateful for the repentance, redemption, reconciliation, and restoration that is possible because of Jesus Christ. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amein.

Prayer Focus for Today: Get rid of slander (Part 2)

In Part 1, we discussed what slander involves, who the slanderer is (Gr. diabolos, English devil), what slandering does,  and the dangers of not ridding the self of slander.

And you also had a Prayer Action segment which involved the reading and acting on Psalm 139:23-24.

If you are honest in your quest for deliverance from all attacks of evil spirits, you will be humble and exercise self discipline: And as God’s Word says, 

“ Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29”

Before we pray today, we shall  discuss how you can get rid of slandering and live a Godly life in Christ Jesus. 

Deliverance session:

Deliverance, so you know, is Ground level Spiritual Warfare.

Deliverance involves not only the casting out of demons (Read Luke 10:19) but to intentionally live by God’s righteous standards in this world (Read I Timothy 6:12).

It is important to “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12). For we are victorious over,  or overcome  this world by our faith (See 1 John 5:4).

If evil spirits are cast out of people or environments, and they are not filled with or produce righteousness, demonization multiplies (Read Matthew 12:43-45).

In order to get rid of the ability to slander, it is important to,

a). Clearly define WHOSE you are and WHO you are. If you are born again, you are a child of God ( Read John 1:12, 1 John 3:1).

b). Have a clear understanding of what God requires of you: The Bible says,

  “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? [Deut. 10:12, 13.]”Micah 6:8 AMPC 

c).  Have working principles from the Bible that will undergird you in decision making, and also guide your conduct in interpersonal relationships.

Ci). For example, love everyone unconditionally, but Trust only God. Read Luke 6:32-38, Jeremiah 17:5-8)

If you love everyone, you won’t slander them or hurt them, and if you Trust in God with all your heart, He will direct your ways to success, and you will not need to throw anyone under the bus, in order to be a hero!

*). Father God, thank you for your Word that has brought enlightening to me. 

*). I acknowledge that I have slandered and done wickedly against you.

*). In consonance with Your Word, I believe that I am forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness.

*). I affirm that I have everything I need to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus,  for as your child, I now have your divine nature. 

*). I stand against all ingrained abilities that are working contrary to God’s Word, as well as biases, prejudices, slandering, partiality, blaming, irresponsibility and all other related evils. 

*). And I command all the evil spirits influencing these negatives in my life and relationships,  to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ. 

*). I affirm that I am born of God and hereby proclaim that all ancestral yokes, curses, genetic disorders and other negatives can no longer affect, determine or influence my life and relationships.

*). For I….(name) have been delivered from the domain of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of God’s Son of love.

*). I proclaim that sin no longer has dominion over me and that I am now producing fruits of righteousness, for I am increasing in love, joy, peace, longsuffering(patience),  gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (selfcontrol)(Galatians 5:22-24).

*). Thank you Father God that Christ manifested and destroyed the works of the devil, and in Him, I have entered into the blessings of Abraham.

*). Whatever I lay my hands on to prosper, I shall live a long and healthy life and proclaim God’s goodness in this life.

*). My life shall continually display Your goodness to my world,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. 

*) You are an important link in spreading the Good News. Therefore,  share this with others.
