YOUR CHANGE IS COME

amazing-things-happenDear Sisters in CHRIST, your past may be a chronicle of wrong choices, rejection, abuses, disappointments and abandonment by the Fathers of your children. I am telling you today that “Your change is come”.GOD is faithful. HE will not allow you to go beyond your threshold of pain. HE knows your pain and can translate it to gain. You just have to make up your mind to go his way. Then HIS enabling grace will help you change your lifestyle and relationships.

GOD loves you. HE says in His Word that:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;

Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.

“Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! Again you will take up your tambourines,

And go forth to the dances of the merrymakers” (Jeremiah 31: 3; NASB)

You are the object of God’s love. HE promises to build your life up again. HE wants you to turn back to HIM and to turn back from pursuing your lovers. They end up hurting you as much as you lust after them.

GOD is love. In HIS love for you, HE gave you the ability to make choices. HE will not violate your free will.  You have the ability to make a choice today that would either transform or deform your life.

The right choice is for you to invite CHRIST into your life. For without Christ in your life, your life will be full of crises. But when you surrender your life to Christ, HE works in you both to will and to do of GOD’s good pleasure.

You can do yourself a world of good today by asking GOD to help you and deliver you from yourself.

Our greatest enemy is the “self”. It is a misconception to think that the devil is our greatest foe. Of course he is an unrelenting foe, but he is already defeated. It is CHRIST who leads us in triumph over him.

But with the self as the enemy, the battle rests with us. The onus is on the Believer to ‘mortify’ the deeds of the human sinful nature.

The Bible puts it this way:

“We have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:12, 13; BSB)

In order to live life according to GOD’s design, we die to the self.

But if the self is allowed to rule us by our emotions, death would be calling out to us.

I was once in that exact place. I was so full of me, mine and myself. So much so that I even contemplated suicide.

But GOD’s mercy kept me from taking my life.

My life was one big shame, disgrace, hurts pains and abuses. I lost my self-esteem and self-worth. I was ridiculed, misunderstood, rejected, and abandoned. I became hopeless, homeless, jobless, sick and hungry. I was a single parent and full of self-pity. Eventually, I was all alone. Nothing and no one was there for me. But for GOD’s love, I would have been completely lost.

GOD’s love kept me. His voice became the only voice I heard. That downward trend would have continued. But GOD the Holy Spirit made me realize that my life was going south.  It was then and I cried out to GOD for help. I reached out for His loving arms and HE wrapped it round me. HE holds me in His warm embrace. HE promised to be with me till the end of the age. And He did keep His promises.

Wherever you are at, The All-Loving God is reaching out to you as HE did to me.

I was in a terrible state but GOD mercifully intervened and put my life back on course.

Sisters and you who is reading this today, GOD is not finished with you. He loves you and is looking out for the opportunity to turn your life around. All you need do is call out to HIM. Invite Him into your situation. And He will answer you speedily.

HE says in HIS Word through Isaiah that:

“In returning and rest you shall be saved: In quietness and confidence shall be your strength” (Isaiah 30: 15).

To return to GOD involves repentance.

True repentance means that you have to turn around from the way you think, feel and act and begin to go GOD’s way. You begin to think, feel and act in accordance with GOD’s standard. Only then will you find rest for your soul.

Your strength to go on in life will be restored when your focus is GOD and not the self, people or things.

Humans are incapable of meeting your spiritual, emotional, financial or physical needs. Only GOD can. It is true that God designed our sexual needs to be met by the opposite sex. But then, if seek to fulfil our sexual desires outside of marriage, it most often results in hurts and disappointments.

To continue to pursue the love of humans or things is to court disaster. Most often it pushes towards risky and promiscuous behavior such as prostitution, drug doing and drinking of liquor. And if not quickly confronted, it would necessitate the doing of things totally out of character and outside the perimeter of our value system in order to be held in the warmth and acceptance of another, no matter how dysfunctional the circumstances might be. And the end of it all would be suicide or death from other means.

That is not the way dear friends.

JESUS is the way out of the hurts, pains, rejection, disappointment, abuses, homelessness, economic hardship, emotional torment, sicknesses and diseases.

I am a living testimony that in CHRIST JESUS, rejection becomes acceptance; disgrace translates to more grace; frustration becomes fulfillment; abandonment become appreciation, shame become fame, etc.

Jesus Christ turned my life around. HE turned my mourning into dancing and lifted my sorrows. HE restored hope in me. He poured out HIS love into my heart and I stopped hating. HE will do same for you.

CHRIST JESUS also transforms personality. A nympho/pervert gets healed to become a care giver. A condemned prisoner converts and becomes a prisoner of hope. A murderer becomes a missionary. A prostitute stands the chance of becoming a proclaimer of the Gospel.

There is no end to how far the Love of GOD would go to build up lives once HE is put into the picture.

I speak over you now:

I proclaim that your life is being  built up to glorify GOD.  You will greatly rejoice in God for He will cover you with His robe of righteousness just as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Your Change is come. You will sing a new song my friend. I declare that those who hated you will be attracted to HIS glory in your life. You will be radiant. You have become a burning and a shining light in your generation, in CHRIST loving name.

Read what GOD’s Word is saying to you:

 “Therefore, the LORD will wait, that HE may be gracious to you; Therefore HE will be exalted, that HE may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a GOD of justice. Blessed are those who wait for HIM” (Isaiah 30:18)

GOD will not violate your freewill, so invite HIM into your life today. He wants to be gracious to you. He wants to convert your disgrace to great grace. People treated you mercilessly. Perhaps like me you were physically, emotionally and sexually violated.

GOD wants to surround you with mercy. His mercy will shield you from mean and worthless people who want to prey on your loving nature. Exalt HIM today by inviting HIM to takeover and make-over your life.

GOD bless you and speedily intervene in your life, in CHRIST matchless name.

BEWARE GHOSTS ARE DEMONS IN DISGUISE

“There shall not be found among you … one that useth divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or one that consulteth a ghost or a familiar spirit, or a necromancer. For whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto the LORD” (See Deut.18:10-12; JPS Tanakh 1917).

Ghosts are demon spirits who are familiar with a particular environment or family. Because they have been in that family or environment far longer than even the humans, they are ‘familiar’ with the history of the family and the environment as well, and so are able to mimic the person(s) they disguise/masquerade as.

Do not be ignorant of satan’s devices nor allow yourself to be taken in by his lies.“People are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)

What you fear will always torment you but what you confront will disappear.

Stop listening to lies from the pit of hell that those ghosts haunting your house are your dead relatives. Instead of further compounding your problems by going to mediums, seek out the truth about your issues from the Word of God.

satan takes advantage of people’s ignorance in order to victimize them. Refuse to be preyed upon. You have the victory in Christ Jesus already. He gave you the power over the forces of evil.

God’s Word says,

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” (See Luke 10:19)

Confront the demons behind the ghosts and command them to leave at once.

You have to understand and realize that, “Every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith” (See 1 John 5:4).

Satan runs a parallel government against God, which is known as the “kingdom of darkness” (See Colossians 1:13)

Even though satan is wise, he is not the Omniscient that God is. Therefore, he counterfeits everything in the kingdom of God in order to deceive the saints into false worship.

One of such counterfeit is the ‘unholy ghosts’ which is a cheap imitation of God’s Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, as some interpreters have it.

satan’s demon spirits masquerade as ghosts (unholy ghosts) in order to torment, oppress, intimidate, manipulate and control humans; as a means of accomplishing his mission to “to steal, kill and destroy” them (See John 10:10).

It will be helpful for you to understand that demons are bodiless evil spirits. Because of their affinity with humans, they seek to possess the human body where possible, or live in close proximity to humans when possession is not possible.

That is why as unholy ghosts and the devil’s agents on assignment, they haunt either abandoned or inhabited homes as well as other places where humans visit or congregate.

The Bible warns us to:

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour” (See 1 Peter 5:8).

We are to “Stand firm against him, and be strong in our faith” (See 1 Peter 5:9).

People suffer unnecessarily because of ignorance. satan takes advantage of people’s ignorance to torment, oppress, possess, depress, control, intimidate, and manipulate them.

But when you know and understand that the devil is at the back of every evil, you would stand firm against him with your shield of faith, to confront and unmask him in defeat.

WARFARE PRAYER:

ABBA Dad, thank You for the gift of your Holy Spirit who lives in us and works with us.

We plead the speaking blood of Christ over our homes and stand against the forces of evil that are intruding into our lives and homes.

We confess as sin disobedience, the bringing in of cursed objects into our homes, occult involvement such as consulting with mediums, channellers, diviners, and necromancers. As well as other related sinful activities.

We know that you are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from every unrighteousness, in accordance with your Word. (See John 1:9)

We ask Fatherc that you conduct a search and point us to any object(s) or person(s) who links these foul spirits to us.

We sever our ties to all such objects and persons and reaffirm our faith in you our God and Father.

We command all evil spirits to get off our lives and property now to the feet if Christ, and never come back under any guise or disguise; to torment, oppress, depress,intimidate, vex manipulate, control or obsess us.

We are God’s Children and have no communion with satan and the forces of evil. We refuse to give liberties to satan in our world.

Our homes belong to God and by this prayer we consecrate everything we are and own to the Almighty God in CHRIST name.

We are holy unto God and therefore nothing unholy can come near us.

Thank You ABBA Dad for perfecting all that concerns us and setting us apart for Your use, in Christ’s name we pray, Amein.

UNFORGIVENESS

forgiveness not always easy

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” (Colossians 3:13; NLT.)

I can remember how much I struggled with unforgiveness. People had hurt me so much. Many took advantage of my kindheartedness. A great number repaid me evil for all the good I had done them. There was no one there for me when I needed support. They were all judging and condemning for all my mistakes. But when they made theirs, I was there for them.

I was hurting so badly I got sick. The bitterness in the inside of me was corrosive. It was eating me up. I lost focus of my goals and concentrated on my hurts. You guessed it. Things got worse!

Does that sound familiar?

Unforgiveness is the holding of a grudge against somebody.

“And to hold a grudge is to have a strong feeling of anger and dislike for a person who you feel has treated you badly”

Forgiveness is a Divine Command. But alas! Many of us Christians struggle with the inability to forgive others. Forgiveness is a grace from GOD. And the grace that GOD has freely given to us we must learn to extend to others.

Unforgiveness is at the root cause of major psychosomatic disorders. Plainly put, Unforgiveness makes one sick spiritually, psychologically and physically.

A person who harbors unforgiveness cannot enjoy the grace of forgiveness from GOD. When a person goes about bristling with anger and resentment, others will keep off as well.

Unforgiveness is counterproductive for it hurts the unforgiving: It restricts them from receiving GOD’s forgiveness. And without GOD’s forgiveness, they will collapse under the weight of their own sins. Sin apart from being destructive, is the major open-door for demon activity.

GOD says in HIS Word that:

“… If you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Matthew 6:14, 15).

Forgiveness attracts forgiveness, while unforgiveness attracts unforgiveness.

In John 8:1-11 is the story of the woman caught in adultery. Her accusers caught her in the very act and dragged her to CHRIST. There was no question about it. The lady was guilty as charged. But then, the only difference between her and her accusers was that they sinned different. But they conveniently forgot their own sins and persisted she be judged according to the law.

But CHRIST the Righteous Judge had to make them look inwards before judging her. So HE said to them: “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”(John 8:7). After proper self-evaluation, her accusers realized they were no better than her: “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD” (Romans 3:23). And so they slipped away and left her alone with CHRIST the Redeemer and forgiver of all sins. CHRIST forgave, set her free and told her to sin no more. Glory is to GOD!

Unforgiveness is a defense mechanism a Christian should never have. It is alien to Christianity.

Dictionary.com defines Defense Mechanism (n.) as : “any of a variety of usually unconscious mental processes used to protect oneself from shame, anxiety, loss of self-esteem, conflict, or other unacceptable feelings or thoughts, and including behaviors such as repression, projection, denial, and rationalization”

The Unforgiving Christian is a selfish and self-centered person who is full of crap. And who refuses to confront issues but hides behind the faults of others in a bid to hide their own identity issues.

Basically, unforgiveness points to a lack of spiritual self-esteem.

When you know who you are in CHRIST, the grace that you have received by virtue of your relationship with CHRIST, you can never be unforgiving.

In chapter 18 of Matthew’s gospel is the story of the king who while updating his account discovered a debtor with a huge debt. And when he couldn’t settle his debts, the king ordered him, his wife, kids and all his properties sold to offset his debt. But when the debtor pleaded for an extended period of grace to pay up his debt; the king, filled with pity, not only signed his release, but forgave him his debt.

You would think that having enjoyed such an amazing grace, the debtor would be gracious to his debtors as well. But rather unfortunately he was not gracious at all. He was his old vindictive and vengeful self.

When the forgiven debtor left the kings’ presence, he went to a man who owed about a fraction of what he had owed the king. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded immediate payment. But of course, that was unrealistic. If the man could, he would have paid up his debt before then. Even though he pleaded for a period of grace to enable him pay, his creditor would have none of that! Instead, he had the man arrested and jailed until the debt would be repaid!

Heartless! You might say, but rather unfortunately, most unregenerate humans are like that. And we as Believers should never be like that ever again.

That is not the end of the story. The man’s friends went to the king and rehearsed what had happened to him. You can imagine how anger would have welled up in the king. He sent for the inconsiderate and wicked fella whom he had forgiven and said to him:

“You evil – hearted wretch! Here I forgave you all that tremendous debt, just because you asked me to — shouldn’t you have mercy on others, just as I had mercy on you?’ “Then the angry king sent the man to the torture chamber until he had paid every last penny due. So shall my heavenly Father do to you if you refuse to truly forgive your brothers” (Matthew 18:32-35; TLB).

Unforgiveness begets unforgiveness.

The Bible is very emphatic about ‘seed-time and harvest’ (Genesis 8:22). The principle runs through the Bible. And it is the Principle of ‘sowing and reaping’ which states that: “You reap what you sow”.

In Galatians 6, GOD says to us:

“You should not be misled. Remember that you can’t ignore GOD and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow! Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires, will harvest the consequences of decay and death. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit” (Galatians 6:7-8; NLT).

There is no running away from it. If you do no

t forgive, you won’t be forgiven as well. The Principle of Forgiveness requires that “you forgive others for as many times as they wrong you” (Matthew 18:21, 22.) Because if you don’t, the devil will take advantage of the resident evil that unforgiveness is, to torment, oppress, intimidate and frustrate your Divine destiny. In addition, to the above, unforgiveness facilitates psychosomatic disorders.

Medical science has connected some sicknesses to the state of the mind. It points to how the thought life affects the functions of the body causing it to malfunction. Biblically, we are told that “a person is what he/she thinks” (Proverbs 23:7)

Unforgiveness is a mental attitude sin; it is an ego and self-righteous, vindictive state of mind which is self-destructive for those who harbor it. Unforgiveness is an evil mindset that should be reset to reflect our relationship with CHRIST.

Although a mindset is said to be “a set of attitudes or fixed ideas that somebody has and that are often difficult to change”, the WORD of GOD is dynamo! And is capable of changing the worst mindset there ever is. But for the Word of GOD to change any mindset, the WORD has to richly dwell in the heart by faith first.

When GOD’s word is studied, ingested, and metabolized, its effect would become evident in our interpersonal relationships and other aspects of our life.

In order to fight against and overcome the mind that is set at unforgiveness, you would need to change your perspective and perception by correctly applying GOD’s Word which is Truth.

From a Biblical perspective, forgiveness is actually to your advantage whereas; unforgiveness places you at a disadvantage.

A close study of Matthew 18:34-35 and 2 Corinthians 2:10, 11 would reveal to you the following:

  1. Unforgiveness nullifies your own forgiveness; and deactivates your Divine immunity;
  2. Makes you culpable thus enabling the prosecution to reopen the charges against you;
  3. It gives the devil and the forces of evil access to your life;
  4. And makes you the target of tormenting demon spirits.

Unforgiveness is resident evil that should be evicted right now.

The dilemma of the Christian should not be whether to forgive but HOW TO FORGIVE

LIES SATAN MANIPULATE MARRIAGES WITH

  1. marriage fightI just don’t love my spouse anymore:

Love is not a feeling – It’s a choice and the act of the will. The complementary action proves it The choice to love or not to love is yours to make. Be intentional. Love your spouse. Love never dies. Love is eternal for GOD is love. And as HE is so are we in this world. Love like GOD.

  1. My spouse has never met my needs and never will:

Love is selfless. Have you stopped to think whether you are meeting your spouse’s needs as well? Problem arises when we place our spouse on a pedestal where GOD should be. Only GOD can meet all our needs. The spouse can only to that which he/she can because of the human limitations. Those who look to GOD as their SOURCE and RESOURCE never lack any good thing. Refocus on GOD

  1. We fight so much, and it would be better for the children if we end this marriage:

According to Scriptures; Conflicts and quarrels come from the passion at war within you. (James 4:1) Divorce is not the solution for marital conflicts, for it creates even more problems especially for the children. Go for counselling and be intentional in changing for the better. Learn healthy conflict resolution skills. Manage your differences and deal with each other in love. Don’t give up on your marriage. Fight for it. You have war against the forces of evil that are trying to break up your marriage and destabilize your kids’ life. Your spouse is not the enemy. He/she might just be the weak link the devil is using to get at you. Pray for your spouse. Prophesy into his/her life. Seek peace and pursue it earnestly.

  1. I have fallen in love with someone else:

To fall is to have an accident, and accidents can be fatal. The devil is out to kill your joy, steal your happiness and destroy your marriage. The other person you have fallen for is a mirage against your marriage. Be wise my friend. Do not be ignorant of the devil’s devices. It’s a demonic entrapment to enable you commit adultery. Bible says: The one who commits adultery lacks sense; (Proverbs 6: 32.) And by Biblical definition, ‘Adultery also involves a lustful look by a married person’ (Matthew 5:28). Marriage is a covenant and not a convenient arrangement. Ask GOD to help you Work at making your marriage work and to resist the mirage.

  1. I have worked at fixing my marriage but it’s just not working:

The point here is this: “It does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on GOD’s mercy” (Romans 9:16). Marriage was instituted by GOD. You need GOD every step of the way to keep your marriage going. Bring GOD back into your marriage by acknowledging HIM in all your ways; and HE will direct your path. Stop trying to do it by yourself ask GOD’s mercy for your marriage.

  1. It’s been so long since I have had any joy in this marriage and It’s never going to get better:

Joy is an attitude – a mindset. Joy is something you have within you. Joy, from a Biblical perspective, is a fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Nearly all marriages have a dull season when it appears that your love for each other has waxed cold. The truth is have both been caught up with other things and cut each other out. Now there is a longing in you to recapture the romance and excitement you once felt for your spouse. It is a legitimate desire. Only do not allow the devil pervert it by turning it into something sinister. With love and understanding you will both weather this storm together. Discuss this feeling with your spouse. Both of you work out how to spend more time together in play, in prayer, in date nights etc. The joy of the LORD is your strength. As wine matures it tastes better. Your marriage gets better, in CHRIST’s name.

  1. I’m not sexually attracted to my spouse anymore:

Some of the most likely factors that may have contributed to your present state, could be the result of: Negative feelings, declining hormones(women), job stress, peer pressure; relationship issues, medication; age; menopause, erectile dysfunction (men); etc. Seek medical , psychological as well as Christian spiritual therapy. Go for deliverance to deal with the spirits of frigidity and aversion for marital sex. Deal with anger, resentment and unforgiveness. These places barriers in relationships. You will get past this and come out better in CHRIST’s name.

  1. We both have changed, We are two different people. It can’t work.:

But of course! Change is constant. Learn to appreciate and value your differences. Adapt to the change in your spouse. Be more accommodating. Find a common ground and start there. GOD created woman and man to be different to balance each other out. Differences in personality or in likes and dislikes should enhance rather than destroy your marriage.

  1. My spouse has broken my trust; I can’t trust him/her again:

You need to forgive and to move on. When you know a person’s area of weakness, you work above it and don’t let it get to you. Bible says to trust the LORD with all of your heart, and not to lean on your own understanding. The husband is to love his wife, while the wife is to submit to her husband. To trust any human being is to misplace trust. GOD says in HIS Word that “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength and whose heart turns from GOD” (Jeremiah 17:5). Learn to trust in GOD.

  1. I’m so confused. I don’t know what God’s will is concerning my marriage: GOD has given you the spirit of love, power and of sound mind. Confusion is not from GOD. Cast out the spirit of confusion. Renew your mind by reading the Word of God. Ask GOD for more grace and wisdom in your marriage. The Bible is GOD’s will that is written for us. GOD’s will is that marriage should model the Love of the GOD head. You will enjoy your marriage and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, in CHRIST’s matchless name.

Your marriage is blessed. More grace, wisdom, understanding, love, peace and harmony are released to you and your spouse. Your marriage shall model the relationship between GOD and CHRIST and CHRIST with HIS Bride, the CHURCH; in CHRIST loving name. Amein. Hephzibah Christly

COUNTER BAD DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES

dark times HE is there“It came to me in a disturbing vision at night, when people are in a deep sleep” (Job 4:13; NLT)

I remember very vividly a while back how  I had a very nasty dream. In that dream, I saw some people trying to snatch away one of my children. I sprang into a ‘Bruce Lee’ kind of action, jumping and kicking in order to rescue the child. I woke up when my feet hit the hard wall of my room. I immediately confronted the issue at the place of prayers.

Through that dream, GOD showed me what the enemy was planning against me and I was able to avert it through prayer. The Bible says: “HE speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. (Job 33:15: NLT)”

Dreams can either come from the positive supernatural or negative supernatural realms. From wherever it comes, a dream is an activity that the human spirit or soul saw happen in the supernatural world. It is just like viewing a film or video that other people have acted out.

Because the spiritual controls the physical, if what was viewed in the spirit realm is not addressed in the physical realm: There is a hundred percent chance that it would occur as seen with some slight variations.

Since “all good and perfect gifts comes from GOD”; it follows then that good dreams originate from GOD whereas bad dreams are from the devil.

GOD speaks to us through good dreams in order to encourage, give directions, expose or reveal certain mysteries in answer to prayer, warn us, etc.

Through bad dreams the devil aims at terrorizing people. He projects evil into people by it. This is how it works. When people have bad dreams, they go about seeking interpretation. And in the process, they get caught in Satan’s web of lies. In trying to solve a problem they add to it because some of the interpretations would send them running to occultist or other agents of Satan for solutions. And so the vicious circle begins.

The dream then becomes a nightmarish experience.

“A nightmare is a dream occurring during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep that results in feelings of strong terror, fear, distress or extreme anxiety. This phenomenon tends to occur in the latter part of the night and oftentimes awakens the sleeper, who is likely to recall the content of the dream.” (Nightmares | Psychology Today)”

I once had a nightmare. In this dream, I saw a very short transgender demon who called him/herself the ‘queen of the Niger’.  She had an arrow ready to shoot and she was laughing hysterically. With hair all over the place and blazing eyes, she told me she had struck my daughter Elizabeth dead. I jumped up from that sleep-state and launched out into spiritual warfare. It was at a season that my prayer teams were on red alert and we were engaging in nightly warfare battles. I had that very bad dream shortly before it was prayer time.

The battle raged all night. We prayed all manner of prayers.

By morning, when I phoned, it was a strange voice that answered my daughter’s phone. My daughter had just graduated from the university and was doing the mandatory Youth Service in Umuahia. It was one of her fellow Youth-Corper who answered her phone. He calmly explained that she was unconscious and was in a Federal Health Facility. This was way back in 2005.

Long story short: We battled the enemy in prayer, we prayed all forms of prayers and eventually, she was transferred to Lagos where she had major surgery to remove a blockage in her upper alimentary carnal. The battle lasted for over 5months.

We spent over 40 days on addmissions at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital pre and post-surgery days included. For over 3 months she was on intravenous fluids etc. She had to be build up for the surgery. The very morning of the slated surgery, the chief anesthetist said he would not approve it because of her vitals.

But the surgeon, who was a Christian Doctor, had earlier explained the procedure to me and we had agreed in faith that GOD heals through surgical procedures as well. All the doctors on his team were Christian ministers, they held hands prayed and wheeled her inside.

To GOD is all the glory. The surgery was successful. She is now married with 2 kids and has been one of my best support networks.

The point am making here is this:

No matter how scary the dream; no matter the hierarchy of the forces of evil involved in the projection of the dream or nightmare; in CHRIST JESUS, we have the victory.

Imagine the scenario if I had gone looking for interpreters! She would have died! The devil came after me by hurting my child and I went after him in the name that is exalted above all other names. The Name JESUS CHRIST: at the mention of which things in heaven, on earth, or under the earth must bow and confess JESUS IS LORD.

I went into battle with the determination of a lioness to the rescue of her cubs. I did not pursue shadows.

Dear friend, do not seek help where there is none. Run to the battle in the Mighty name of JESUS CHRIST and the battle will turn in your favor.

Dream or Nightmares: “… we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28; NLT)

My Prayer for You:

Your enemies will serve you. All the forces of evil behind the bad dreams and nightmares you have been having are hereby made impotent and disconnected from your dream state.

Every evil that has been dramatized in the negative supernatural and projected into your reality is negated.

You are covered by the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. You have been made invincible to the forces of evil. A hedge of fire surrounds you to protect you as well as consume any marauding agent of the devil sent against you.

As they gather against you, they scatter for your sake. You family will no longer be the weak link the devil uses against you.

The tormenting dreams have ended. The witchcraft projections have stopped now. GOD who gives HIS beloved sleep gives you sweet sleep.

The plans of the enemies are exposed and you will act in faith and not in fear. The grace to interpret dreams is released upon you. You are victorious, in CHRIST matchless name. Amein. Hephzibah Christly.

BECOME A PROPHETIC PRAYER WARRIOR

prophetic word no disasterProphetic praying is the declaring of GOD’s mind over any given situation. It involves forth-telling in sync with Divine purpose. And the superimposing of GOD’s perfect will in that situation. Prophetic praying in spiritual warfare is the main deal.

I recently met this warrior lady Marcella Watkins on our Facebook page “Spiritual Warfare And Tactics Squad-SWATS”; and her zeal for GOD is oh so infectious. She is born again and spirit-filled. And she asked: ‘How can I become a prayer warrior?‘
Here is what I said to her and I am saying to you as well.

Pray for people prophetically – speak GOD’s Word into their lives. The Bible states that “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20; KJV).

GOD and HIS Word is one. Since GOD is ‘All-powerful’ it follows therefore that HIS Word is ‘All-powerful’: And when released, it is dynamic in working. You must realize that it is GOD “who confirms the word of HIS servant and fulfils the counsel of his messengers” (Isaiah 44:26). It is HIS zeal who watches over HIS Word to perform it and not your screams, vehemence, stuttering or shakings.

Therefore, you must focus on GOD while praying in the Spirit until GOD’s Word drops into your mind. Only then should you prophesy into the situation by praying with the understanding.

The Prophetic Prayer warrior has his or her finger on the pulse of GOD and flows with HIS heartbeat.

Be compassionate: Have a heart that is not judgmental but full of compassion. For as it is written: “Therefore, as elect of GOD, holy and beloved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Colossians 3:12; Berean Study Bible.)

The HOLY SPIRIT is our Senior Prayer Partner. HE makes Intercession for us. And when HE takes the lead when you are in ‘prophetic warfare mode’; you may sometimes have a strong urge to laugh, cry, stomp your feet, shout, shake, etc. Do not be alarmed. And do not resist it. Just let it flow. It is a manifestation indicating that GOD is working and speaking through you.

Manifestations while in prayer are a prophetic action which shows GOD’s perspective of that situation; as well as a declaration of HIS desired outcome. Your responsibility is to obey and do as is required.

Study the Holy Bible: The more of GOD’s Word you have in the inside of you, the more of the Word you become and release. When you are full of GOD’s Word, springs of living waters will flow out of you: People will get delivered, healed, saved etc. Godly-counsel will prevail over worldly living. Therefore, “Make every effort to present yourself approved to GOD, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the Word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:12; BSB.)

Forgive easily. Accept the apology you never received. Never ever bear a grudge. Unforgiveness will make you a casualty for the forces of evil will take advantage of it to access and outwit you. Therefore, “Bear with each other and forgive any complaint you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:12; Berean Study Bible) Study 2 Corinthians 2:11 as well.

Ask forgiveness quickly. Don’t let sins fester. “He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion. How blessed is the man who fears always, But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.” (Proverbs 28:13-14; NASB.)

Because Sin is basically against GOD we should ask forgiveness from HIM first and then apologise to those we hurt with our words and actions. For as scripture says:  “If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9.)

Pray always in the Spirit and in the understanding: No radio silence ever with the Throne-room. Be in constant communication with ABBA FATHER. Talk always with GOD – bare your heart to HIM and learn to listen and wait for HIM. (Study Jude 1:20; I Corinthians 14:14, 15; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18)

Be yielded: Yield your members to the HOLY SPIRIT. Be led by the Holy Spirit and not by the prevailing circumstances. Say only what you are led to say and not what the people want to hear.

GOD’s Word is in your mouth. Declare it boldly. It is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is also like a crushing hammer and consuming fire. When you are yielded, the power of GOD flows through you to transform lives and change destinies. You are a vessel unto honor. (Study Romans 6:12-14; 8:14; Hebrews 4:12)

Fixate on GOD: The Psalmist said “I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will dwell securely.” (Psalm 16:8, 9; BSB) Never ever see anything else but GOD – fixate on GOD’s personality, HIS DIVINE Essence. See HIS love, faithfulness, trustworthiness, greatness, etc. with that, nothing can get you scared! Your heart and head will swell. Demons would seem like grasshoppers to you. You will be full of praises for GOD and will not feel insecure at all!.

Do not be demon conscious but be GOD-conscious. Remember, spiritual warfare is a done deal. The devil is a defeated foe. Our responsibility is to enforce the victory of the Cross.

Conclusion “…thanks be to GOD, who always leads us triumphantly in CHRIST and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of HIM. 1For we are to God the sweet aroma of CHRIST among those who are being saved and those who are perishing” (2 Corinthians 2:14, 15)

DREAM-STATE SPIRITUAL COMBAT

evil Several times when you are engaged in intense spiritual combat, the forces of evil would try to take advantage of your body’s need of sleep to launch an attack against you in your sleep-state. These evil spirits forget that you have an EVER-PRESENT HELPER- The HOLY SPIRIT.
When the human Body sleeps, the human Soul and Spirit remains active.
Even in the sleep-state, your spirit and soul can engage in spiritual combat. However, it is the state of your spirit and soul that would determine whether you will wake up the victim or the victor in that spiritual combat.
In order to help you understand this further, I would need to give some foundational explanations:
* The Human Being has three levels of consciousness which are:
a. GOD-consciousness;
b. Self-consciousness;
c. World-consciousness.
This is so because “MAN” is spirit, has a soul and lives in a body.
The ‘spirit realm’ comprises of the positive supernatural and the negative supernatural worlds.
The Human Being as spirit is thus able to interact with the spirit world – whether it is the negative or positive supernatural.
The positive supernatural is the Kingdom of Light where JESUS CHRIST is SOVEREIGN and where He rules with love.
The negative supernatural is the kingdom of darkness where Satan the devil rules with the fear of death.
According to Scripture, “Perfect love cast out fear” (See 1 John 4:18).
When your love of GOD is perfected, you have no need to fear the forces of evil.
GOD in HIS infinite wisdom forbids HIS “called-out ones” from interacting with the forces of evil and their human agents.
It says in the Scriptures that:
“There shall not be found among you anyone…, who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritists, or one who calls up the dead” (See Deuteronomy 18:10:11). 
Because,
“…You will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God” (See Leviticus 19:21b).
GOD states also in HIS Word what will happen to the one who violates HIS restrictions in respect of interacting with the negative supernatural thus:
“I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people” (See Leviticus 20:6).
Dear friends, there is ongoing battle between the forces of light and the forces of darkness for the souls of Humans.
The battleground for that ongoing spiritual combat is the mind.
The mind is the seat of the soul and can become the fountain head of all evil if it is not cleansed with the purifying and transforming Word of GOD.
At creation, GOD formed the Human Being from the dust of the earth. The  Human body was animated when GOD gave the breath of life to it. And “MAN became a living soul” (See Genesis 2:7).
The Human body came from the ‘dust’ of the earth, while the “life/spirit” came from GOD. The soul came into existence when GOD’s life impacted with the ‘body’.
The soul is our self-awareness or self-consciousness
The ‘spirit’ in “MAN’ died when Adam our first parent sinned by choice.
The human spirit is recreated when a person accepts JESUS CHRIST as SAVIOR.
Then the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD takes up residence in that person. When the Holy Spirit is ‘received’ the person is guided into all truths as well.
The “born again” child of GOD has 2 spirits which are; the spirit in man and the Holy Spirit of GOD. The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the innermost parts of his being. (See Proverbs 20:27).
When a person gets “born again”, it is the spirit that gets recreated, not the soul or body.
The food of the recreated human spirit is the WORD of GOD; the strength of the soul is the WORD of GOD.
When the recreated Human Being feed well on the Word of GOD, it has control over the soul. Only then can the soul be enabled to control the negative tendencies of the Human body, which is controlled by the 5 senses.
The soul is the bridge between the spirit and the body.
When the spirit rules over the soul, the Christian will live victoriously over the forces of evil.
But when the ‘spirit’ is weak through the neglect of Bible Doctrine; the soul and body will fight for supremacy. The somewhat similar internal conflict is described by the Apostle Paul in his writings to the Romans:
“I have discovered this principle of life–that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?” (See Rom. 7:21-24,nlt).
This internal conflict is prominent when the Body, which is our “world consciousness” transfers information received through the functions of the senses to our spirit through the soul.
If the Word of GOD is not dwelling richly in the mind which is the seat of the soul, the information received would not be rightly processed and the mindset would tend towards evil and would result in a life characterized by defeat, disappointment and diseases.
That is why we are to “guard our heart/mind with all diligence for it is the wellspring of life”(See Proverbs 4:23).
The mind that is governed by the flesh is death, whereas, the mind that is governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (See Romans 8:6).
For the mind to be “governed by the spirit”, you have to be “filled with” and be “led by” the HOLY SPIRIT (See Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:14).
Which would require that you feed regularly on GOD’s Word and observe the Daily Christian Discipline.
The person who receives information from the WORD of GOD and who lives according to the Book, that person will have life in all its fullness as well as have the peace that only a relationship with GOD can give.
The human Body needs food, water and sleep to function well. However, in order to function at optimum best as well as live victoriously, the Soul and Spirit of the Born Again child of GOD needs the following, which is referred to as the Daily Christian Discipline:-
A. The Word of GOD;
B. prayer;
C. fasting;
D. meditation on GOD’s Word;
E. faith in GOD;
F. Personal Evangelism/ sharing of Testimony;
G. Fellowship with other Christians.
The Daily Christian Discipline is to the Spirit and Soul, what food, sleep and water is to the Human Body.
The Christian who lives a disciplined life is no easy target for the forces of darkness even in the dream-state.
Since the spiritual controls the physical and you are  in tune with the Word of GOD which is “spirit and life, then you will emerge victorious in any spiritual combat.
In my opening statement, I did mention that the forces of darkness do try to take advantage of the Believer’s need of sleep. And people tend to sleep more at night in the dark!
The spiritually alert Christian is a force to be reckoned with even in the sleep-state, because of GOD’s Word (Biblical Doctrines) that are richly dwelling in the soul. The presence and power of the indwelling Spirit of GOD fortifies him/her, so that he/she can effortlessly confront and overcome the forces of darkness that launches any form of attacks.
When you are infirm in your spirit or soul and are at a very low time in your life; especially when you are emotionally drained through discouragement and depression. As well as when you are still processing the loss of a loved-one, or for any other situation that puts you at your wits end, and which disables you from coordinating properly: that is when the devil usually attacks.
When the devil see you in that weakened state, he thinks you are easy prey, he assumes that you cannot stand against him adequately in spiritual combat; he forgets you have GOD’s Word and the HOLY SPIRIT resident in you.
The Greater-One who lives in you, greater than Satan and his minions.
The HOLY SPIRIT; the EVER-PRESENT HELPER of the Christian is there to make intercession for you. HE takes over and prays through you with the Words of GOD in your Soul.
The Word of GOD is the Sword of the Spirit. That is why it is very important to read, ingest and metabolize GOD’s Word.
As the Holy Spirit prays in and through the regenerated Believer, the Soul is strengthened even in that semi-conscious state to work in harmony with the human spirit to launch an offensive against the marauding forces of darkness.
That is the reason that some people will be kicking, gesticulating and making declarations, binding and casting out demons even in their semi-conscious state. Such people wake up victorious and live victoriously.
But rather unfortunately, it is not so for the Carnal Christian.
The Carnal Christian is the Born Again child of GOD who lives by the WORLD instead of by the WORD. He/she has no Doctrine resident in the soul- that means that the ‘word of GOD is not dwelling richly in him or her.
When under attack, they can barely say “JESUS”. They wake up with tales of being pressed in their sleep; some wake up panting from the exertion of running away from demons that were pursuing them. Their Body may be very strong, well-nourished and active, but their spirit and soul is very malnourished and very weak from the lack of proper spiritual and soulical foods.
Because the spiritual controls the physical, whatever happens to them in the spirit-realm would manifest within 2 weeks.
Thus, they wake up from the dream-state spiritual combat as victims.
Remember I did say that the Daily Christian Discipline is to the spirit and soul what food, water and sleep is to the Body.
The devil and his forces of evil does launch attacks at Christians in their semi-conscious state, therefore, feed your Spirit, Soul and Body well and you will not be a casualty in that combat.
It is very encouraging to know that the HOLY SPIRIT is the POWER at work in the Christian Believer-24/7. Whether you are asleep or awake, the word of GOD is DYNAMO in HIS workings.
Whether during the day or at night, you can run to the battle. The GREATER-ONE lives in you .Glory to GOD!
The best thing to be in this day and age is a CHILD OF GOD- spirit filled, spirit-led, blood washed, water-baptized, tongue-blasting, Bible-literate and Word-perfect. Shalom!-

WARFARE PRAYER for RELEASE

“The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” (I John 3:8b). I plead the speaking Blood of CHRIST JESUS over you and everything that pertains and relates to you.

I come against the power of the devil over your will, mind and emotion: And release you to live your life to the glory of GOD.

In CHRIST name, I bring under Divine subjection and captivity, all the forces of evil assigned against you to manipulate, intimidate, control, torment, possess, obsess and oppress you and yours; and order that they leave you and yours now.

The feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, abjectivity and suicidal tendencies are to leave you now.

I affirm that you have received the spirit of love, power and soundness of mind: therefore, the mental attitude that puts you in slavery to persons, place or things or that makes you dependent upon persons, place or things; and whatever else has been exalted against the knowledge of GOD in your life; are cast down to disintegrate now.

I speak to your mind to be receptive of the Liberating Doctrines of CHRIST and for it to dwell richly in you by faith.
From today, GOD’s Word forms the basis of your thought life.

The fear that kept you bound to your present adverse situation is to leave you at once.

The peace of GOD and peace from GOD is to flood your soul right now.
Receive healing for your wounded emotion and repressed hurts.

Receive clarity of vision, new ideas and enabling grace to make unprecedented progress.

Be bold, be brave and function in GOD’s perfect will for your life, In CHRIST matchless name. Shalom! – hephzibah christly

ANTIDOTE FOR DISCOURAGEMENT

“We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2) discouragement antidote

You are never alone. You are not a failure. Your present adversity is not the definition of who you are. GOD states in the Bible that when you pass through any adverse situation, HE would be with you to walk you through it.

Discouragement is satan’s weapon of destruction. Once you allow yourself to feel discouraged, your faith in GOD drops, you become hopeless and your body will begin to show signs of deterioration.

Discouragement is a sickness of the mind that affects the body.

Discouragement is borderline depression.

If you give it room to flourish in you, it would degenerate further to full-blown depression.

David confronted discouragement by encouraging himself in the LORD: He reminded himself of how faithful GOD was to him in the past, and he overcame it.

The more you dwell on the negatives, the more hopeless it gets and the more discouraged you become.

Therefore, be intentional in focusing on how GOD helped you pass through similar situations in the past. And tell yourself, with GOD’s help, you are coming out of this likewise.

JESUS CHRIST our Model confronted discouragement by focusing on the joy ahead of HIM. HE looked past the present painful challenge of rejection, disgrace, disrespect, abandonment, scourging and the humiliating death on the Cross.

And HIS endurance paid off. CHRIST received the highest position in heaven. HE got through a very discouraging time in HIS life by having a right mental attitude. So can you and so you should.

But rather unfortunately, the prophet Elijah gave in to discouragement. After a major victory over his enemies, Jezebel sent him a threatening message.

Instead of reflecting on the past victories, and how GOD also protected him in the past; he chose to focus on his present challenge- Jezebel’s threats.

The Bible says that “the fear of man is a snare”, As soon as Elijah allowed the fear of Jezebel to get the best of him, discouragement set in and it degenerated to depression. Which made him lost the will to live.

Dear Reader, we all have to confront discouraging circumstances at one point in life. But how you handle it will determine the result you get.

Confront your challenges at the place of prayer.

Disabilities become enabling grace when you focus on Divine abilities.

See the best possible outcome and refuse to see, think or dwell on the negatives that are flooding your mind.

Remember that the mind is the battle ground for spiritual warfare. Negative thoughts open you up for demonic oppression. The dwelling on negatives introduces pollution into the body and damages life.

Ask GOD to help you.

Encourage yourself in the LORD. Proceed to flood your mind with faith provoking thoughts. Hold fast your profession of faith. Keep saying it, and don’t stop believing it. Faith is the victory.

Ask for clarity so you can understand what happened, the lesson to be learned, how best to get through it and how to avoid such pitfalls in future.

If you got lost in the maze of problems, the best way out is through GOD.

When you seek HIS assistance, you will get all the support you will need and you will end up praising HIM.

Remember also that GOD has raised “watchmen” over you who are praying daily for you. The HOLY SPIRIT is in intercession for you. You are not alone. Be strong, be bold and be brave. Lift up your head in victory, it is well with you. Shalom!

Prayer:

Thanking ABBA FATHER for your life. I plead the speaking blood of JESUS CHRIST for forgiveness, cleansing and victory: I ask that you are granted more enabling grace to confront this present adversity without breaking down. 

I join faith with you and come against the forces of evil influencing discouragement, negativity, depression, dejection, worthlessness, and suicide: they are all to get off you and your life’s situation and circumstances now, in CHRIST name.

Let the peace of GOD flood your soul right now. Be filled with supernatural strength to move on. Receive clarity, new ideas, favor with GOD and with humans and be successful in life, in CHRIST name I pray. Shalom!

OVERTHROW AND DESTROY STRONGHOLDS

mind renew“the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow {and} destruction of strongholds,” (2 Cor. 10: 4; Amp)

“Strongholds” from a Biblical perspective refers to ideologies, thoughts, principles, arguments and reasonings which are contrary to GOD’s Word.

For a clearer understanding, let us read what verse 5 of our opening scripture say:

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments {and} theories {and} reasonings and every proud {and} lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought {and} purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” (2 Corinthians 10:5; Amp.)

The above Scripture points to ‘Strongholds’ as being in the Soul of Humans. The Soul is the center of our self-consciousness and the seat of our personality. The Bible describes “MAN” as a “living soul” (Genesis 2:7).

The ‘Soul’ has three (3) major faculties or distinct functions, which are: The Will/volition; Mind/Intellect; Emotion/Feeling.

Let us now see how they function so that we can understand why Strongholds can be in the Soul.

The Will or Volition; is the organ of decision. It gives us humans the power to make decisions for ourselves. We have the freedom of choice. Without the WILL humans would have been no better than robots. GOD made Humans ‘free moral agents’.

But do you know that there are those who believe that because of the ‘doctrine of predestination’; they are supposed to live their lives by happenstance. They are docile about life. Whatever happens to them, whether good or bad, they accept it as GOD’s will for their lives.

This is contrary to GOD’s Word.

There are many Scripture verses which refutes this reasoning. But I will give you just two from the Old and New Testaments.

  1. “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! (Deuteronomy 30:19; NLT)
  2. “God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done wrong” (1 John 1:9)

As a Human Being, you can choose life or death, as well as decide to confess your sins and receive forgiveness and cleansing or you can choose not to confess them and live with the consequences.

It is GOD’s desire that HIS children enjoy abundant life here on earth. As Christians, we are to speak as Oracles of GOD. And thus we are able to speak from a Divine perspective. It is an outworking of God’s grace.

The Mind or Intellect is the seat of the soul. With the mind the Human Being is capable of acquiring knowledge, human wisdom as well as reason things out. When we are thinking, the mind is in motion. Thinking is mind on the move.

That is why a person is what he or she thinks. Good thoughts produce good actions while negative thoughts produces negative outcome.

You can now see why the mind is the battleground for spiritual combat. And why we are to “refute arguments {and} theories {and} reasonings and every proud {and} lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God”.

You may not be able to stop birds from flying over your head but can stop them from building nests in your hair.

Likewise even if you are unable to stop negative thoughts from entering your mind, you can stop them from finding a home in your mind. ‘Overthrow and Destroy’ negative thoughts with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of GOD.

There is no part of the Soul that GOD’s Word cannot penetrate. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. So that we can confront, overthrow and destroy those that don’t line up with HIS Word..

Do you know that there are some Christians who hold tenaciously to the belief that sickness is divine punishment against them? Because of that they don’t resist sickness. They accept it as their lot in life.

That is the kind of ‘reasoning’ which constitutes a ‘stronghold’. It holds people very strongly. It keeps them in bondage to their erroneous beliefs and effectively disables them from exercising dominion in life. They fall sick and die in their sickness, even when “the sickness is not unto death”. They miss out on ‘Divine Healing’ and ‘Divine Health’.

Divine Health and Divine healing are present day realities for those who believe. For as Scripture states, “by HIS stripes, you were healed”.

There are also those who have very vivid negative imaginations. Whenever they are set to embark on a new project; evil imagination would start tormenting them. Their minds would be flooded with thoughts of failure, accident and anything that would scare and frustrate them into not making progress.

Such ‘strongholds’ incapacitates faith and restrains people from enjoying the benefits of salvation.

You need to feed your mind with GOD’s Word: take in a regular dose of the WORD through Bible study. Reset your mind with GOD’s Word. Listen to messages that would build up your faith. Saturate your home or work environment with worship songs. And with ear phones if you have to.

Strongholds are ‘strong’ and you confront them with determination and perseverance until they are pulled down. Don’t be victimized. Faith is the victory.

Emotion or Feeling: It is through this organ that we are able to express our likes or dislikes, love or hate, joy or sadness. By it we can express our feelings and what we are sensing

Some people have very strong feelings about certain issues based on the human knowledge they have acquired. These feelings become strongholds which sets itself up against the knowledge of GOD.

Knowledge puffs up.

Human wisdom is foolishness before GOD.

Review those religious doctrines that you are strongly holding unto. Intellectual Knowledge is not able to enable spiritual understanding. GOD’s Word is Spirit and can only be spiritually discerned. Revelation Knowledge is progressive and it is ‘caught’ as you grow in intimacy with GOD; through prayer and Bible study.

What you think you know that is puffing you up might just be the stronghold that has kept you bound to suffering, shame, sickness and repeated setbacks.

Renew your mind with GOD’s Word.

Strongholds stunts spiritual growth and spiritual progress if not pulled down and destroyed.

And since ‘strongholds’ are not physical structures but ideologies, philosophies, and so on; they can only be destroyed and overthrown with non-physical weapons as well.

GOD’s Word is Spirit and Truth and is the weapon to use to ‘Overthrow and Destroy Strongholds which are in your life or in the lives of others.

Use GOD’s Word to stop such thoughts and make them subject and obedient to CHRIST. Dig deep into your Bible and pull out every scripture that is related to your challenge: as an Oracle of GOD; declare them till you Overthrow and Destroy every Stronghold and drown out the voice of every contrary thought.
