#36 Prayer Focus for Today: Deliverance for Married Couples who desire to have children.

Prayer Goals:

Removal of  anything frustrating their expectations:

The 4 major reasons why people can’t have children are:

1. Curses: 2. Medical (Infertility Issues) 3. Unknown causes, and 4. Personal choice 

If for whatever reasons you cannot  have children, and you are married and desire to have children,  then this prayer is for you.

If you are also aware of Family and friends who desire to have children, send this prayers to them.

Our confidence is in our God who answers prayers and who gives children as gifts to Humans.

 Back in Genesis, He told the first couple to,

 “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it…” Genesis 1:28, AMP.

We know also, that God in Christ Jesus, is 

“Upholding all things by the Word of His power” Hebrews 1:3

And through two unchangeable things (His promise and his oath), we can reassure you that it is impossible for God to lie (See Hebrews 6:18).

Therefore, hold fast to your confessions of faith.  The zeal of God watches over His Word in order to perform it.

Let Us Pray these- #PrayerPoints4Today:

1). Thank God for your gender, and for creating you to be very good . 

2). Thank God for your spouse, for your marriage is a good thing.

3). Admit to God the different things you did that are contrary to His righteousness. For those who cover their sins don’t prosper (Read Proverbs 28:13)

4). Affirm that when we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

5). Affirm that there is therefore no condemnation to you, because you are now a child of God who is Spirit filled and Spirit-led. (John 1:12, Romans 8:1,14, Ephesians 5:18)

6). Affirm that as a child of God, you have been redeemed from All curses of barrenness, infertility, unproductiveness, premature deaths, hardship, unsuccessfulness, and related evils. 

7). Affirm that by virtue of the Finished Work of Christ, you have inherited the blessings of Abraham. 

8) Declare that you are a fruitful vine and all medical causes of Infertility are no longer tenable arguments against your productivity.

9) Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus  Christ, all the evil spirits that were Influencing ovulatory disorders, endometriosis,  low sperm count, and aging limitations.

10) Command your brain to produce hormones that control ovarian functions.

11). Declare that eggs must mature and you must ovulate.

12). Declare that your fallopian tubes are healed and must pick up the eggs, and fertilization must happen,  and the embryos must travel unhindered to the uterus, and implantation must happen for you.

13) Thank God for healing your sperm, vagina,  uterus and every aspect of your reproductive organs.

14) Declare that you will bring forth children with joy and all who hear will laugh with you and praise God. 

15) I join faith with you and proclaim that God’s Word shall gain ascendancy in your life, and will produce the results of what it says. All other words against you are null and void, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

#35 Prayer Focus for Today: Deliver your Child from the “spirit of fear” (2)

Review Part 1 in order to continue 
(B)Destructive Fears:

According to the Bible, ‘Fear has torment’ (1 John 4:18).

Thus, destructive fear erodes the soul, diminishes the humanity of a person, and retards personality development. 

 Destructive fear is the reason  for your child’s  clinginess, frequent tantrums, sporadic emotional outbursts, incessant cries like a waterfall, or sometimes freezing on you (hold still). 

These things  can happen when doors have been opened to ‘a spirit of fear’ (2 Timothy 1:7).

The following routes grant free access to evil spirits who are tormenting your child:

1). Information Transmission: 

When we allow children to access inappropriate information, view inappropriate content, like horror, violence movies etc, or listen-in to adult talk and  evil narratives, etc., our children become the victim of evil spirits

2). Heredity: 

Genetic fear is transferred in  the genes of forebears who were hosts of the spirit of fear. 

It is important to review family history, identify, and evict those evil spirits by spiritual warfare prayers. 

3). Learned Fears: 

Children can be conditioned  to be fearful through-

(a) Direct Experiences (such as having been abused); don’t be a careless parent, watch out for your child. Remember that child abusers are majorly trusted contacts!

(b) Observation: (when children  personally see someone else receive unpleasantness such as being abused)  it scares them and puts them under the torment of evil spirits.

If you are in an abusive relationship, for the sake of yourself and your child, seek help! Leave for your child! If you continue to live in an abusive situation, you will be Divinely culpable for violating God’s trust. He sacredly  trusted you with the life of that child.

( c) Instructions: (when they are either trained or told to be afraid) Hence it is destructive to threaten children, it gives evil spirits control of their emotions. 

4) Traumatic Experiences: 

Such as the death of a parent or pet, divorce, separation, accidents, physical or sexual abuses, bullying, and violence etc,.

Oftentimes parents are careless and do not seek to help the children process grief appropriately. Thereby leaving room for evil spirits to gain control and subjugate the child.

Although this article is not an exhaustive treatise, I pray that the  information shared here will help you understand what you are dealing with, and what you ought to do to rescue your child from these forces of evils, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️ 

As the Bible clearly states, “through Knowledge shall the Just be delivered’ Proverbs 11:9b.

Let’s intercede and set children free from the spirit of fear and its evil relatives. 

But first, go to Part 1 and start with those prayer points.

1). Thank God for this article and for His grace in bringing it to you.

2). Thank God that you and your bloodlines are free from all the terms of the covenants, agreements,  and pacts with satan, and his human agents. 

3). Declare that the blood of Jesus Christ is speaking better things for you and yours,  and all the voices of accusations from the past, are silenced for all eternity.

4). Affirm that your children are the fruits of your body and they are good. Therefore, they are immune to the fears and torment of the devil.

5). Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ,  the spirits of fear, tantrums, cowardice, clinginess, crying, retardation, confusion, and trauma.

6).  Command to leave your child and bloodline at once, the spirits of panic, anxiety, insecurity, shock, as well as those causing feverishness, nausea, fainting, upset stomach or stomach ache. 

7). Declare that today is the end of depersonalization, derealization, tunnel vision, lightheadedness,  and the overpowering, irrational, unrealistic, excessive, and persistent fear of animals, storms, water, heights, blood, driving, flying, and enclosed places.

8). Thank God that His  grace that brings salvation, deliverance, healings, restoration, and general wellbeing, have come upon your child and bloodline.

9) Affirm that the mind, emotions, consciousness, subconsciousness and deep consciousness of your child and bloodline are healed.

10).  Declare that your children have received the Spirit of power, of love,  as well as abilities that result in a calm well balanced mind of discipline and self control. 

11). Thank God for answers to prayers, for confirming your words and performing your counsel, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

#34 Prayer Focus for Today: Deliver your Child from the “spirit of fear’(1).

Prayer Goals:

*Liberation from the spirit of fears and related evils.

*Establishing the fear of God. 

Fears can be (A) Beneficial or (B) Destructive. 

Today’s article covers only section A and the  prayer points.

A). Beneficial Fear: Proverbs 14:26, Hebrews 12:28-29

When you train your child in the fear of God,  you preserve the child’s life from the destructive forces of evils in the world.

They will grow up to be brave, bold, and secure, in the knowledge that God loves them, and watches over them.

In Proverbs 14:26 it says, 

“In the [reverent] fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will [always] have a place of refuge.”AMP

Personal Testimony:

I am thankful that we are parents to accomplished adult children, and grandchildren who are in the various developmental stages of life.

Some of our grands  already have a Bachelor of Science degree,  married,  etc

And so far, two of these adult children are Ph.D holders, while others are involved in post graduate studies.

I said that to say this:

Their greatest achievements are in their fear of God! 

We spared nothing in order to train them in the reverential fear of God. 

And when we discovered that some of them were likely to be under the influence of negative forces, my knees hit the floor,  in prayer to God, and I never stopped talking to them about Godly values.

Above all, I walked the talk! I lived a life that in itself, reinforced right/Godly values. 

Your Part:

a). Refuse to be confused, anxious or depressed by your child’s behaviors. 

b). Do not lose hope or give up on that child. 

c). Be prayer-full. Pray all manner of prayers — from supplication to spiritual warfare. 

d). Be that parent who refuses to accept that negative prognosis, but who triggers the desired changes in the child through prayers.

The Bible assures us that the heartfelt and persistent prayer of a believer is able to accomplish much, because it has tremendous power! Read James 5:16, AMP.

e) Keep talking about Godly values, it will preserve them from evil, protect them from divine judgments,  and prosper them in the midst of inflation!

“True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor and long life” Proverbs 22:4.

There are great benefits in training our children or grandchildren to have respect for God, and to obey Him by living by His guiding principles and submission to His Will.

#PrayerPoints4Today 

1). Thank God that there is therefore now no condemnation to you and that you walk in the Spirit and the flesh or sin no longer have dominion over your bloodline. 

2). Affirm that you and the children God has given to you, they are for signs and wonders,  therefore, righteousness shall be your way of life.

2b)And if any of your children have not accepted Jesus Christ, pray for the grace of God that brings salvation to all peoples,  to appear to them.

2c)Keep praying for evangelists to reach them and for them to be receptive   to the Good News.

2d) Cast down arguments, ideologies, or whatever else will try to hinder their faith on God- for salvation is by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8

3) Present your children to God by name, and affirm that they shall serve Him  in spirit and in truth. 

4) Declare that all bloodline dedications, covenants, pacts, agreements, etc, with anyone, spirits, angels and anything or anyone, that is not the Only True and Living God, is abrogated by the superior blood covenant of Jesus Christ.

5). Proclaim your bloodline liberty from curses, genetic disorders,  poverty, mediocrity, subjugation, rebellions, and other related evils.

6) Command all the forces of evils,  whatever their ranks, positions or authorities,  to lose their hold over the mind, will, consciousness, subconsciousness,  and deep consciousness of your children.

7) Call your children by name and prophesy over them. (By that I mean declare/proclaim the good you desire to see, or manifest in and through them.

8) Declare that your children are the generation of those who have reverential fear of God, they have the concept of how much God loves them but hates sin.

10) Declare that your children will grow in the fruit of the Spirit, and the blessings of God that makes us rich without sorrows will abound to them.

11). Thank God for speedy answers to your prayers.

#33 Prayer Focus for Today: Divine Healings for Kidney Diseases.

Prayer Goals:

Receive God’s  intervention, to stop  further deterioration and 

for the restoration of health to your kidneys. 

The number of people I know who are on dialysis is so alarming! 

Is there something in our foods 🤔 that has made people more vulnerable to kidney diseases and diabetes?

If you are suffering from the aforementioned evils or know those who are suffering from the diseases, join us to pray 🙏🏽 for them and draw comfort from this Bible verse 

Bible Base: Jeremiah 32:27

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27 AMP

#Prayer4Today.

1). Thank you Father for being the Healer of all diseases, and the Lover of our souls.

2). We acknowledge that our present health condition is associated with our sinful habits, or a genetic disorder originating from parental choices. 

3). Whatever the causes,  we know that you are the forgiver of sins and the One who cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

4). In unity of faith, we present to You for supernatural healings,  genetic disorders, chronic kidney diseases, glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, kidney cancer, and alport syndrome.

5). We also ask for supernatural healings for diabetes,  inflamed or damaged kidneys, anemia, abnormal cholesterol levels, autoimmune diseases, and whatever else is malfunctioning due to the kidneys malfunctioning. 

6). We present to You our Father, the many who are having dialysis, and those who are asking you for new kidneys.  

7). We ask for Your interventions for renewal, healings, cleansing, and restoration of their kidneys, as well as for spiritual healings of their minds, cleansing of their emotions, and restoration of your righteous standards in their lives.

8). We stand against violence,  organ harvesting from innocent victims, and ask that the perpetrators of these evil acts be brought to justice, and their victims rescued.

9). We stand against all the forces of darkness behind infirmities, diseases, sicknesses, and especially those evil spirits influencing bad food supplies in our world. They are all to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ with all their evil relatives. 

10). Thank You Father for blessing our food and water supplies, and for taking away all sicknesses, diseases,  and illnesses from us.

11) Thank You Father for our food and drinks that brings nourishment to our bones and bodies, and for preserving our lives and protecting us from the destructive forces of evils in our world.

12) We praise You our God, we are honored to be called your children,  and are grateful that we are no longer subject to human genetic disorders,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

#32 Prayer Focus for Today: Affirming our Freedom & Divine Protection.

Prayer Goals:

1). To establish an understanding that God’s got our back in all things, despite all the things going wrong in our world. 

2). So that,  we will not live in fear, or confusion,  nor allow any -one/thing to subjugate us.

Bible Base: Psalm 91

In our world of today, so many stranger than fiction things are happening.  Evil seems to be prospering while the fear of God appears to be declining.

As a Christian, if you are not grounded in faith, and know the Word of God for yourself, you’ll be victimized by situation and circumstances of life.

“People perish for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)

In order not to be victimized by satan and his human agents, it is important to have an understanding of God’s worldviews, so  that you won’t believe the wrong things or make yourself  compliant with the world, and thus become an enemy of God.

[4] You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. James 4:4, NLT.

Read your Bible for it expresses God’s mind on how to live life here on earth.

Let Us Pray:

Father God. Thank you for being Faithful, immutable, dependable, and holy.

We are grateful for the fullness of your love to us all.

We appreciate your saving grace, provisions and protection over us and our families.

We affirm that you have made us the light  in our world that  darkness cannot comprehend. 

Thank you God for keeping us pure from the pollution and perversions in our world, and for helping us to stand strong in our faith.

We are more than conquerors, and you have made us overcomers in this life.

We affirm that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death.

Therefore, we shall not be corrupted by the satanic influences in the world

We are not afraid of terrors by night. Nor are we troubled by diseases, inflation, cuts in aids or social security,  for we know that you who watch over us neither slumber nor sleep. And you supply our needs according to your riches in glory.

In you God, we have our being, we know who you are and can never be subtly deceived to worship other gods, nor suffer the consequnces of disobedience in our world, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

#31 Prayer Focus for Today: Healings for Eye Problems and Conditions. 

Prayer Goals: 

Take a stand against blindness.

Bible Base: 3 John 1:2 AMPC

“ Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

One of my mistakes as a young Christian minister was religious pride- I thought I knew it all.

As a result, I suffered needlessly because I relied on my own understanding of God’s Word.

Do not make the mistake I made when I thought that there was no need to receive Divine Healings for an eye problem that glasses or something else helped with.

God wants you to enjoy good health the same way  He wants you to prosper. He is a healing God and you are the apple of his eye.

Healings are in the salvation package. Whatever state your eyes are, just know that God heals all diseases, illnesses or disorders. 

#PrayerPoints4Today:

*Thank God for eyes to see, and for the Stripes of Jesus Christ that brought healing to us. 

*Present your unbelief and doubts to Him, and thank Him for forgiveness of sins and cleansings from all unrighteousness.

*Talk to God about the state of your eyes,  the diagnoses and your expectations.

*Ask God to help your unbelief, and to prepare your heart to receive your Healings, in Jesus’s name. 

Let us Pray Together:

*Father God,  thank you for healing us by the Stripes of Jesus Christ.

*Thank you also for forgiving our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

*In unity of faith,  we declare that the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made us free from the law of sin and death. 

*We bring our eyes before you, and claim Healings from Retinal disorders, cataracts, light sensitivity, conjunctivitis, eyelid problems, glaucoma, corneal diseases, blurred vision, color blindness, dry eyes, lazy eye, cross eye…( add your condition) and whatever else are against our vision and blindness. 

*We believe that healing is ours in Christ Jesus,  and we hereby come against any evil spirits who are taking advantage of our neglect, and are frustrating our Healings. 

*We speak healings to all the areas of damage and disorders in our eyes and command them to normalize function. 

*I rebuke blindness and the evil spirits that are behind it, and command them and their relatives to leave our eyes and our health.

*I speak to your eyes to stop deteriorating and start manifesting divine healings. 

*Thank you Father for perfecting the healings Of our eyes.

*I pronounce you free from any form or blindness, or anything leading to blindness, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

#30 Prayer Focus for Today: Overcome Cyclical Disappointment.

Prayer Goals:

Become a visionary- so that your life will be marked by foresight and fulfilled expectations.

Bible Base: Proverbs 10:28.

Disappointment has  become a lifestyle of many because of how often their hopes have been deferred. Which had made them quit from expecting anything from life, and rather live by what life throws at them.

That is no way to live if you are a Christian.

 If you lose hope and embrace disappointment,  you will become sick! (Proverbs 13:12)

Hope is the anchor of our souls. When your hope is anchored in Christ Jesus, there is no limit to what you can achieve.

##PrayerPoints4Today:

1). Thank God for all the disappointments you have experienced in life … they box you in so that you can look up to God. 

2). Thank God for everyone who disappointed you, for none can say they made you!

3). Acknowledge how you depended on friends, family and associates,  to play God in your life,  instead of looking to God from whom all good comes.

4. Thank God for the speaking Blood of Jesus Christ that is speaking forgiveness, redemption, healings, deliverance, prosperity and General Wellbeing for you.

5. Affirm that your hope is anchored in Christ Jesus, who is the Lover of your soul, the WAY Maker, and the Promise keeper.

6. Command to disconnect from you right away, any dependence you have developed for people,  drugs, alcohol or anything else.

7. Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, all the evil spirits that influence disappointments, regrets, frustrating circumstances, stressing, error, with shortsightedness, tiredness,  hopelessness, anger, resentment, and their relatives.

8. Affirm that you have the Holy Spirit, and are blessed to see things from the Divine perspective.

9. Declare that you are a child of God, and His creative ability at work in you, enables you to call into existence the things that are not. (Romans 4:17)

10. Declare that you are a visionary and have foresight,  the eyes of your understanding have been enlightened, you understand the times, you know how to be effective in this world.

11. Declare that the circle of disappointment has stopped and your hope has been renewed. Hope does not disappoint. (Romans 5:5)

12 Affirm that  you have entered into an era of excellence, supernatural favors, unlimited goodness, and superabundant grace and expanded mercies.

13. Declare that your heart, finances, relationships,  body and bones are healed.

14  Declare  that you no longer depend on persons or things to give you joy, you have been set free, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Focus for Today: Healings for those with bone Issues.

Prayer Goals:

*Healings for all bone disorders and diseases,

*Deal with genetic issues. 

Greetings people of God. We do know that God heals all diseases, including hidden ones in the bones.  

In Acts chapter 3, is the story of the ‘lame man’ that John and Peter healed. And also in 2 Kings 20, is also the story of the healing of the broken arm of a soldier by the Prophet Elisha.

Perhaps you or someone you know has been diagnosed with bone disorders. 

Do not lose faith in God’s healing abilities. He is the Great Physician who heals all diseases, and that includes yours!

Hold Fast your confessions of faith. 

“AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity.” Matthew 10:1 AMPC

#PrayerPoints4Today:

1*Thank God for your salvation, and for his unending love for you. 

2*Affirm that Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the  law, and that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made you free from the law of sin and death.

3*Declare that you have been empowered and authorized to drive out evil spirits, heal all kinds of diseases, and weaknesses. 

4*Command to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ, all the evil spirits influencing osteoporosis, postmenopausal osteoporosis, osteomyelitis, osteogenesis imperfecta, osteoarthritis, fibrous dysplasia; including bone cancers and tumors, rickettsoRick, autoimmune condition, osteomalacia, systemic lupus,  rheumatoid arthritis and all related evils. 

5* Release healings to thigh bones, shin, ribs, skull, spine, pelvis, humerus, hips, knees, and hands.  Command them to start working at optimum best.

6* Speak strength to bones and command to stop right now whatever is causing the degradation of cartilage, bone pain, celiac disease, malabsorption,  bone metastases, osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma and related evils. 

7*Proclaim the commencement of normal bone remodeling process, and healings of fractures.

8* Declare that there shall no longer be bone tissue deaths or joint collapse, infections and Inflammation of the bone.

9*Thank God that we are victorious over all our health issues, and over the world, by our faith in Christ Jesus.

10. Thank God for the grace of intercession, for confirming our words and performing our counsel, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️.

Prayer Focus for Today: Christians who are Married to non Christians.

Prayer Goals:

*That the light of the Gospel will shine on them, and lead them both to Christ.

*That the zeal for God will fill them both.

*That their changed lifestyle will pilot similar transformation in others similarly by the spiritu

A while back, I attended a bi-religious wedding. The groom was Muslim and the bride was Christian. The bride’s parents were also Christian and  muslim

At the wedding, the muslim imam had his session, and the Christian pastor had his own too.  

I was invited by the ‘Christian’ parent.

Many of us Christians are so wimpy, ignorant, and compromised!

I was shocked to see how some ‘Christians’ joined in the Arabic incantations. 

The surprise was that these guests were hardcore leaders, in a Christian denomination that one of the  parents belonged to. They saw nothing wrong in making incantations that repeatedly praised their gods. 

And the Christian pastor of their denomination ministered the Word,  their ‘amiens’ sounded like an earthquake.

Here is what the Bible say about it in 2 Corinthians 6: 14-16

[14] Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? [15] What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? [16] What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said: “I will dwell among them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

2 Corinthians 6:16-16, AMP

People of God, it is a definite NO whether a Christian should marry a non Christian.

I know a few good Christian parents whose kids married non-Christians, and who are genuinely asking God to intervene, and bring back their children to Christ.

The record states that Solomon’s wives turned his heart away from God. (1 Kings 11:4)

Let’s intercede for all Christians who have fallen prey to satan’s deception in marriage.

#PrayerPoints4Today:

*Thank God for the anointing of intercession that is upon you. 

*Identify with them in repentance also and admit that we have sinned and done wickedly against God and the covenant of holiness.

* Rebuke the spirits of false religion, hinduism. Buddhism, Islamism, violence, error, confusion, disobedience and lust,  as well as the evil spirits influencing foolishness, backsliding, hardheartedness, spiritual blackmail, and rejection of Godly values:

*Command all the aforementioned evil spirits to go at once to the feet of Jesus Christ. 

*Pray in tongues if you have the gift. 

* Affirm that  the captives of the mighty have been taken away, and the prey of the terrible has been delivered:  for God is at work in them, bringing conviction and repentance from the status quo.

*Pray for the non believing partner to come to salvation in Christ Jesus.

*Thank God for the sanctification of their children, and declare that their children will grow up in the fear and knowledge of God.

*Release to them all, the grace of God that brings salvation and the grace to live as light and salt in this world, so that their lives will glorify God.

*Pray that peace of God will be upon all the parents who are agonizing of the marriage of their children to non Christians.

*Release to them the grace for effective intercession.

*My Prayer for those who prayed is that, they will enjoy the Grace of God in the life of their children, their children will turnout well, and they will always have help in time of need, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ ♥️

Prayer Focus for Today: Overcome Betrayal or Treachery. 

Prayer Goals:

*Exposure and restraining of the treacherous people in your life.

*Stop treachery and betrayals from trending in your life.

*Be surrounded with loyalists and not sycophants. 

Bible Base: Psalm 55: 12-14, Job 19:13-14,19

Sadly, betrayals never come from your enemies. 

Betrayal is disloyalty at its peak. Another word for betrayal is Treachery. The emotional hurts from betrayal is most often worse than physical pain. Hence, David cried about it in Psalm 41:9-10.

A treacherous person backstabs, betrays confidence, is hate-full, deceptive, disloyal,  throws friends under the bus, etc.

God hates treachery even among married people. Hence His Word says, 

“Let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.(Malachi 2,:14-I6)

In both the Old and New Testaments, acts of betrayals ended in the loss of life. 

Example 1: Ahitophel.

Ahitophel was King David’s trusted friend and cabinet minister, and grandfather of Bathsheba. 

Bathsheba was Uriah’s wife, with whom David committed adultery. David murdered  Uriah by proxy in order to hide the sin. 

Although It was a shameful thing to happen in that era, it by no means justified his later actions.  Even though Ahitophel resented David for it, Divine justice was served.

And when the opportunity arose to vent, Ahithophel sided with a rebellious son in order to avenge the scandal.

And he ended up dead with his own hands,  when his plans failed. 

Read it up in-  2 Samuel 25:32-37, 16:21-23. 17:1,14,23; 18:6-15. Psalm 41:9

Example 2: Judas Iscariot:

He was a trusted disciple of Jesus Christ,  who sold him out to the religious bigots.

And when the enormity of his betrayal hit Judas Iscariot, he took his life: just like Ahitophel before him.

Ahitophel and Judas Iscariot, personified betrayals. They were both trusted friends who sold out to the enemy ( See 2 Samuel 15:31, 17:1-4, Matthew 26:14-16; Luke 22:2-6).

And both of them ended up the same way- death by suicide ( See 2 Samuel 17:24, Matthew 27:5)

God abhors treachery:

* Because it makes people irreconcilable or unappeasable (Read 2 Timothy 3:4).

Peter denied Jesus Christ but was restored.

Thomas doubted Him but his faith was built up.

Can you tell me about what happened to Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ?

Part 2

Refuse to allow anger, bitterness, resentment. etc fester in you, it will produce treachery!

#PrayerPoints4Today:

1). Thank God for the lesson and the grace of repentance.

2. Do a soul search. If you have betrayed the confidences of people and sowed discord among them,  confess to God.

a). Affirm that you are forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness. 

b). Forgive all who ever betrayed you in life.

3. Ask God to expose, and restrain the treacherous people in your life. 

4. Thank God that He prepares a sumptuous meal for you, in the presence of your treacherous friends, and they are absolutely incapacitated and can no longer plot evil against you.

5. Affirm that the evil spirits influencing violence, deaths, disloyalty,  envy, jealousy, vengeance, revenge, unforgiveness and related evils, can no longer function in your world of influences. 

6. Affirm that the love of God poured into you, influences everyone in your world, for you are light and salt to the world.

7. Make that decision today, never to betray people, but rather, to motivate loving actions through them in Jesus Christ matchless name.
