Remaining In Christ

Today’s #Snippet

Fruit is produced by remaining in Christ: not by striving.

Scripture Anchor:

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself… no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” John 15:4 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

One of the greatest temptations in the Christian life is believing that spiritual growth depends entirely upon our effort.

A branch does not struggle to produce fruit. Its responsibility is to remain connected to the vine.

Life flows from that relationship. The same is true for us.

Prayer is not merely a discipline nor is reading God’s Word merely a routine. Neither is Worship merely a gathering.

These are all expressions of abiding in Christ.

The more closely we remain connected to Him, the more His life naturally flows through ours.

Lasting fruit is never manufactured, it is cultivated through daily fellowship with Jesus.

Ponder This:

Am I striving to produce spiritual fruit, or am I remaining close to the One who produces it within me?

Declaration:

I abide in Christ each day. His life strengthens me, His Word guides me, and His Spirit produces lasting fruit within me.

Prayer of Agreement:

Father, thank You for inviting me into a living relationship with Your Son.

My heart is close to You. And I remain faithful in prayer, in Your Word, and in daily fellowship with You.

The fruit of my life shall always reveal the life of Christ within me. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

GOD PRUNES FOR GROWTH

Today’s #Snippet

Sometimes God removes what is good so that He can produce what is best.

Scripture Anchor:

“Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:2 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

Anyone who tends a garden understands that healthy plants require pruning.

When dead branches are removed, and overgrowth is trimmed, it is not because the gardener is dissatisfied with the plant, but because he sees its potential for greater fruitfulness.

Our Heavenly Father works in much the same way. There are seasons when He lovingly removes habits, attitudes, distractions, or even opportunities that no longer serve His purpose for our lives.

Although at the time, pruning can feel like loss, later, we shall discover that it was preparation.

God never removes something of eternal value. He removes what hinders the abundant life He desires to produce within us.

God the Refiner knows exactly where to cut because He sees the harvest that lies ahead.

Ponder This:

Is there something God has been asking me to release so that I may grow more fully in Him?

Declaration:

I willingly surrender whatever hinders God’s purpose in my life. His pruning is producing greater fruit and greater usefulness.

Prayer of Agreement:

Father, thank You for loving me enough to prune what no longer belongs in my life. I receive grace to release whatever You are removing and faith to trust what You are producing.

My life bears fruit that brings glory to You. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

Learning to Walk in Freedom

Have you ever noticed that being set free and living free are not always the same thing?

Scripture Anchor

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…” Galatians 5:1 KJV

Although many people celebrate the moment of freedom, only few prepare for the responsibility that follows.

From when God delivers us from bondage, He teaches us how to live differently.

Freedom is not permission to return to old habits. It is an invitation to walk in a new way of life.

Every day presents a choice.

Will I think like someone still bound? Or will I live like someone Christ has made free?

Remember:

Freedom is not merely received, it must be maintained.

Warfare Prayer

Father, thank You for the liberty we have through Christ Jesus.

Thank You for breaking every chain and opening a new way before us.

We shall no longer function with the mindset that belongs to our former life.

From henceforth, our thoughts, choices, and conduct reflect the freedom You have given us.

For We will continually stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free.

LEARN TO LISTEN TO GOD

Today’s #Snippet

God’s voice is rarely absent. More often, it is our attention that needs refining.

Scripture Anchor:

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it…”  Isaiah 30:21 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

One of the greatest blessings of walking with God is knowing that He still speaks to His people.

Listening is more than hearing words. It is cultivating a heart that is attentive, responsive, and willing to follow God’s direction.

Life has a way of filling our minds with many voices: our own thoughts, the opinions of others, unexpected pressures, and daily responsibilities.

The Refiner gently teaches us to quiet the noise so that we recognize the voice that matters most.

God’s guidance is not reserved for life’s major decisions. He delights in leading us through our ordinary days as well.

The more we learn to listen, the more confidently we learn to walk with Him.

Ponder This:

What voices have been competing for my attention, and am I making room to hear God’s voice?

Declaration:

My heart is attentive to the voice of God. I walk in His wisdom, follow His direction, and trust His leading each day.

Prayer of Agreement:

Father, thank You for being a God who still speaks. Let  every distraction that competes for my attention remain quiet,

My heart  listens to You, I function with spiritual discernment, and the courage to obey whatever You reveal. I will walk closely with You today and always. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

REMAIN TEACHABLE

Photo: Marigold & Roses #MyOutdoorGarden

One of the clearest signs of spiritual maturity is not how much we know, but how willing we remain to learn.

Scripture Anchor:

“He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.” Proverbs 15:32 KJV

Apostolic Insight:

One of the subtle dangers of walking with God for many years is becoming familiar with truth while slowly losing our teachable spirit.

A refined heart never graduates from God’s classroom.

The longer we walk with Him, the more we realize there is still more to learn.

Sometimes God teaches us through His Word, sometimes through prayer, sometimes through life’s unexpected turns, and sometimes He speaks through the wisdom, encouragement, or correction of others.

A teachable spirit is not a sign of weakness, but evidence of humility.

When our hearts remain open before God, He continues to shape our character, expand our understanding, and prepare us for greater usefulness in His Kingdom.

The greatest believers are not those who know everything: they are those who never stop learning from the Master.

Ponder This:

Has my heart remained as teachable today as it was when I first began walking with Christ?

Declaration:

My heart remains humble, teachable, and responsive to God’s voice.

Each day, He is increasing my wisdom, deepening my understanding, and shaping me into the image of Christ.

Prayer of Agreement:

Father, thank You for continuing to teach me. Keep my heart tender before You and guard me from pride, complacency, and self-reliance.

I will always welcome Your instruction with humility and joy, knowing that Your wisdom leads to life.

Continue refining my character until Christ is clearly seen in me. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

Hephzibah Christly

SUNDAY PRAYER

Freedom:

Freedom is one of God’s greatest gifts, yet many believers never fully walk in it.

Scripture Anchor

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”  Romans 8:2 KJV

Prayer

Father, thank You for the freedom we have in Christ Jesus.

Thank You for breaking the power of sin, condemnation, and spiritual bondage over our lives.

Thank You for every area where You have corrected, strengthened, and brought us into greater understanding.

As we start this new month, we refuse to return to what You have delivered us from.

We reject every mindset, attitude, habit, and pattern that seeks to pull us backward.

We declare that we are no longer governed by fear, condemnation, or by the dictates of the flesh.

We are governed by the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Father, establish us in truth, strengthen us in wisdom, and teach us to walk worthy of the freedom You have provided.

Let every lesson learned this month produce lasting fruit, every correction received produce greater maturity, and every area of growth become evident in our daily lives.

We declare that we are walking forward wiser, stronger, and more discerning than before. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Remember:

Freedom is not merely being delivered from something; it is being established in something better.

Shalom,
Hephzibah Christly

WELCOME TO AUGUST 2026 The month of: Walking Worthy of the Refining

Theme 2026:

SUPERNATURAL DIVINE INTERVENTION

Focus Third Quarter:

Intervention Through Refinement

Scripture Anchor:

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV)

As we enter this new month, we do so with grateful hearts, acknowledging God’s faithful hand throughout our journey.

Last month, we learned to trust the Refiner.

We discovered that refinement is not punishment but preparation; not rejection but relationship; not loss but loving transformation.

Now God invites us one step further.

The evidence of refinement is not merely what God has removed from our lives, but what He is producing within us.

A refined life reflects Christ more clearly. It speaks with greater wisdom, responds with greater grace, walks with deeper humility, and trusts more completely.

As believers, our goal is not simply to endure God’s refining work but to allow it to shape the way we live, serve, forgive, love, and represent Christ each day.

This month, let us walk worthy of what God has been doing within us.

I pray that our words will reveal His wisdom, our attitudes reflect His peace, and our lives bear witness to His transforming grace.

Although the world may never see the fire that refined us; it should see the fruit that remains.

 OUR SPIRITUAL POSTURE FOR AUGUST

This month we will:

• Walk in humility.

• Reflect Christ in our daily lives.

• Practice what God has been teaching us.

• Choose wisdom over reaction.

• Bear fruit that glorifies God.

• Continue trusting His refining work.

DECLARATION FOR AUGUST

God’s refining work is producing lasting fruit in my life.

I walk in wisdom, in humility, in love, and in obedience.

The character of Christ is being formed within me.

My life will continue to reflect the transforming power of God’s grace.

In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

PRAYER OF AGREEMENT

Father, thank You for Your faithful work within me.

I am grateful for the lessons, the corrections, this season of growth, and the evidence of Your grace in my life.

As I walk through this month, let my life reflect the work You have been doing in my heart.

Let my words honor You, and my decisions glorify You.

Let my character bear witness to Christ.

Father, continue refining me until Your image is clearly seen in my life.

In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amein.

Shalom,

Hephzibah Christly

COMING THIS AUGUST…

Introducing #SWATSPrayerWatch

“I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me…”
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV

Dear SWATS Family,

Prayer has always been at the heart of this ministry.

Beginning this August, we are introducing a new weekly feature called #SWATSPrayerWatch a dedicated time for us to stand together before God in prayer.

This is more than another post to read.

It is an invitation to become an active participant in a community of believers who believe that God hears and answers prayer.

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we will gather around God’s Word, pray over specific needs, and stand in agreement with one another.

What to Expect

Tuesdays:

Intercession for our nations, communities, and the issues affecting our world.

Thursdays:

Praying for the Church, families, leaders, and spiritual growth.

Saturdays:

Our interactive Prayer Watch, where you are invited to share your prayer requests, encourage one another, and stand together in faith.

How You Can Participate

🙏 Read the Scripture and prayer focus.

🙏 Pray the corporate prayer aloud.

🙏 Share your prayer request in the comments if you would like others to stand with you.

🙏 Take a moment to pray for someone else’s request.

🙏 Return during the week to encourage those who have shared their burdens.

Together, let us fulfill the command of Scripture:

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2 KJV

Prayer is not our last response. It is our first line of spiritual engagement.

Whether your need is great or small, whether you are rejoicing or grieving, whether you are standing strong or struggling to keep going, you are welcome here.

Let us become a community that not only studies God’s Word but also faithfully stands in the gap for one another.

I look forward to praying with you throughout August.

Grace and peace.
