#3How can we be delivered from generational curses?

Earlier, we discussed that:
‘Deliverance is actually classified as ground-level spiritual warfare which has two sides to it- (1) casting out demons and (2) living the higher life of righteousness.

We also explained that Spiritual Warfare is an ongoing process for all Christians.

Here is why:
“Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
(2 Corinthians 1:10 KJVAE)

If you take the above verse of scripture literally, you will note that God who delivered in the Past, keep on delivering in the Present and will also deliver in the future.

In my book Demons Deactivated1
(Understanding Spiritual Warfare), I already explained the principle of ongoing deliverance. Those who understand the process of sanctification have no problem understanding this concept.

Let me try to simplify the concept here:

When you were born again, and delivered from the domain of darkness and transported into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, (Colossians 1:13), it was your recreated human spirit that was reconciled to God.

Your Soul and Body need to learn to live as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus in this depraved world.

We are thankful that God gave us a panoply of weapons in His Word.
That would help us subdue the forces of evil, subdue the innate desires of our flesh, and overcome the ingrained learned behavior.

Hence God said in 2 Timothy 3:16 that,
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work”

To train and teach your Soul and Body to live the higher life of righteousness, would require that you-

Confront these 3 major war zones:
The world,
Satan the devil and his evil forces, and
The flesh

The world:
Because the world is decadent, the forces of evil are looking to prey on the ignorant. But be of good cheer, our Lord and Savior already overcome the world.( John 16:33)

However, you must remain sober, strong and vigilant in order to nullify all satanic attacks with the shield of faith. (Read 1 Peter 5:8-9, Ephesians 6:10-18)
Satan and his evil forces:
The devil is not an issue at all for those in Christ.
Casting out demons is the easiest part in spiritual warfare, because satan is already a defeated foe. It is God who leads us to triumph daily, as we use the authority invested in us by Christ Jesus (See Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 10:19).

However, you must not give the devil a foothold or else, he will have a stronghold of you.
That is why you should cast down all imaginations, philosophies, philosophies, ideologies, denominational dogmas and anything else exalted above the knowledge of God.(Read 2 Corinthians 10:4-7)

Because if you don’t, the time you would have used to go forward, will be wasted pulling down strongholds that you allowed!
The Flesh
The Bible says “the works of the flesh are manifest” another translation says, “the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19‭-‬21 AMP)

Of the three war zones, overcoming the Flesh-or sinful nature is where the stiffest battles are fought and won. Because the battle is fought in the mind.
Battleground of the mind:
The mind is the seat of the personality. It is from there we think and make decisions that control the direction our lives would go. (Read Proverbs 4:23)

Once you make up your mind about things, execution is easy.
And what we see, hear, touch, smell and taste, influences the decisions the mind makes.

Hence we must daily overcome the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life (See 1 John 2:16)

We must not let our guard down, but strive towards perfection by constantly overcoming the innate desires of the sinful nature.

According to scripture, we must mortify the deeds of human nature. (See Romans 8:13), and also kill it (Read Colossians 3:5, Galatian 5:19-21)

In addition, we must produce fruits worthy of repentance ( Matthew 3:8), as well as manifest the Fruit of the Holy Spirit which is:
“[the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22‭-‬23 AMP)

Let the habitual sinfulness not transcend you to the next generation- it must stop with you.

You must take back your life and the future of your children/family, and stop blaming ancestral curses or yokes.

Do the needful.
Put more effort into developing Christlikeness in worship, character, and service,
Deliverance Procedure/ Spiritual Warfare
*Acknowledge the sin (s) and identify with your bloodline to repent of them. (Read Daniel 9:1-19: 1 John 1:9 in order to understand the principle of identificational Repentance)

  • It is important to Believe that God is just to forgive sins, and to also cleanse from all unrighteousness, so you don’t go about with a sin-conscious and guilt-trips mentality.

Because if you do not believe what the Word of God says about God, you call God a liar and will be chain-sinning instead of living righteously.

*When you Confront the sins that opened up the demonization of your bloodline, you neutralize the demonic hordes feeding off sins of the family secrets.

Repentance disables demons and activates the mercies of God.
That’s why the Bible says,
“People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13,NLT)

*Command all the demons assigned to your bloodline that are influencing adversities, cyclical problems and evil trends etc, to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ with all their relatives.
Note This:
You know the active demons by the symptoms or problems that are manifesting in you or other family members.
What to do:
Just call them by name e.g diabetes, hypertension, addiction, poverty, hardship, unrelenting problems, error, instability, indebtedness, failures. Mediocrity, etc.
Give them a destination:
After calling them out, tell them to leave your family and go at once to the feet of Christ Jesus with all their evil relatives.

  • Believe in your heart that the demons influencing those conditions that you called out are gone – for with the heart we believe and with the mouth we confess our deliverance (Read Romans 10 :8-10)

*Thank God – gratitude elevates and brings wholeness:(Read tge story of the 10 lepers)

*Go right ahead to PROCLAIM the new conditions that should characterize you and your bloodline.
E.G. AFFIRM we have a sound mind, divine health, excellence in all aspects and facets of life, stable marriages, sexual purity, restoration of Godliness etc…

You can even DECREE that all your family shall become born again and also RELEASE to your bloodline the anointing of God’s Spirit that brings salvation, healings, deliverance….

Declare all this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.
Worship in songs and pray in tongues if you have the gifts.

#2:How can we be delivered from Generational curses?

As earlier discussed, most of what is referred to as generational curses are actually the result of an individual’s personal sinfulness.

The Bible define sin as “all unrighteousness” ( See 1 John 5:17)

Due to ingrained learned behavior, children continue the sinful lifestyle of their parents, which their parents learned also from their parents.

And because of the degenerative effects of sin, resultant sicknesses and adversities always worsen.

However, these negatives cut-off with repentance and the establishment of Godliness.

Therefore, You must learn to take responsibility for your life and be ready to unlearn or cast aside those things that are unrighteous, if you desire a change in your life.

You can work out your deliverance:
(Read Luke 10:19, Philippians 2:12-13, Ephesians 4:22-32)

Deliverance is actually classified as ground-level spiritual warfare which has two sides to it- (1) casting out demons and (2) living the higher life of righteousness.

Sinfulness attracts demons, whereas, Righteousness alienates demons.

Even if you cast out the demons influencing the adverse conditions you are experiencing, and do not make lifestyle changes, your condition will be better temporarily.

But later, the condition will worsen just like a cancer that entered remission and comes back with killing intensity. (Read Matthew 12:43-45)

Therefore, You must be intentional and resolute if you want to unlearn ingrained sinfulness, so that the demons cast out cannot ever come near you and your bloodline.

I stand and hold firmly to the beliefs that although a born again Child of God cannot be possessed by demons, they can be vexed or demonized.

Which means that they can be manipulated, influenced, depressed, obsessed, etc by demons, if they continue in sin without repentance.

The Body of the individual Believer of Jesus Christ have become the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

And in my theology, God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5)

So, how can light and darkness coexist in the same place, when darkness disappears at the entrance of light? (John 8:12, John 1:5, Amos 3:3)

#1:How can we be delivered from generation curses?

When you have Faith in the Finished Work of Christ Jesus, and make character changes, you will no longer operate under the burden of curses.

Curses enable hardship, while blessings enable ease of achievement.

But according to the Bible,
“Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs [crucified] on a tree (cross)”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might also come to the Gentiles, so that we would all receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit through faith.(Galatians 3:13‭-‬14 AMP)

And when the Holy Spirit comes, you are empowered to live a liberating lifestyle.

Scripturally, curses don’t come on a person without a cause(s) (Read Proverbs 26:2)

Sinfulness is the major cause for curses to come on anyone.
Believers are Blessed beyond curses:
Because Christ became a curse for us (Galatians 3:13-14)

But many Believers manifest the same issues as their ancestors because of habitual sinfulness.

Through learned behavior, sinfulness becomes ingrained in the personality.

Thus, the child of a diabetic grows up with unhealthy eating habits. Which if not corrected, will produce 2nd or 3rd generation of diabetics.

To the spiritually ignorant, the situation of that family will be diagnosed as ‘generational curses’.

That was no generational curse but consequences of not growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

If after you are born again, you do not produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit, but continue to imitate the behaviors of your ancestors, then be ready to suffer as they did.

An illustration of how curse with causes can come on people.

From over 30 years experience as a Spiritual Warrior on the frontlines, I can found that a high percentage of those afflicted with prostate cancer were sexually immoral.

If you are a man (as in a real natural born man), and you are from a lineage where prostate cancer attacks, simply repent, and maintain sexual purity. And you will not be afflicted by prostate cancer.

But if you don’t repent, the curse will have a cause to come on you, as a deterrent.

Apply this same principle of repentance to other aspects of your life. (Read Proverbs 28:13,1 John 1:9)

Discovery:
Do a family research to discover the predominant or trending problems among your relatives.

Does diabetes, hypertension, addiction and addictive behaviors run in your family? Let it run out from you.

Identify the cause, break the chain of afflictions by claiming the victory of the Cross, line up your life with the Word of God, live right, and eat right, so that you will enjoy the blessings of Abraham in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:14):

SPEAKING TO THE DEAD: A DEATH-BOUND LIFE.

Who are the Spiritualists? 

Spiritualism is the term for a group of denominations with ministers, hymn singing, and services that feature alleged communication with the dead. 

I visited several Spiritualist churches while in college and so know first-hand what it is like. Notice in the excerpt below that Spiritualism considered itself a Christian denomination; this was true in Europe as well, where the movement infiltrated many churches. 

In fact, some branches of Spiritualism still consider it Christianity.

The spiritualists were one of the first American Christian churches to believe that the dead could directly speak to the living. 

Parishioners were more likely to refer to “Infinite Intelligence” than god, and they studied the Bible for instances of trances, clairvoyance, spirit writing and other acts from beyond the grave.

A resurgence of interest in speaking to the dead came in the late 1990s with popular mediums and authors such as the late Sylvia Browne, James Van Praagh, Rosemary Altea, and the still-popular John Edward whose TV show “Crossing Over” broke out of its network confines to reach 98% of the television market in the U.S.

Contact with the dead and hauntings are now a theme on many programs that feature allegedly haunted buildings, TV shows such as “Medium,” and reality-based programs like “The Last Goodbye” and “The Long Island Medium.” 

These shows and personalities intrigue people and there is a steady diet of such material, nor do I think it will lessen.

According to one poll, 37% believe houses can be haunted and 34% believe ghosts/spirits of the dead can come back (From Oct. 2011, source at http://goo.gl/sRyUti).

WHAT DOES GOD SAY?

The Bible has many passages condemning contact with the dead and consulting those who speak to the dead (Leviticus 19:31, 20:6, 27; Deuteronomy 18:10–11; 1 Chronicles 10:13–14; and Isaiah 8:19–20), but there are still two incidents people have questions about:

— The dead prophet Samuel appearing to Saul (First Samuel 28:11-20)
— Moses and Elijah appearing with Jesus on the Mt. of Transfiguration (Luke 9:28-36)
Samuel and Saul

In first Samuel, King Saul was in bad straits. He had disobeyed God who had taken away his Spirit from Saul; the prophet Samuel was dead, and now the Philistines were advancing. Saul, who had banned mediums from the land, sought out a medium in desperation. 

The medium called up the dead Samuel; however, she seemed surprised to see Samuel. I believe that God is the one who allowed this or perhaps brought Samuel back; the medium did not have this power. 

Samuel rebuked Saul for disobeying God and predicted his death and the death of his sons in battle the next day, and the victory of the Philistines.

This truly was Samuel, not a demon. First of all, the text states it is Samuel. 

Secondly, Samuel gave specific correct predictions about the future, something only a prophet of God could know; and thirdly, Samuel rebuked Saul, something a demon would not do.

God used Saul’s forbidden consultation with the medium to give him a message that condemned his action.

 This is a one-time singular incident, not a normal one, in which God allowed Samuel to appear to Saul. 

First Chronicles 10:13, 14 follows up by telling us that one reason that Saul was allowed to die in battle is because he consulted a medium, thus reaffirming God’s ban on consulting mediums.

Jesus with Moses and Elijah

Jesus goes with Peter, John, and James to a mountain to pray and, while praying, Jesus becomes transformed, his clothes “white and gleaming.” The text continues:

“And behold, two men were talking with Him; and they were Moses and Elijah, who, appearing in glory, were speaking of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.” (Luke 9:30, 31)

This is more akin to a vision than a case of dead people “coming back.” 

They did not really come back; 

they appeared briefly with the transformed Jesus “in glory” speaking about the coming crucifixion, the purpose of Jesus’ mission on earth, which was to die on the cross and pay the penalty for man’s sins. 

Moses stood for the law while Elijah stood for the prophets; thus, Jesus was bookended by the law and the prophets, of which he was the fulfillment:

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.” Matthew 5:17

Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of the Messiah and the requirements of the Law in his own person; there was no further need for anyone to wait for anyone else. So for the representatives of the law and prophets to be with Jesus at this moment was symbolic and significant. 

Elijah was also a type for John the Baptist, who announced the coming of Jesus and baptized him.

There is nothing in this passage to endorse contacting the dead or seeing ghosts; this event, another unique incident, was an act of God to shine a light on his son Jesus, and in fact, God made a statement affirming Jesus as he did at Jesus’ baptism:

“This is my Son, the chosen One, listen to Him!” (v. 35b)

The message here has nothing to do with the dead, but rather is about Jesus’ fulfillment of prophecy and the law, his coming atonement on the cross, and the Father’s affirmation of his Son.

WHAT ABOUT HAUNTED HOUSES OR THOSE WHO SEE OR HEAR A GHOST?

I have personally heard probably stories from over 100 people (not counting TV shows and books) about seeing a ghost, hearing noises in a haunted house, or hearing from dead people. 

There are 5 main explanations:

1. Imagination/delusion

2. Grief (grief counselors say it is common for people who have recently lost loved ones to think they see them momentarily, hear them, or even smell them)

3. Hoax (as in the haunted house programs)

4. Natural causes

5. Demonic

The fifth explanation usually applies to a situation where someone is involved in occult activities. This would include those who purposely attempt to contact the dead or who are involved in other occult practices, or have consulted those involved.

When I was in the New Age, I attended some séances and was able to receive messages from what seemed to be dead people; even years prior, a supposed dead person had appeared to me. This was all a result of my interest and visiting the Spiritualist churches.

 Attending a séance will definitely produce results almost all the time. But it is not dead people who are giving the messages; it is fallen angels.

THE NEARLY DEAD AND THE HEAVENLY VISITS

I consider the experiences and messages from those who have NDEs (near death experiences) and who claim to have died and been to heaven to be a step in the direction of the category of claims to speak to communicate with the dead.

Although there is a trend in the church now to try to use NDEs as evidence for the after-life and a big trend in books by those claiming to have visited heaven, I consider these to be imagined, physiological, and/or demonic experiences. 

Such experiences take away from and often contradict God’s word. God has revealed what we need to know about death and the afterlife; there is no need to listen to these tales.

Moreover, Jesus makes it pretty clear in the account of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16 that there is no going back after death. It is appointed to man to die once, and then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).

Such stories induce interest in experiences over truth. I believe that the experiences of those in so-called near-death states can be demonic. I had OBEs (out of body experiences) in the New Age which is similar to some of the NDEs and I know of others whose OBEs gave them information that was accurate.

The fact that someone declared dead and then revived can then relay a factual event while he/she was “dead,” does not mean this event is from God. 

In fact, it does not glorify God; it only cultivates a taste for the paranormal and, in the end, it is not substantive proof of life after death since the person was never truly dead. “Near death” does not mean dead in the final sense.
JESUS HAS THE LAST WORD

The only One who really has died and who came back is Jesus. His physical resurrection is unique in the annals of religion. When he appeared to John on the island of Patmos to give the Revelation, he said:

“I am the First and the Last, and the Living One. I was dead, but look—I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Revelation 1: 17b-18

So where will you go when you die is the question of the day. You cannot count on truth from the mediums, the dead, the ones with NDE tales, or from those who claim to have been to heaven. 

The only life-giving message is from Jesus Christ, who died to pay the penalty for sins. Faith in the true Jesus and his work gives forgiveness of sins, and his bodily resurrection gives eternal life with God.

The choice is death or life.

Pray and stand up for those being persecuted for righteousness sake.

We need to PRAY for God’s supernatural intervention, as well as act on our faith by standing up for the rights of the persecuted.

The scripture points 👉 us to how Peter was arrested because there was no resistance from the Church (the BODY of CHRIST)

“About that time King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church. He had the apostle James (John’s brother) killed with a sword. When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter… (Acts of the Apostles 12:1‭-‬3 NLT)

You cannot be silent at a time like this.

The persecutors will take your silence as consent, and they will continue to persecute Christians until you become their next victim.

Refuse to be the ‘useful idiot’ who will side with the persecutors because they are your friends, family, business partner or employer.

Do not be ignorant of satan’s devices.

Your usefulness ends the day they manipulate you to betray the brethren by foolishly trusting them.

Never be deceived.
Satan is a master of the art of deception. His strong arguments made mother Eve and father Adam sell-out the inheritance of their descendants.

That is the reason we are cautioned to be clearheaded and to be alert , for your accuser the devil is on the prowl looking for prey! (See 1 Peter 5:8)

We overcome all satan’s persuasive arguments by holding fast to our faith in God.

Do not sell-out the Brethren (fellow Believers), whether they are of your denomination, or local church family.

Anyone who confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord is your family of faith, and belongs to the Body of Christ.

The wolves will be isolated by those gifted to discern the spirits.

Stay focused on the mission, and keep doing what you have been gifted to do for the Body of Christ.

The Bible says :
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you.
Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.

Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. (1 Peter 4:10‭-‬11 NLT)

Additionally, “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.

So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.

If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.

If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.

If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.

And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. (Romans 12:6‭-‬13 NLT)

No one is self-sufficient. We need each other. We need to have each other’s back.

While praying, act out your faith by standing up against the persecutors of the Body of Christ, by using the gifts God endowed you with.

If you are an intercessor, Organize prayer meetings in your home, home-church, community etc, to pray for those in trouble.

If you are gifted in serving, excel at it for the benefit of others.

If giving is your gift, reach out to the needy, give to aid those fighting our cause in the courts.

If you are a prophet, never cease from making authoritative prophetic decrees.

Be bold. Be brave. Be intentional and
to pursue excellence in whatever God has gifted you with.

Take your divinely gifted responsibility seriously.
Prayer:
Thank you ABBA Dad for your presence in our world today.

We stand against ongoing evils in our world, especially in our nation.
We acknowledge that you are our Monarch who rules in the affairs of nations.

We cut off all satanic reinforcements to his human agents that are sitting in the affairs of nations.

We declare that the pride of the satanic human agents is destroyed. They will experience Open shame and confusions among them right away.

We command to be neutralized at once, all satanic plots, including the game plan to dehumanize Christians, convert church-owned properties to farmlands, and the attempts to frustrate Christian employees to quit, etc.

We proclaim that the Spirit of God, like a flood, has lifted a standard against them. They are drowned in their own plots.

We are Thankful Father God, for the unity of the Body in the bond of peace, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray 🙏 🤲.

How should I cast out your demons, when you have rejected Jesus Christ? In whose name will I cast it out?

How should I cast out your demons, when you have rejected Jesus Christ? In whose name will I cast it out?

Recently, I got an email from a well- meaning fellow, telling me that people don’t need to be saved or born again for their demons to be cast out.

But they are unaware that those who came to Jesus Christ were desperate! They wanted to be saved from whatever was troubling them.

Because,
“Salvation can be found in no one else. Throughout the whole world, no other name has been given among humans through which we must be saved.”(Acts of the Apostles 4:12 CEB)

Hence the open invite by Jesus Christ says,
“Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. (Matthew 11:28‭-‬29 CEB)

It is rather unfortunate that many people come to our Facebook pages and groups, complaining about being tormented demonically.

Even though they claim that they need deliverance, they REJECT having a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Deliverer.

Who are we without Jesus Christ? We cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead etc in the name Jesus Christ, the Savior of Humanity.

It’s sad that some well meaning, but spiritually ignorant people of God (those who claim to be deliverance ministers), are compounding the issues. They are enabling these folks to remain in their sins and bondages to satan, by their “deliverance-for-hire” marketing skills.

Job Description:
We are commissioned to preach the Gospel- the Good News of Salvation- heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, baptize, and make disciples of all peoples, in the name of Jesus Christ (Matthew 10:8, 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-17, Luke 10:19, 24:47)

Salvation is a packaged deal- it contains deliverance, healings, prosperity, etc. Which comes with faith in Jesus Christ’s COMPLETE work.

Our Model:
Jesus Christ cast out demons, healed the sick, etc. But they either came to Him, or were brought to Him. There was a connection. There was a relationship.

He interacted with some- like Blind Bartimeaus, and the blind man who saw men as trees. (Mark 8:24,10:46-52)

Some others had faith in His abilities, like the woman who had the hemorrhage (Luke 8:43-48)

People who came to Jesus Christ wanted to be saved!

Even the madman of the Gedarenes, who came to meet Jesus, was fully ready for his legions of demons to be cast out. He even went on his knees and worshipped Jesus. And afterwards became a witness and a follower. (Luke 8:26-39)

Perspectives:
I would rather leave you with your demons than cast them out prematurely, and have the demons return with 7 worse relatives. (Matthew 12:43-45)

We care.
Hence we offer Bible- Based and Christ-centered therapy at the Spiritual Warfare and Tactics Squad-SWATS and in all our connecting ministries.

Demons are non issues. We are not just in the business to cast out demons alone. We care about your general wellbeing and afterlife.

As “Spiritual Warriors”, demons run away from us even before we speak. Beside that, deliverance is beyond casting out demons.

What Deliverance?
Deliverance involves living victoriously over self, sin, and satan. And these are possible when you Acknowledge Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You must come to Jesus Christ 🙏

But if you still enjoy having your demons and want nothing to do with Jesus Christ, that is your prerogative.

But to a large extent, those who are having spiritual or paranormal issues, have pet-sins they are not yet ready to let go. Even though they want the demons out!

What they fail to understand is that those pet-sins give the demons the legal right to continue to torment them.

However, when the time is right, and they really want to be set free, they will accept the salvation that we offer through a relationship with Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12) Patience is a virtue of the Christian faith. We await them.

Anyways, Why should we interfere with what God is working out in their lives? 🤔 When the process is complete, they will take the life-line offered.(John 14:12, Acts 18:18-26).

Wisdom is profitable to direct (Read Ecclesiastes 10:10).
Zeal must be according to knowledge (Read Romans 10:2).

If you call yourself a deliverance minister and just go about casting out demons, you are zealous but ignorant (Read Romans 10:2-4).

Prayer:
Thank you Father for giving us Jesus Christ to be salvation, healings, deliverance, prosperity, and wellbeing for us, giving us the liberty to have life in all its fulness. Amein.

Is it possible to not allow the torment of sicknesses? 1-3.

Answer: Very possible. For if you give sickness a foothold, it will hold you strongly.


Part 1:
Bible Reference:
Don’t provide an opportunity for the devil. Don’t let any foul words come out of your mouth. Only say what is helpful when it is needed for building up the community so that it benefits those who hear what you say. Put aside all bitterness, losing your temper, anger, shouting, and slander, along with every other evil. Be kind, compassionate, and forgiving to each other, in the same way God forgave you in Christ.” (Ephesians 4:27‭, ‬29‭, ‬31‭-‬32 CEB)

The Bible verses referenced above are some of how you can keep away the corrupting influences in our world from attacking your Body and Soul. Thereby frustrating the torment of sicknesses.

Do you know that the Human is Spirit, has a Soul and lived in a Body?

1.Your Spirit is your link with God. And it died when Adam, the representative of the Human race, sinned against God. (Read Genesis 3)

Unless you are ‘born again’, your human spirit remains dead.
If you try to get into the spirit realm through fortune tellers, necromancers, ouija boards, channellers, diviners, palmistry, and other occult means, you are setting yourself up for manifold troubles and sicknesses. Legions of demons will make a home in you.

If you desire a spiritual experience, then get born again.

  1. Your Soul is your personality that came into existence when God animated the human Body of clay, with His breath of life. (Read Genesis 2:7)

Your Soul is the seat of your personality with faculties that helps you to feel emotions, think, make choices, etc. (Read Proverbs 23:7)

Your soul is also the bridge between the natural and the supernatural worlds.

That is the major reason God’s Word warns, ‘Guard your heart with all diligence, for it determines the course of your life’ (Read Proverbs 4:23)

If you allow unsavory thoughts to fester without casting them down, psychosomatic disorders will result. And mental health problems can become the bane of your life.

Solution:
‘Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly…'(Read Colossians 3:16)

That is reason enough for you to get into daily Bible Readings.
Take advantage of the free subscriptions offered by YouVersion, KJV, etc. Use any search engine to find them, and get going with your personal “Me-Time-with-God”.

And you will be strengthened in your spirit and soul- your inner man

For, the more of the Word of God you have in the inside of you, the more of the Word you become.

And according to 1 Peter 1:23, the Word of God is “incorruptible, indestructible, and abides forever’

The more you ingest the Word of God daily, the stronger your Spirit becomes and you can never suffer sleep-paralysis!

  1. Your Body links you with the natural world through your five senses of taste, smell, touch, hearing, and sight.

I said all of that to say the following;

What goes out of your mouth calls the power of life or death into play (Read Proverbs 18:21)

Hence you are not to allow evil words out of your mouth (See Ephesians 4:29)

Your eyes, ears, nostrils, mouth and unhealthy environment are able to become access routes for demons to torment your soul, and make your body sick.

Therefore, you must be careful of what you view, hear, taste, touch and smell.


Part 2:
Defeat sickness by Faith:


Bible Reference: 1 John 5:4: “Everyone who is born from God defeats the world. And this is the victory that has defeated the world: our faith.” (1 John 5:4 CEB)

Do you know that the world is full of reasons for you to be sad and depressed?

However, you must refuse to allow depression, and its evil relatives, any further liberties with your emotions.

Instead, look into the goodness of God and let joy increase in you. Thus, you’ll get healthier, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Fight that sickness:
Because, If you give that sickness a small chance, or are accepting of it, it will take over your soul and body.

When you refuse to acknowledge the symptoms, it is not denial. You are simply overriding them with God’s Word.

In Matthew 8: 17 it is stated that Jesus Christ “took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.” Matthew 8:17 CEB

Refuse to grant sicknesses any further liberties with your body.

Affirm daily that you are “the healed”, for Christ has taken the illness and also carried away the diseases. Therefore sicknesses and illnesses have no place in your life.

Be bold! Be brave! Grow your faith.
Keep saying it until the symptoms no longer manifest!
That is how to fight!

Use your shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of aches, pains, discomforts, fears and medical reports that are being thrown at you.

Use the Sword of the Spirit- which is the Word of God, to nullify their efficacy in your Body.

My dear friend, ‘wisdom is profitable to direct’

Never accept the satanic status quo.

Sin, sicknesses, shame, etc are part of the works of the devil that Christ manifested to destroy. (1 John 3:8)

Affirm God’s Word daily through Confessions:

Let us Pray:
*Thank You Most High God for giving humanity, Jesus Christ as the propitiation of our sins.

  • Thank you for the saving grace available for us in Jesus Christ.
  • We acknowledge our sins, and accept the grace of forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness.
  • We affirm that our minds are renewed by the Word of God, which gains ascendancy over every other word that enters our souls.
  • In unity of faith, we proclaim that the Finger of God is against all sicknesses and diseases that found solace in our bodies.
    *All evil spirits that were assigned to plagues our Bodies and Souls with sickness through whatever means, are to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, with all their relatives.

*We refuse to grant sicknesses and diseases of the soul and body any further liberties. Therefore, we call out cancers, diabetes, all mental illnesses, deafness, dumbness, poor eyesight, dental issues, as well as sicknesses and diseases of the liver, esophagus, heart, kidneys, fallopian tubes, alimentary canals, arthritis, Axial spondyloarthritis, and others , are to come out of our souls and bodies to the feet of Jesus Christ.

  • We hold fast to the Word of God that Christ Jesus has carried away our sicknesses and diseases, and we are healed by His stripes.
  • For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death!

*I…proclaim that the law of thermodynamics, deterioration or decay have no place in my life.
*All symptoms of sicknesses and diseases are removed from me.
*It is well with my Spirit, Soul, and Body for I am born again by the incorruptible and indestructible Word of God that abides forever.

Prayer to Confront Unrelenting Issues

Bible Reference: 1 Samuel 24:12

“May the LORD judge between me and you! May the LORD take vengeance on you for me, but I won’t lift a hand against you.”
1 Samuel 24:12 CEB


Introduction:

Today, we shall use the model of how David confronted his unrelenting issues to confront ours.

Read up on David from 1 Samuel.

David was chosen by God to be replacement for King Saul. It was his Divine destiny.

David was in no way responsible for Saul’s fall from grace. But that did not stop Saul from seeking to kill David.

Can you envision the situation David was in? A young lad being hunted down by the president and head of the armed forces and all other security agencies.

There were informants everywhere. There was no hole he could hide in other than the forest and caves .
Well, that was familiar territory for David.

As a shepherd boy, David knew the best hiding places that the kings guerrillas did not know of. Even though anointed King already by God, he was on the run for his life.

Eventually his family too had to run to him too because of constant harassment from the kings men.

And yet, when David had the opportunity to kill the king and take the throne, he would not.

Instead, he repented of even thinking such foul thoughts and appealed to the Righteous Judge of the universe to intervene in his circumstances.

David cried out saying;

“May the Lord judge between me and you; and may the Lord avenge me on you; but my hand shall not be against you.”(1 Samuel 24:12 AMP)

PrayerPoints4Today

1.Praise God with Words. Sing songs of deliverance praising God for showing up strong for you aa always.

2.Acknowledge that it is your disobedience to God’s Word that has opened you up for both divine discipline and the demonic attacks against you.

  1. Affirm that God is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
  2. Command all the evil spirits working against you to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ with all their relatives.
  3. Like David, you may have unrelenting issues such as a long standing reproach, indebtedness, health conditions that defies medical care, treacherous relationships, cheating fiances or spouses and other horrible experiences that has doggedly trailed your life.

Right now, call out to God to judge that your unrelenting circumstances
according to HIS righteousness, and avenge you.

His Word says to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will answer.

  1. Declare that the unrelenting foes or conditions such as – adversity, poverty, demonic torment, homelessness, indebtedness, joblessness, singleness, addictions, delayed marriage, marital problems, wrong choices, sexual promiscuity etc. that has been the bane of your life must submit to God’s righteous standards.

Enough is Enough.

  1. You are going to present your strong argument as David did. God’s Word says, “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” – 1 Peter 5:10.

Did you just read what that scripture verse says-“that after you have suffered a little while? It did not say your suffering will be unending.

8.Thank God that His Word gains ascendancy over those unrelenting conditions and circumstances , setting you free to have life in all its fulness.

  1. Affirm that God the righteous Judge of the universe and who also is your righteousness has upheld His righteous Judgment ovet everything that was making life unbearable for you.
  2. Stay Encouraged and focus on the goal:
    Our God did for David, and He is not partial. If you are born again, realize that You are accepted in the Beloved, and and you are His righteousness in Christ Jesus. There is no condemnation to you.

My friend, stop accepting the status quo and hiding behind ancestral yokes.

Today is the day your life must change for good. The paradigm has shifted in your favor. you gotta pray yourself out of this stalemate in Your life

Every situation in your life that does not line up with the Word of God, must be judged today by God’s righteous standards.

The injustices and false balances in your life must be righted today in Jesus Christ’s matchless name.

  1. So cry out to God and declare His faithfulness, justice and mercy. God is not man to lie. His gifts and callings are irrevocable.
  2. The Bible says that God did not call the sons of Jacob to worship Him in vain. Therefore, affirm that your life must show forth His praise. People will look at the great changes in your life, and their eyes will have respect for God.

13.Pray in the spirit- scream, shout, song, weep, as the Spirit gives you utterances.

Today is the day that yoke of oppression is destroyed. You will not continue this new year with these unrelenting problems, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

  1. Proclaim that you are delivered from failure, depression, addictions, addictive behavior, homelessness loneliness, hopelessness, divorce, abusive relationship, etc (add your peculiar challenges)

Proverbs 12:13 says, “the just shall come out of trouble”. Yesss,!!!! Today this scripture is fulfilled in your life.

You are out of your troubles in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

God will perfect all that concerns you.

  1. Declare that there are performance manifestations of God’s Word in your life to“ restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” – 1 Peter 5:10.
  2. Thank God for the Restoration of His original purpose for your life.

(Remember that God restored the throne to David even when his son rebelled against him, supported by the wisest counselor in the land.)

17.Be thankful that repentance leads to reconciliation and restorations . Affirm that all that you lost are being restored fully in Jesus name.

  1. Confirmation: My Prayer for you:

When David ascended the throne, he was a local hero until God intervened and the12 tribes confirmed him and he became a national hero.

I pray your mediocrity be replaced with excellence and God’s gift in your life draw the right attention to you and cause you to be celebrated to God’s glory in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says we should show forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light- See 1 Peter 2:9
You shall be in the limelight for good in the name of Jesus Christ.

  1. I pray that God grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit indwelling your innermost being and personality, so that Christ will dwell in your hearts through your faith.
    And you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you will come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you will be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you will have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

  2. Establish:

As God established David on the throne. I pray to God to establish the works of your hands, your family, your dreams, aspirations, hopes, desires, marriage, career, business, prayer and study life, etc.

21.Keep praying in tongues and in the understanding.

I did say you should write a prayer request. While praying, you need to refer to what you wrote down and align it with God’s Word that we are praying.

How do we give the devil a way to victimize us?

Inability to forgive quickly is one of the major routes for demonic infiltration.(Read 2 Corinthians 2:11)

Hence God warns us to not give the devil a foothold. (Read Ephesians 4: 27)  

When you allow  anger to fester, bitterness will take root. And bitterness is corrosive. 

Bitterness destroys internally, resulting in mental health issues, life threatening cancers and psychosomatic disorders. (Read 1 Corinthians 5:5)

Do not be ignorant of satan’s schemes. If you are unforgiving, satan will take advantage, and use it as an opportunity to initiate his forces of evil against you.

Forgiveness is not an option: if you don’t want to be victimized by the forces of evil.

Forgiveness will help you heal fast from mental health issues and other life threatening sicknesses. 

If you do not forgive easily, you become satan’s fall guy and a victim of divine justice (Read Matthew 18:21-35; 7:2,  6:12-14.

Renew your mind and resolve to forgive quickly without waiting for the apology.

Dear people of God and Praying Partners, this month of February, which is my birth month, is a special time to love myself, so that I can love my neighbors as myself.

I’ll be focusing on prayers to confront personal issues.

Learn to Prioritize a Prayer list:

I have ten prioritized prayer requests.

(I may not share my personal prayer requests with you, unless of course I am graced to do so: but I might share some related scriptural quotes in picture-posts)

Perchance you might be led to join me in order to deal with your issues as well, you need to itemize your requests in order of priority.

Below are my Prayer Outlines for this special prayer season.

BIBLE BASE: Psalm 126:1-6

Prayer Goals:

“Turn to freedom our captivity and restore our fortunes, O Lord, -Psalm 126:4 AMPC

Start:

Day 1: 6 am- RECOMMITMENT : Reaffirm faith in God

9 am: WORSHIP God for who HE has been to you. For me, God has shown Himself faithful

12 Noon: Review your victories

3 pm: Present all your requests

Day 2.

MORNING session: Present your strong arguements for Request 1

EVENING session: Continue with Prayer Request 1-Exhaust all your options and narrow down your desired outcomes.

Day 3: morning session: Present Request 2 with your strong arguements.

Evening session: continue with prayer Request 2. Continue praying and worshipping , until you have peace in your mind.

Note:

Keep presenting your requests , with strong arguements, worshipping in Songs , praying in tongues, holding fast to your confessions, till the 20th day of February.

On the last day, which is February 21st. Devote that day to praise and worship. Be glad like Hannah, and thank God forward that your prayers are answered.
