Session 1: Text Pr. 14:11:#prayerFocus-Accelerate my Progress.

Greetings people of God. Welcome to another day of Spirit led prayers. We are thankful that the Holy Spirit has been leading us in our Prayer topics.

Today, we are going to ask God to do what has to be done in us, to get us away from where we are to where He wants us to be.

To accelerate is to increase how fast something happens.

Some many of you have been stagnant, unprogressive, depressed, and going round in circles. Today, that circle of affliction is broken and you shall accelerate to your next level, in Christ precious name.

When the anointing for acceleration came upon Elijah after watching and praying for rain, He out ran a horse-See 1Kgs.18:46.

Today, we affirm that the anointing of God’s Spirit at work in us propels us into achieving excellence in our ministries, economic pursuits, parenting responsibilities, and in all other facets of our lives.

Lift your voices and pray. Have you attained your goals in life? Then pray! Talk to God about it. Present your strong argument. Remind God of what His Word says in the Bible.

When the children of Israel were going round in circles, God called a stop to it and told them to make progress.

You cannot continue to accept the status quo. There are better days ahead. For even when there is a pulling down in the world God’s Word says we shall declare there is a lifting up .

The world need to see you make advancements. We are the hope of the world. Let your life be the epistle people will read and seek God.

Therefore, as this season is closing in, get yourself together. Enough of the pity – party. The demons are subject to you. Get them out of the way and keep going.

People are looking up to you. Are you ready to pray and watch.? Get doing.

Faith involves action. Do what you need to do and keep praying as you are doing it. That is what spiritual warfare is all about – persistence, perseverance. Importunity and exercising authority.

Affirm that because of the the anointing for acceleration, every yoke retarding, hindering, blocking or standing against your progress is destroyed now! Glory. HALLELUJAH!

Declare you are making unprecedented progress in your career, (add your personal issues) etc.

How to connect to the anointing for acceleration :

1. Have absolute faith in God. Do not be carried by any wind of doctrine

2. Be confident of who you are in Christ. Hold unto what Christ accomplished for you.

3. Be bold to approach the Throne of God and ask Him shamelessly and be brave to Confront the forces of evil to uproot them

4. Persevere at the place of prayer. Elijah watched and prayed until he saw a sign. Know that when you give up, you can’t go up.

5. Shun sin. Do not be unequally yoked with non-believers – Elijah refused to associate with the prophets of Baal. He knew the God he serves and did exploits in His name.

6. Develop an attitude of praise

7. Be sensitive to the move of the Holy Spirit – be watchful.

8. Be specific in your prayer requests

9. Be expectant.

10. Have a right mental attitude. Your attitude determines your altitude.

session 1, Text: Ps. 118:25: #prayerFocus: Send Now Prosperity

Importunity and persistence in prayer involves being shameless in asking God for your needs. As a believer, we know that Christ took our poverty that we might be rich in Him. However, many children of God are homeless, jobless, poor, and sick. A vast majority are in a state of ‘borderline-poverty’.

It is God’s will for us to prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper. Why then are so many wallowing in poverty?

Some of the reasons why people remain poor are as follows:

1. Ignorance 2. Stinginess 3. Ancestral/curse of poverty 4. Laziness 5. Planlessness

Ignorance and Lack of vision: Ignorance causes suffering, while people perish without vision. However, through knowledge the just shall be delivered-See Hos. 4:6; Pr. 11:9; 29:18. I heard a preacher say Pentecostals use one percent of their brain while Orthodox Christians use just 5 percent of theirs.

This is not meant to insult or judge but to help you understand the need to ‘watch and pray’ so you wont enter into temptations. The Human Being is unique among all created things. God gave us faculties in our spirit, soul and body with which to function adequately in this world. Added to which, Christ has been made wisdom unto us.

However, it is so alarming that most ‘Christians’ do not use their reasoning faculties! Instead, they wait on God to come clean their butts. God wont do for you what you can do for yourself. How would you feel if your 8 year old still wait on you to spoon-feed him or her? We really do need to grow up, search the scriptures and apply the principles therein to confront our daily reality.

There is a God part and your part. God’s part is Done-Finished on the Cross by Christ. Your part is to appropriate what is done for you. And the Holy Spirit will help our infirmities as we strive towards perfection. God did not leave us helpless. We have the Holy Spirit as helper, comforter, advocate, standby, teacher etc. He lives within us.

Our prayer theme is a cry for perfection. We are asking God to show us areas in our lives that we still need to work on. And to God’s glory, everyday, He points us in the right direction. As we pray, we watch- we make amends and improve on our characters, relationships and evict the evil spirits influencing or enforcing evil in our circumstances and condition. By this, we walk in perpetual victory. Hallelujah.

What is your vision for the nest season? If you have no vision or clarity of purpose, ask God to show you what He wants you to do. When we acknowledge God in all our ways, He directs our path-See Pr. 3:6. And whatever He tells you to do, be ready to do it.

Testimony: I remember we once had a prayer meeting with this same Tittle-Send Now Prosperity, for aspiring entrepreneurs who needed upstart capital and direction. At the end of the 7 day-prayer meeting, only 2 women were still clueless. During private counseling, it came out that they actually received revelation pointing them to the type of business to do. But they felt it was beneath them as both were widows of ex-military officers.

One saw herself selling cornstarch extracts (pap), and the other saw herself selling bagged water (ice water in the local language). In all sincerity, these two businesses are what poor illiterate women do. So we understood their dilemma. However, we told them to go pray for three more days and let us know what the Holy Spirit says to them. They both still had the same dream.

In trying to understand what the Holy Spirit was saying, we asked questions and it came out that the lady with the dream of making ‘cornstarch’ loves making it as a hobby with different flavors. While the other lady had a nylon sealing machine she intended to use commercially, but she had no capital for the local materials.

Dear friends, do not despise the days of little beginnings. As a faith and love based missionary who does not solicit or give handouts: our economic empowerment programs are usually spirit-led and with low capital base. We depend on God to touch hearts of those he wants to bless through their partnership involvement with us. And little becomes a great company with His blessings. We teach people to work the word because the word works.

We prayerfully plan, and execute our plans according to Divine directives. What we have we need, what we do not have, we can do without. We impart these principles and and encourage people to live within their present provisions. We discourage indebtedness. one of our slogan is ‘don’t, beg, borrow or steal. Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and He will direct your path.

In addition, both ladies were advised to ask for clarity and to do as they were shown. The first lady started making flavored-cornstarch, which is far better than custard. Her clientele grew, people started placing special orders. Her break came when her niece asked her to host some Europeans who wanted to holiday in an African home setting. They loved the flavored ‘pap’ and became business partners. She exports her products. Her market expanded.

She did not need to beg, borrow or steal, to start an income -yielding venture that increased her her grace to give. We are blessed to be a blessing. An African proverb says a river that forgets its source runs dry. The Source of all blessings is God. Her support for God’s work increased and she invested more in the lives of others in order to point them to Christ her Source and Resource.

The second lady started bagging water, sealing it with her nylon-sealing machine. She became the pioneer of pure water in Nigeria. Big things start small. Your change is come. God will help you to identify the prosperity He has sent you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

However, if you are not born again, you need to invite Jesus Christ into your life to save you from God’s wrath to come, and from your present challenges. To do that is as simple as ABC.

Admit you are a sinner and need help

Believe Jesus Christ died as payment for your sin and God raised Him from the dead for your salvation and restoration.

Confess Jesus Christ is Lord in accordance with Romans 10:8-11.

Prayer Points/Action

1. Thank God for His Word that had brought light to your life.
2. In accordance with 1Jn. 1:9 name the sins you remember ,ask God to forgive you and believe He has forgiven.
3. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh with power and anointing to pray the mind of God.
4. Today dearly Beloved, there is a miracle in your house. Ask God to show you what He has deposited in you that He wants to channel your prosperity through. God has promised to bless the works of our hands.
5. The borrower is subject to the lender. Christ has delivered us from every bondage. Why put yourself into economic slavery? Ask God’s forgiveness for all the ways you have enslaved yourself through indebtedness.
6. Prepare a list of all who you are owing and the amount owed. Everyday, present it to God and ask Him to intervene and help you get out of the quagmire of debts.
7. Resolve to stop credit buying and get a debit card instead. Bible says we are not of this world. The world’s system encourages indebtedness and many Christians have become victims and open themselves to be demonized by foul spirits enforcing the curse of poverty.
8. Ask God to help you become more prudent in your spending, and to shun unplanned buying.
9. Pray concerning your mortgage payments , utility bills and all other overhead running costs for your home. Ask God for wisdom in maximizing your Resources and to send you prosperity to clear up your debts.
10. Pray concerning your workplace. speak peace, favor, progress, stability and promotion. Ask God to come into your work community because your are there as His representative. Let Him come visit and envelope the place and lives with His presence.

Session 1, Text 1Sam. 24:12-15 #prayerFocus – Judge my unrelenting troubles.

David was chosen by God to be replacement for King Saul. It was his Divine destiny.

David was in no way responsible for Saul’s fall from grace. But that did not stop Saul from seeking to kill David.

Can you envision the situation David was in? A young lad being hunted down by the president and head of the armed forces and all other security agencies.

There were informants everywhere. There was no hole he could hide in save in the forest and caves . Well, that was familiar territory.

As a shepherd boy, David knew the best hiding places that the kings guerrillas did not know of. Even though anointed King already by God, he was on the run for his life.

Eventually his family too had to run to him too because of constant harassment from the kings men.

And yet, when David had the opportunity to kill the king and take the throne, he would not.

Instead, he repented of even thinking such foul thoughts and appealed to the Righteous Judge of the universe to intervene in his circumstances.

Prayer Points

1. Unrelenting issues: Like David, you may have an unrelenting foe-a long standing reproach, debt, health condition or whatever it is that has doggedly trailed your life.

Today, you are going to cry out to God to judge your unrelenting foes, which may be – adversity, poverty, demonic torment, homelessness, indebtedness, joblessness, singleness, addictions, etc. – according to His righteousness.

Enough is Enough.

You are going to present your strong argument as David did.

^{A. God’s Word says, “}And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” – 1Peter 5:10.

Did you just read what that scripture verse says-“that after you have

suffered a little while? It did not say your suffering will be unending.

Let God judge between you are whatever, whoever is making life unbearable for you. He did for David. He is not partial. You are the accepted in the Beloved-His righteousness in Christ Jesus. There is no condemnation to you.

My friend, you gotta pray yourself out of this stalemate in Your life.

This situation must be judged today for it does not line up with God’s Word. It has drawn-out for far too long.

So cry out to God about His faithfulness, justice and mercy. God is not man to lie. His gifts and callings are irrevocable.

Pray in the spirit.

Today is the day that yoke of oppression is destroyed. You will not enter the new year with this problem, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

B. Ask God’s deliverance from failure, depression, addictions, addictive behavior, homelessness loneliness, hopelessness, divorce, abusive relationship, etc (add your peculiar challenges)

Proverbs 12:13 says, “the just shall come out of trouble”. Yesss,!!!! Today this scripture is fulfilled in your life.

You are out of your troubles in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

God will perfect all that concerns you.

2. Ask God “himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” – 1Peter 5:10. In accordance with His Word.

A. Ask Restoration to God’s original purpose for your life. God restored the throne to David even when his son rebelled against him, supported by the wisest counselor in the land.

B. Confirmation:

When David ascended the throne, he was a local hero until God intervened and the12 tribes confirmed him and he became a national hero.

I pray your mediocrity be replaced with excellence and God’s gift in your life draw the right attention to you and cause you to be celebrated to God’s glory in the name of Jesus Christ.

Bible says we should shew forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light-See 1Peter 2:9
You shall be in the limelight for good in the name of Jesus Christ.

C. Strength
Ask “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:16-20,Kjv.

D. Establish

It was God who established David on the throne. Ask God to establish the works of your hands, your family, dreams aspirations etc.

Keep praying in tongues and in the understanding.

Join us today to war in prayer against quarrelling, disunity, and disharmony etc.; among family members.
God’s Word says: “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your … and mine, for we are close relatives”– Genesis 13:8.

In accordance with GOD’s Word, let us PRAY for our close and far relatives that:-
* They love each other; communicate effectively with one another and be there for one another.
* War against the forces of evil influencing sibling rivalry, jealousy, false accusation, vindictiveness, maliciousness, suspicion, and lack of progress: order the evil spirits to leave at once to the feet of Jesus Christ.

* Affirm that Christ manifested and destroyed the works of the devil : therefore all manifestations of evil stops now in the life of every member of your family.
* Affirm that all the seeds of discord and all other evil seeds that were sown by your parents, aunts, uncles and cousins are destroyed.
* Pray that Holy Fire from GOD consume all the seeds that have grown into trees which are producing evil fruits in your family.
* Command the root of familial illnesses and diseases to wither and be uprooted.
*Invite GOD’s presence into your family and ask for the salvation of the souls of those who are still lost in their sins.
* Affirm that your family members walk in love and in the fear of God.

* Release the anointing of God’s Spirit that brings healing, peace, unity, understanding to be at work in your family.

*Affirm your are all healed, united, live in harmony, are loving and kind to one another and are prospering in their academics, careers, marriages, parenting, and businesses, in CHRIST precious name.

Session 1:Text – Pr. 10:6, #prayerFocus: Blessings

The Blessings of God are evidenced in His favor and protection.

A. God in His Omniscience chose David to be King Saul’s replacement. However no other person was privy to the fact that God’s blessing is on1 David’s head.

And David was not even invited to the in-house ordination party. However, God’s blessing that was already upon his head, made it impossible for him to be sidelined-See 1Sam. 16:5-13.

1. Beloved, even if Humans reject, abadone or malign you, the blessings of God upon your head will call you out, in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. God’s blessings upon your life will be confirmed before this month ends, in the name of Jesus Christ.

B. Many seek the ruler’s favor but justice for man comes from the LORD-See Pr. 29:26.

David’s father favored his elder brothers and presented them for the honor. But God bypassed all of them because His blessings are on the Head of David.

God’s grace will locate you. See Dan. 6:14,22.

3. From today, those who are doing eye service in order to be promoted ahead of you will be bypassed in your favor in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

C. Be it known to you my friend that the righteousness of God seeks out its own-it covers. Righteousness exalts-it promotes and prospers – See Pr. 13:14.

However, sin attracts reproach.

4. You will ask God forgiveness for every way you have favored, maligned, done eye service or sought favors from others without a leading from God.

5. Resolve from today to look up to God to work out his plans for your life.

6. Thank God who made you the accepted in the Beloved and by the finished work of Christ, you have entered into the blessing of Abraham, by faith in Christ.

7. Affirm that the blessings of God upon your life makes you rich devoid of sorrows in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

D. Those who love righteousness are anointed with the oil of gladness above their fellows – See Heb. 1:9.

8. Affirm: I am the righteousness of God in Christ. And as a partaker of the Divine nature, health, joy, peace, prosperity, victory and the glorious life in Christ are mine.

9. Declare: the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, I have a goodly heritage and therefore, I walk in dominion and success, perpetually, in Christ precious name.

E. Those who rejected, suffered collective amnesia and conveniently forgot David in the day of visitation, were restrained from disrespecting the Chosen king. They did not sit down until after David was anointed. See 1Sam 26:11b

David was passionate about God. The zeal of God was life fire in his bosom. We can love God like David because God first loved us and poured out his love into our hearts so we can love like Him.

10. Thank God for His loving-kindness for you. No one is deserving of His love. Pray to love like God – whether people deserve your love or not.

Session 1:Text: Ps. 138:7: #prayerFocus-Preservation

Dear friends, God promises to preserve us against the anger of enemies. Whether small, big, or giant enemies, we have God’s Word that He will preserve our lives.

Preservation means protection, maintenance, perpetuation, among many others.

The value God placed on Human life is His life. Hence Christ came and died in our place.

Our text says, “Though I am surrounded by troubles you will preserve me against the anger of my enemies. You will clench your fist against my angry enemies. Your power will save me” -Ps. 138:7,NLT.

Let me briefly define the highlighted words.

Surrounded means to encircle or be around: troubles are difficulties – unfortunate circumstances etc. Anger, is a strong feeling of displeasure: enemies are hostiles who seek to cause harm.

Beloved, who is that strong enemy that seek your harm.?? Are you being discriminated at your workplace? Has the other woman/man made threatening statements? Are you being abused by an intimate partner? Are you being bullied?

God says, He will clench his fist against your angry enemy. And his power shall save you. Awesome!

Sennacherib was a formidable foe who sent his war generals to threaten Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem.

However, God’s people were not intimidated. They cried out to God, and He sent an angel who annihilated the enemies.

Sennacherib was defeated and disgraced-See 2Chr. 32.

My Prayer for you :

1. God’s power will not allow the anger of the enemy to erode (wear away gradually), your finances, health, relationships, career, academic expectations and all those things that are dear to your heart, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Because God is working out His plans for your life, you will be safe. Amein.

2. The enemies cannot corrode (destroy by chemical action) you, and your family, through substance abuse, addictions, addictive behaviors and all other related evil ways, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

By GOD’s power to save, there is separation between the addicts and the substances.

The urge is gone.

The dependence is destroyed.

You are saved.

Your children are saved.

An end has come to that trauma in your family, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!!!! Glory to God.

3. As you are striving towards perfection, all corrupt influences(frenemies), and perverted relationships that has been subtley interfering with your advancement in life, are hereby prohibited and disconnected from you.

God has unveiled your frenemies and you are saved from their evil projections and manipulations, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Points

Read Psalm 44:1-8.

1. Ask forgiveness for all the ways you have not held on to God’s Word by faith

2. Affirm that because God is for you, your heart is at peace and all fears are dissipated.

3. Then pray, ask God to give you stories of great deliverances so that you will also have testimonies to share.

Session 1, Text:Psalm 138:6, #prayerFocus : Deliverance from Discrimination

We are thankful that one week is gone by already in our prayers and fasting season.

I declare that God will perfect His plans for the life of everyone of you who have been prayerfully following us, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I am sorry for posting the #prayerFocus later than when we started. It’s because I have to first pray and receive the right Word for the season, before sharing, else it would be devoid of God’s power.

Our prayer theme for this #prayerSeason is taken from Psalm 138:6 – 8.

This Psalm is believed to be the work of King David, of who we reviewed an aspect of his life on day 7. In this Writing, King David boldly resolves to praise God in the face of adversity spite or scorn.

The lesson from this Psalm for us is that praise to God is not an option. It is a mandate that in all things and all seasons, we should have an attitude of praise.

Adversity or prosperity cannot stop my praise. Hallelujah.

We are basing our prayers today on verse 6 which says:

“Though the LORD is on high, yet He regards the lowly: But the proud He knows from afar” Ps. 138:6,NkJV.

Even though God is great, He does not discriminate or is He partial in His dealings with Humanity. He reaches everyone equally with His grace love, mercy, faithfulness and justice.

However, He keeps the proud at a distance.

“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble” James 4:6b,NIV. The Living Translation says, “God set himself against the proud but he shows favor to the humble ”

Dear friends, the Online dictionary defines discrimination as “the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, etc.

Some of the synonyms of Discrimination are bias, bigotry, prejudice, intolerance, narrow-mindedness, unfairness, inequity, favouritism, one-sidedness, partisanship;
sexism, chauvinism, racism, racialism, antisemitism etc.

A person who discriminates against another is full of pride: feels superior to the other person, and is in great trouble with God.

God opposes/sets himself against such a person or peoples. Pride was the downfall of Lucifer the anointed cherub who in now known as satan.

STOP AND THINK

If God discriminated against you-if he was partial or egocentric, would you have qualified for his love, grace etc that you have been freely given?

God says in His Word that ‘by His grace He saved you not by the works that you did’ – See Eph 2:8

Bible says that ‘He showed His love in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for you’ – See Rom. 5:8

And again in Lamentations 3:22-23, we are told, “it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness”

BE THANKFUL

Thank God for the out working of His grace that brought Salvation/deliverance, healing, prosperity etc. to Humanity.

But God’s mercies that has withheld the just recompense for our sins, we would have been consumed by bitterness and wickedness of heart, frustrated by failures, eaten up by poverty and diseases and died of depression.

But because his compassion fail not and are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great, God gives us the strength to press forward, and the reason to go on, despite being discriminated upon and other numerous challenges we have had to Confront.

You know your history better than I do. You know from where God has picked you up and held you up. Don’t you think you have many reasons to be thankful for?

If despite what you were, God’s grace found you, don’t you think you should extend such grace to others who are where you were before God turned your life around!?

LET DISCRIMINATION GO

Have you been partial in judgment or discriminated against others because of who or what they are?

How do you see others? Are you a religious bigot like the pharisee who stood praying and made boasts about his spirituality and calling the other person a sinner? See Lk. 18:9-14

Are you racist, ethnocentric and full of your socioeconomic status? Do you look down on people because you are rich, educated, married, have children etc?

You are setting yourself up for a day of reckoning when God the unchanging will allow circumstances to tilt the scale against you, unless you repent.

Or have you not heard that time and chance happens to everyone? It’s not he who wills nor he who runs, it is God who shows mercy.

To despise or discriminate against people is to call out God. Don’t you know that to mock the less advantaged person is an insult to God? See Pro. 17 :5, 14:31.

#prayerPoints

1. Deeply search your heart: ask God to point out anyway you have discriminated or shown partiality.

You may use this scripture from Psalm 139:23-24 which says,

“Search me, O God, and know my heart, test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you and lead me along the path of everlasting life.-NLT.

2. Ask and receive forgiveness for the following:

A. acts of partiality, favoritism or discrimination against your children that has created sibling rivalry among your children.

Like Joseph, the favored child always suffers but not many turn out well like he did.

B. acts of religious bigotry where you have shown disdain for those you think are in sin or ignorant. Do you know the stage they are in, in their walk with God? Is revelation knowledge not progressive?

The grace of God that has appeared to all men will eventually uplift them. Hallelujah. Focus on your journey with God and lovingly teach, correct, admonish etc.

C. Repent from treating other Christians and women as filth class, thereby frustrating and not appreciating the grace of God. You are not a Christian by what you did, but by what Christ accomplished

Remember that it is the goodness of God that led you to repentance. You really need to be broken in your spirit about your religious pride for it opens you up for Demonization.

3. Resolve today to let pride and discrimination go. Repentance is a heart commitment to change from your ways to God’s way.

Demons can’t function in an atmosphere of Godliness.

4. Thank God for his grace, blessings, talents, gifts etc that is abounding towards you. Resolve to use these blessings to further the cause of the Kingdom.

5. Command pride, discrimination, prejudice, racism, anti semitism mockery and all related evils, to dislodge and leave your life and world now.

Tell all the foul spirits to go to the feet of Jesus Christ.

6. Declare the works of devil is destroyed and you are victorious over the world, by your faith in Christ.

7. Affirm that your heart is kept pure soft, humbled and bowed before the Great God.

8. Ask that the anointing of God’s Spirit that enables the development of the fruit of the Spirit perfect the work of humility in you. Receive an impartation of humility, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

9. Affirm: Humility is ingrained in me, it is my nature in Christ. I’m growing in knowledge and unto maturity. I’m holy and blame free, for Christ took my shame and gave me His name, righteousness and glory. I’m ready for Divine use for God is working out His plans for my life. Hallelujah

CONCLUSION

Biblr says, “If you show servile regard as in prejudice, partiality, discrimination, favoritism, for people, you commit sin and are rebuked and convicted by the law as violators and offenders” – James 2:9,Amplified.

Walking in humility is a heart attitude. A decision to be humble is different from an impartation of humility.

Hearts are changed by a supernatural impartation when God releases His Divine power in response to your yielded heart as you study His Word.

The development of Godly characteristics don’t happen by fiat, but through the process of sanctification/deliverance, as you apply Bible doctrines in your daily reality.

However, impartation responds to a heart decision to change from being a proud and loathsome person to someone whose life will be a fragrance to Christ and attractive to others.

My prayer is that during this season of prayer and fasting, you will grow in your knowledge of Christ and of God, and by supernatural impartation, Christ will be formed in you.

God indeed is perfecting all that concerns us, as we transition into the new seasons of our lives, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Session 1, Text:1Cor. 6:18: #prayerFocus – ridding the bloodline of ingrained sexual immorality.

Sexual immorality is any kind of sexual expressions outside marriage-See Matt. 19:4-5.

The word sexual immorality is derived from the Greek Word porneia which also refer to fornication, Pornography, idolatry and whoredom.

God’s Word says to flee sexual immorality-1Cor.6:18 because of how adversely it affects the whole personality and subsequent generations.

While Sexual immorality defiles, making the offenders impure, it also repels the presence of God. It’s very offensive to our Holy God-See Rom. 1:24, Gal. 5:19, Eph. 4:19.

God created Humans and gifted us the pleasure of Sexual expressions within the confines of marriage-Matt. 19:6.

Definition of Terms:

Fornication is sexual expressions between unmarried folks.

Adultery is sexual intercourse between folks with either one or both parties married.

Idolatry is not only the worship of images but the exaltation of any object-persons or things above the knowledge of God.

In most culture/religion where images are worshipped, sexual immorality is an integral part of the rites and rituals.

In this century, sexual immorality among some elite priests came to public knowledge when victims of child molestation cried out.

Whoredom is the practice of prostitution. In our world today, it has degenerated further to women being kidnapped and sold off as sex-slaves.

All the above are sinful behavior because God’s will is for sexual expressions to be within the confines of marriage.

Sin is any action or attitude that violates or does not conform to the will of God-See 1Jn. 5:17.

The sinful legacy of Adam:

Through the disobedience of Adam, his descendants became sinners – See Rom. 5:19. Sin became the evil genetic legacy of Humanity.

The sin nature is inherited through procreation. Every Human born into this world is born a sinner and prone to sin and under the authority of the devil and the forces of evil.

The righteous nature of God and authority over the Devil is receive through faith in what Christ Jesus accomplished for Humanity.

How sinful pattern become ingrained family traditions :

Children learn by imitating the actions and mannerisms of their parents. Hence the next generations often repeat the sins /errors of their parents, with increasing degeneracy.

It’s easy for children to embrace the immoral life style of their parents because it is embedded in their memory-ingrained in their psyche.

Recently my grandkids visited and I noticed my 2 year old grandson habitually cleans up after eating. There is no stopping him. When he is done eating, he puts back his chair, pick up his plate and heads to the kitchen. He was mimicking the actions of his dad.

Children are very impressionable: they learn good or evil from the home which reinforces there heredity.

That is the reason certain sins become the accepted ingrained tradition of a family, tribe or nation.

Demonization entry-level:

Negative familial behaviors are reinforced by demons who gain access into the ancestry through sin.

Demons are evil spirits. And familiar evil spirits are demons who are familiar with family history and traditions: for they have been in the same family for centuries.

Demons are ‘satan’s’ foot-soldiers and are mandated to steal, kill and destroy Humans.

They majorly possess non-believers and tempt Believers to sin. Every family have active and dormant demons.

Example of Reinforced sinful pattern: King David:

David is a descendant of Judah the forth son of Jacob. Judah saved Joseph’s life when his brothers wanted to murder him out of jealousy. However, he advised them to sell Joseph into slavery – See Gen. 37:26-28.

Shortly afterwards, Judah broke rank with his brothers and went to Hirah his friend.

Perhaps the guilt of their actions and the sight of his grieving father was too much to handle, so he ran away and got into more trouble.

While with his friend Hirah, he met and married a Canaanite woman, Shua. They had 3 sons – Er, Onan and Shelah-See Gen. 38:1-5.

Violation of ancestral boundaries:

The sin of breaking the bond of brotherhood, degenerated into marriage with a woman from a forbidden tribal group.

Previously, Abraham his great grandfather had made his servant swear by the God of heaven and earth, not to acquire a Canaanite wife for his son Isaac in order not to violate the terms of his covenant with God – See Gen. 24:3.

Rebecca his grandmother specifically told Jacob, “you shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan-Gen. 28:6.

But Judah chose to walk against laid down family rules because the familiar spirits had something on him with which to manipulate and control his actions.

Judah, was among the sons of Jacob who Deceived Hamor, preparing the way for Simeon and Levi to commit murder.-See Gen. 34:13.

Bad morals-learned:

Judah’s marriage to the Canaanite Shua was a bad influence that further increased the sinful degeneration of that family.

The prevailing wickedness and sexual immorality of the Canaanite showed up in the life of Judah’s sons.

Bible says, “Er, Judah’s first born was wicked…and the LORD killed him”-Gen. 38 :7.

Onan too was killed by God when he spilled his sperm during sex with his late brother’s wife, because he did not want to raise an heir for his late brother – Gen. 38:8-10.

Judah, in who deceit was an ingrained behavior, made promises to his daughter inlaw, which he had no intention of keeping.

Eventually, the ingrained immorality degenerated to sexual promiscuity. Which led him into an incestuous affair with his daughter inlaw.

Since she knew his weakness, she disguised as a harlot in order to get her right which was denied her deceptively-See Gen. 38:12-17.

Effects:

Through sexual immorality, Judah compromised his integrity, position, status, and authority.

As collateral, in lieu of payment for sexual pleasures Judah gave the prostitute his symbol of authority – his signet and cord and his staff of office – the shepherd staff – See Gen. 38:18.

What is a shepherd without a staff?

Through that sexual union, Tamar got pregnant. And a ‘holier than thou’ Judah invoked the death penalty for adultery on her.

However, it could not be enforced because she was justified by in seeking her right to an heir for her late husband who died childless. She Deceived the deceiver and he stopped the death penalty on her.

Tamar gave birth to twins Perez and Zarah.

Sins of the fathers:

King David descended from Pérez, the son of the incestuous union between Tamar and Judah – See Matt. 1:3-6.

That spirit of sexual immorality trailed David and the ingrained sinful behavior degenerated further – he acquired wives, he murdered to cover up adultery. His children and grandchildren became incestuous, rapist, rebellious, murderous, idolatrous and his grand son divided the kingdom he fought all his life to preserve –Read more in My Book Demons Deactivated.

Deliverance Action:

In order to maintain a godly heritage, parents should watch out for their kids physically and spiritually.

1. Set clearly defined boundaries between brothers and sisters to checkmate incest.

2. If you are cohabiting, repent.

3. Resolve to exemplify righteousness – flee sexual sins. Leave a Godly heritage for your children.

4. Review your family history, identify the sinful trends in your ancestry such as rape, consecutive divorces, multiple marriages, and some of the effects show up in single parenting, dream-state sexual abuses, and sexual perversions such as homosexuality etc.

Other symptoms are late marriage, marital problems, rejection frigidity and related sexual problems.

5. Repent on behalf of you and your family – apply the principle of Daniel chapter 9.

6. Make a list of all demon intruders in your bloodline, evidenced by character traits and presenting problems :command them to leave your bloodline at once with their relatives and surrender at the feet of Jesus Christ.

7. Affirm that all the works of the devil is destroyed and your bloodline is cleansed

8. Affirm the victory of the Cross and dedicate your bloodline to God in the name of Jesus Christ. You are the priest of your family – 1Peter 2 :9.

9. Bless your bloodline by replacing the evils you have cast out with their positive opposite.

Session 1, day 6, text-Pro. 6:1-5: #prayerFocus Taming the Tongue

Many people with great potentials are living like mere men because they let their tongues run loose. In his writing, James says, ‘if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle his whole body,’ – See James 3:2.

A person who has no control over his tongue which is the smallest member of the body, how can he/she exercise self-control?

Without self control, a Human being becomes inhuman and evil-personified, and eventually self-destruct.

Although James says no Human can tame the tongue-See James 3:7, we do know by scriptures that all things are possible to them that believe – See Mark 9:23.

Towards taming the tongue:

1. We are therefore to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath – See James 1:19.

When you allow your emotions and outside influences control you, you are more likely to act or speak before thinking.

In order not to fall prey to the enemy who is looking for who to devour, you need wisdom because wisdom is profitable to direct.

2. Therefore, resolve to always pray things through before making important decisions: For it is foolishness to judge a matter without hearing the full details-See Proverbs 18:13.

That is the reason you do not stand surety for a stranger. You will get into trouble. However, there are several other ways you can broker peace without guaranteeing the debts of a stranger.

3. In this new season we are going into, resolve to use your words to build up people and not be the reason a person fails or commit suicide.

Insensitive words cut deep into the heart and leave people with hurts that can mar the personality.

God’s Word says to ‘bless and not curse’ – Romans 12:14. The reason is that the person who curses or speaks bad words is defiled already because, ‘out of the fulness of the heart, the mouth speaks’ – See Matthew 15:11

A person gets defiled through what they allow into the mind that forms the framework for their thinking.

The mind is the seat of the Soul, and the Soul is the personality of the Human Being. From the mind we reason /think. Hence a person is what he /she thinks.

Good thoughts result in good action and bad thoughts in bad action. Your words/activity reveals your personality.

When the heart /mind is defiled, evil is festering in the person, which will result in psychosomatic disorders/ mental health issues.

4. Let God’s Word richly dwell in you. Taming of the tongue begins with what you feed your Soul. The Word of God is dynamic to cause change. The more of God’s Word you have in the inside of you, the more indestructible and uninfectable you become like God.

The Holy One Jesus Christ could not suffer corruption for there was nothing of the devil in Him.

5. Learn to speak pleasantly. ‘pleasant words are like honeycomb. It brings sweetness to the Soul and health to the bones’ – See 16:24

It will benefit you more if you tame your tongue.

1. Thank God for the perfecting of your character by entrance of this Word that has brought deliverance to your life.

2. Ask forgiveness for all the Hurtful /hate-filled words by which you have caused pain to God and others.

3. Ask God to bridle your tongue and grant you more enabling grace to read and study your Bible and thus, cleanse your mind of all resident defiling thoughts.

4. Command all the forces of evil that were Influencing the lack of mouth and self control, to leave at once with all related evil spirits, to the feet of Jesus Christ.

5. Affirming the following :

God’s Word richly dwelling in me, is a lamp to my path. I function with the consciousness that I have the tongue of the learned, there is no uncertainty or darkness in my path. And from today, I’m guided by God’s Word and I walk in victory prosperity and divine health. Amein.

Let us Pray :

ABBA Father thank you for the Blood of Jesus Jesus Christ that has cleansed and restored me to Your ideal.

I take advantage of your enabling grace and forgive everyone who spoke evil words over my life right from my mother’s womb to this day.

From today, those Words ceases to work against me and mine, and dies out now.

My Life functions in accordance with God’s plans and purpose for I am born of God and no weapon can prosper against me.

In like manner, I receive forgiveness for all who my words paved the path of destruction for, right from the womb or through any time of their lives.

All such words are rendered ineffective and dies now.

Thank you ABBA for giving me more grace and discernment in the use of my vocal cords.

Help me Father to daily live out your life in this world, in the matchless name Jesus Christ.

‘God must perfect all that concerns you’ #prayerSeason Day 5, session 1 :Text:Rom. 8:11.

Friendship need to be cultivated; relationships need to be nurtured. Do not take people for granted or despise the disadvantaged.

You place yourself at a disadvantage when you despise those facing challenges.

Nabal the fool despised David and never lived to tell the story. Whereas David became King, married his wife and owned all his wealth as well. Read the story for yourself in 1 Samuel 25.

After dealing disdainfully and disrespectfully with the people in your life, do you think they will suddenly be there for you and do your bidding at the snap of a finger?

Don’t you know that calamity will come suddenly upon those that despise wise counsel in favor of foolishness? see Proverbs 1:26, Isa. 30:13-15, 47:11.

God told Priest Eli,’I honor those who honor me; those who scorn me I demean’ -See 1st Sam.2:30.

That same principle of seedtime and harvest runs through the Bible. See Genesis 8:22; Galatians 6:7-8.

“Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plant’s, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others-ignoring God!-harvests a crop of weeds “ See Galatians 6:7, NLT.

Human memory is indeed very short. How can you forget so soon that you turned your back on the destiny helpers that God In His infinite wisdom strategically placed at certain points of your life for your benefit?

Because they seemed indigent, they became irrelevant to you. And you despised and treated them with ignominy.

Make amends while you still got the chance.

Don’t think you have got it made and don’t need your friends and family – that is foolhardiness.

Remember : ‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven’-See Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Even as furnitures have their purpose, friends and family have theirs too .

Don’t despise the days of little beginning . A little child eventually grows up to be an adult. He won’t stay little for ever.

Situations and circumstances of life do change. And God is the unchanging-changer. The times and seasons of our lives are in His hands.

You don’t give up on people because you think they have nothing to offer.
Don’t You forget that there is a God in heaven who lifts the poor out of the dunghill and make them rulers!

Know that ‘God rules: as judge, he puts one down and sets another up. ‘ See Daniel 4:17, Jeremiah 27:15

Once there is life, there is hope. No human can thrive in isolation. You need your friends and family, and they need you too.

Interdependence is the God ideal.

When you thrash people, don’t expect them to put you on a pedestal when you crash.

For all the people out there that friends and family thrashed because they considered you a looser: hold in there, stay strong, don’t give up on yourself, have faith in God and have faith in yourself.

Your change is come .

God has not forgotten nor has He given up on you! Don’t put yourself in the thrash-can. You are God’s priceless possession. He believes in you .

Believe in yourself .

Its not he that willeth, its not he that runneth it is God that shows mercy-See Romans 9:15-16

You will be successful in Christ mercy-full name.

Christ came down but went up again . You will go up again.

‘ ..If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwell in you ‘See Rom 8:11 .

You can’t stay down .

Change your focus.

Change your perspective.

You are not a loser or a disgrace.

Christ in you, the hope of glory . Apostle Paul said,

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those …I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ …“ See Philippians 3:13-14

Be goal oriented.

Stay the course.

I release the anointing of God’s Spirit that heralds new Beginnings upon your life and circumstances.

Arise, shine! Your light is come. The glory of the Lord is come upon you . There is a lifting up for you !

There is light at the end of the tunnel.
God in His infinite mercy has come through for you. Your tears are being wiped away.

Those who laughed at you will look at you and their eyes will have respect for God. Affliction will not return. Your whole personality has healed and metamorphosed to the God ideal in Christ Jesus precious name.

You can’t give up now. Your new life is dawning. God is perfecting everything that concerns you.

Friends and family may have written you off as a lost cause. They err in judgement . They know nothing about the outworking of God’s grace.

You are the favored of God, a partaker of the Divine nature and beneficiary of His unnerited, unearned, undeserved grace.

See Ecclesiastes 9:11 which says, ‘The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong… Nor riches to the intelligent….’

Therefore, instead of dwelling over unfavorable circumstances, be conscious of God’s supernatural favors, His unlimited goodness and expanded mercies upon your life.

You are God’s supernatural- extraordinary-creation. You are a Divine Masterpiece.! You are not a lost-cause to God . You are a Work-in-progress and God is a Perfecter!

God who called you out of darkness to reflect His glory cannot abandon you now. You will fulfil destiny and accomplish the purpose of your life in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

There shall be no loss to you because God will restore you to greater glory .
Your travail is but for a season but your restoration will endure through generations.

Those who maligned and despised you will see your restoration and exaltation in Christ mighty name .

Cheer up brethren God’s Word works and is dynamic to cause change. Shalom!

In this season of #prayerfulTransition give time to Bible study and meditation. Keep the goal in focus.
