To ‘renounce’ is to formally declare, reject, change position or beliefs .

In summary, Sexual Lust is resident evil in the Soul of fallen humanity.

We can overcome Sexual Lust with both prayer (spiritual warfare), and conscious actions, which will involve the positive use of volition (power of choice)

Job said, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman…”(Job 31:1)

Jesus Christ further explained why that lustful look is not wise. He says,

“But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)

Biblically, Sexual Lust is sinful action. And we know that sin results when we allow our own lust to draw and entice us. (See James 1:11-16)

The battle to overcome Sexual Lust must first be fought in the mind.

The decision to Renounce Sexual Lust indicates victory. Congratulations! The battle is won already. Let’s proceed to gather the spoils of war, and clean up.

Spiritual Warfare Prayer

I thank you ABBA Father for the grace of salvation and forgiveness of sins.

I acknowledge my sins of lust and other related evils and hereby repent of them.

I declare that sin no longer controls me for I am filled and led by the Holy Spirit.

My members are the members of Christ and I refuse them to be members of sexual sins and indiscretions.

The spirits of adultery, fornication, lust, perversion, incest, rape, illegitimacy , harlotry, polygamy, polyandry, pedophilia, witchcraft; as well as the unclean spirits of divorce, consecutive marriage fails, and all their relatives, leave my bloodline at once to the feet of Christ.

Let holy fire from God, consume and cleanse me of all lustful deposits in all the faculties of my Soul, Body, and Bloodline.

All ungodly soul ties with former lovers or sexual partners stand severed.

I refuse to be sexually assaulted, harrassed, violated, demonized etc, in my sleep/dream state.

I declare that I am untouchable and invincible to the forces of evil.

All bloodline covenants, pacts, agreements, etc with the forces of evils are nullified.

I am in a Bloodline covenant with Christ Jesus that supersede all covenants.

I am crucified with Christ and made alive in Him. And in Him I live, move and have my being.

I’m functioning in God’s purpose and in His perfect will always.

All the members of my body are subdued, and the Word of God richly dwells in me. I refuse to allow sin, satan and sexual lusts, any further liberties with me.

I am holy unto God. Having received the Spirit of Holiness, I walk in sexual purity and the God-kind of love.

My light shines in this world attracting others to the glory of God.

As salt of the earth, I add value to lives, healing, preserving, flavoring, preventing infections, and stabilizing them.

Most often, as you go about your legitimate businesses, you might unwittingly step on toes and offend control freaks, religious bigots, and some envious and jealous individuals.

It is written that, “it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” (See Matthew 18:7).

Whether you ignorantly or deliberately offend, offence gives others the right to vex, or cause trouble for you.

Because of the Fall of the Human race, (see Genesis 3) human nature is bias towards the negative. Thus, most people are unforgiving, vindictive, and manipulative.

As those you have unwittingly or deliberately offended, meditate on your supposed shaming of them, their evil thoughts, unites them to the mandate of satan. Which then enables them to seek ways to kill your joy and steal your happiness, in order to destroy you life.

Such individuals, who allow evil thoughts to take over their minds, become tools, which the devil uses against the righteous ones.

These bitter individuals are so full of anger, and are very toxic. They are easily identifiable by their witchcraft praying, and implacable mindedness.

One of the tittles of satan the devil, is accuser of the brethren. (See Revelation 12:10)

When people start bringing false charges against you, or cast aspersions on your honesty, know that satan and his forces of evil, are working in tandem with humans against you.

I say ‘false charges’ because, our sins have been imputed to Christ who is the propitiation for sins . (See Roman 3:24-25; 1Jonh 2:2; Hebrews 2:17; )

Although “in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed” (Hebrews 3:24-25); He now calls all Humans everywhere to repentance. (See Acts 17:30).

The forces of evil (both humans and evil spirits), can only line up charges against you, when there are unconfessed sins in your life.

It really doesn’t matter whether their allegations are unjust or not. People are destroyed by ignorance. You are responsible to not cause offences, and to apologise if you become aware.

God’s Word says we should try to live at peace with everyone, and to live an holy life, for without holiness, we cannot see God (see Hebrews 12:14).

Sin separates us from God, but repentance reunites us with Him.

Sin is the major router for demonization.

When an individual sins, it creates a security breach, which allows demons infiltrate, and cause trouble (demonize).

Let us now take action to terminate all negative actions, and destroy all legitimate or illegitimate structures, set up against us.

Deliverance Action:

1. Repentance and Confession: Anyone who covers sins will face adversities, but when the sins are confessed and abandoned, obtains mercy. (See Proverbs 28:13, and 1John 1:9)

Whether we are aware or ignorant of our sins, sin is lawlessness, and it’s against God.

a. Acknowledge you did wrong, and receive the forgiveness God gives, by believing in your heart that God is true to His Word in IJohn 1:9. Which states that, ‘He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’

b. Refuse to go on a guilt trip over sins you have confessed to God.

2. Use the Sword of the Spirit: which is the Word of God. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

Below are some Bible verses to meditate on, as you proceed to spiritually confront the accuser and his accomplices.

a. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:1-2)

b. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2)

c. Every tongue that rises in judgment against thee, thou shalt condemn (See Isaiah 54:17)

d. Thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same thing ( Romans 2:1)

e. Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. (see Romans 14:4)

Let the Word of God you have meditated upon, form the framework for your thinking, as you do spiritual warfare.

3. Enforce the Victory : use your mouth power -“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)

Boldly speak out the following:

a. l declare that all charges  brought against me by humans or evil spirits, at any realm of existences, are null and void. They are baseless, nameless, and useless.

b. I command to leave at once with their relatives, to the feet of Christ, all evil spirits assigned  to me and to everything that pertains or relates to me, due to the dissenting  voices and voices of accusations.

b. You are to also leave at once to the feet of Christ, those wicked spirits who influence misunderstandings, and misrepresentations by reversing my words, as well as those foul spirits, creating animosity,  vindictiveness, and wrath against me, and everything I represent.

c. I refuse to allow any further liberties, to all forms of witchcraft activities against us. Therefore, all resentments and projections of hatred, antangonism, and religious bigotry, against us, ceases to exist.

d. I release the fire of God, as a thunder bolt to consume tokens of worship, effigies, and the evil altars/places, where ungodly prayers, blood sacrifices, and various offerings, are presented for our sakes.

e. We mute all tongues of accusations, and refute all arguments: for we are in covenant with, and have been redeemed by the superior blood of Christ Jesus, that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.

f. Christ manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Therefore, all satanic networks that are working against us, and against the publishing of the Gospel on all platforms, should sync and align at once to the Great Commission.

g. I release the purifying  fire from God, to cleanse the hearts/minds of those that are turned against us. We conscripts them to partner with us, using all their resources, to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

h. I pray also, that the eyes of their understanding be enlightened , so that they can be full of God, see His greatness, and become agents of God, who will stand strong and open more effectual doors of ministry to us.

Affirmations:

My path is the path of the righteous, and i walk in the preordained pathways of victory, excellence, productivity, favors and longevity.

I am a city set on a hill, and cannot be hidden. I continually radiate the glory of God, who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light.

As salt of the earth, my life and everything I do, giveoff life, add value and preserve lives.

I am blessed without measures, and bear in my body,  the brand marks of Christ, and the seal of the Holy Spirit.

All the glory goes to God, who has made me fit for the His Kingdom, in Christ matchless name.

Dear friend in CHRIST, do not regret all your past painful experiences. They have made you a better person. 

Pains convert to praise with the right perspective. 

If you stop and think,  you will realize that  you are now more sensitive, understanding and  compassionate. 

More than before, you can now  sympathize  with those who are facing  challenges that are somewhat similar to those you have experienced.   Because you have been down that street before.

Be that as it may: but GOD’s ideal for us is that we should help others pass through the things HE helped us pass through.

God wants us to go beyond sympathy to empathy. 

The Bible in Hebrews 4:15 tells us that Jesus Christ our High priest is able to empathize with us because he passed through our experiences in every way. 

Because of your experiences you have the ability to empathize also with those who are struggling through what  you have passed through.
GOD wills that even though you sympathize with people’s sufferings,  you have to reach out to them in love also .  

He wants you to walk them through the process. 

Because sympathy and empathy are so close in meaning, it’s so easy to confuse them. 

Sympathy involves feeling pity and sorrow for someone else’s misfortune even if you have never had it happen to you.  

Empathy is the ability to understand as well as share the feelings of another person. 

Empathy is like wearing a person’s shoes and feeling the pain where it pinches. 

When you are empathetic towards others, you help them better. 

GOD desires that you comfort the afflicted and not condemn them. 
But rather unfortunately though we may feel pity for others, we are often so  quick to judge and condemn  them. 

But when  you empathize with others,  you will comfort and proffer solutions instead of being judgemental and condemning. 

It is to GOD’s glory that because of all I have suffered in life,  I now have online ministries through which we comfort the afflicted. 

But it was not always so. 

I had made lots of mistakes in life and suffered untold hardship because of  them. 

I lost lots of things including my self-esteem: I withdrew into myself, and could not really communicate effectively with others. 

But GOD comforted and healed me. He did  not condenm me.  Several times when I despised and abhorred   myself,  I heard  His loving voice say to me :

 ” Hephzibah,  I love you my princess: there is no charge against you: I don’t condenm you”. 

Those words changed my perspective and built my self esteem. 

And it’s now my life’s work to comfort others with the comfort I received from GOD.

Comforting others with the comfort that I received is an act of worship.  It is an acceptable service/offering to GOD my Comforter. 

Most of what I suffered could have been avoided if other Christians had intervened with Godly counsel. 

But no! Instead, they ‘Gossiped’ about me- behind my back of course!  And I was left to learn tough lessons from the school of hard knocks.

I fell into deep pits of depression several times but GOD’s grace brought me out.

 I learned from experience and as we know, experience is a bitter teacher! 

I got bitter, lonely and strongly desired to not repeat my mistakes.

But it was so time consuming and difficult to learn from mistakes: because most times, mistakes had to be repeated severally before the lessons even sunk in. 

 A little guidance or pointing in the right direction from another Christian would have helped me confront issues pragmatically.

That is saying that  if those who had treaded  the path I was taking had just given me a heads up, I would have made more progress.

 But then, they did not: instead they judged  and condemned me. 

The Church fathers of my time failed me- they were so legalistic and considered me a non-conformist and their religious bigotry drove me further into rebellion. 

My peers, friends and family failed as well – they all judged me by societal norms, traditions and their opinion of what was right/wrong. 

They all saw the problem but none proffered a solution. 

They only saw what I was doing wrong but they  never showed me how to stop! 

No counsel whatsoever! 

Instead, they all stood on their high horses and labelled me rebellious!

I lost my mother as a teenager and took on adult responsibilities while still a child myself; caring for my younger siblings. 

By 19, I was already an unwed mother, even as a ‘born again’ child of GOD!  

If only someone had cared enough to point out the pitfalls on the road  I was going!

I was distraught! I didn’t like me, but I did not know what to do about me!

But GOD showed up for me.

 HE helped me through HIS Word – HE illuminated them for me as I searched the scriptures.  

And later,  as I sought Him deeper, God  connected me with those who had been down my road. 

Gradually I began to find my way out of the labyrinth of confusion that my life was.

Take a minute to think. 
Are you a ‘comforter‘ or a ‘condemmer’?

Are you a ‘Gossipper‘ or a ‘Gospeller’? 

Do you give the afflicted the Good News of Jesus Christ,  or do you spread unsavory tales about them? 

There are lots of teenagers, homeless unwed mothers and troubled people around you. 

Have you represented the love of CHRIST to them by taking an interest in their lives?

 What about the elderly and the bereaved,  and those families that are having issues with their young and adult children?  

 Have you  been there –  hungry, homeless, jobless, sick: abandoned by friends and family?

I rejoice with you.  I was there and know what it feels like. 

Don’t let your experiences go to waste. Worship God with it. Offer it to God as a sacrifice of Thanksgiving  by reaching out to others facing similar challenges. 

That is the reason I do what I do. 

I give support and point people to a deeper relationship with Christ Jesus. 

 Please, for CHRIST sake, reach out to those who are now where you were before  God’s grace pulled you out! 

Tell them how you overcame!

Point them to the way out. 

Encourage and build up their faith. 

Share your testimonies. 

Until they understand your pain they can’t praise with you. 

Evil prevail when good people do nothing!

The Christian life is a life of  confrontation. Christians don’t chicken out.  The Christian is brave, and as bold as lion. 

Because we have faith in God, we are fearless. 

That is the reason  we can  prayerfully  confront issues in the life of others as well by pointing them to the solution in Christ Jesus. 

Christianity  is a life of selflessness. 

CHRIST went about doing good: so should we.  For as HE is, so are we  now in this world.

We cannot afford to be an idle bystander! 

To be effective in reaching our world for Christ, we must sympathize and empathize. 

We are to establish the Kingdom of GOD in our world.

 And doing that involves reaching out to people with the love of GOD; whether they are gays (single or married), or have had sex-change or whatever. 

Hate the sin but love the sinner. 

Christ demonstrated His love for us in that while we were still sinners, He died for us. 

It is not our business to see who they are ( Gay, addicts, exconvicts etc):  but who they can become in  Christ ( transformed, healed,  restored etc.). 

Christianity is a relationship with GOD and others through a daily faith-walk with CHRIST.

Our love for God is revealed in the way we treat others. 

How can you say you love God who you don’t see and yet hate your neighbors who you see daily? 

As a Christian, you have to communicate and relate with GOD and with others as well. 

You cannot isolate yourself from others nor can you lick your wounds in secret or hide yourself from the suffering of others. 

The Christian interferes, intervenes, and intercedes on the behalf of suffering humanity.

 You go where even angels fear to tread!

You poke your nose into people’s business! It’s all in a day’s work for you!  It is a high calling. 

It is also an act of deep gratitude to GOD when you reach out to others because of what CHRIST did for you and yours.

Be challenged/motivated today my friend to reach out to others with the comfort that CHRIST hath comforted you with. 

Be bold. Be brave: because  the Greater-one,  CHRIST JESUS lives in you. 

Be a COMFORTER and not a CONDEMNER. 

Only then can you have life in all its fullness. Shalom!

Let us Pray :

ABBA Father, thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies that are new every morning, else we would have exhausted them. 

We present our lives before you today and commit to living it for your glory. 

We are thankful for all our past painful and pleasant experiences. They have brought out your glory in us. 

We ask that you help us to be more empathetic toward  others.

 Push us out of our tepid state to be more outgoing and to burn with the fire of revival. 

We pray for the homeless people: use  us to provide shelter for them. 

Some of us have   empty rooms  in our homes that are wasting. Forgive us for wasting Kingdom resources. 

We surrender our homes to you for we are only stewards. 

Point us to how best to use our homes to expand the Kingdom. 

We lift up the distressed single /unwed moms to You.  Use us God to comfort and establish them in righteousness. 

We ask oh God to be used greatly to support the elderly,  the bereaved and to feed the  hungry: clothe the naked and to visit those in prison: to heal the  sick and deliver the oppressed and demonized. 

We know we can be all things to all men because as You are so are we now in this world.

We receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit to go about doing good as Christ did. 

We Affirm that from now we have the unction to function as your Oracles in this world,  in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amein.
