Day 1: #AnnualPrayer — Rest and Renewal

Scripture Base: Isaiah 30:15 (KJV)

“For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength…”

Happy New Month, dear friend.

Today, I begin my Annual 40 Days of Spiritual Self-Care — December 1 to January 9 — a sacred time set aside every year for rest, renewal, reflection, and realignment.

This is more than a routine.

It is a spiritual reset, a deliberate journey into God’s presence through:

Prayer

Fasting off certain foods, habits, and entertainments

  • Intense Bible study.
  • Journaling and listening.
  • Reviewing the past with thanksgiving.
  • Setting and praying forward the goals for the coming year.

This rhythm creates space for God to restore your strength, refine your focus, and reset your spiritual compass.

Do you know that the spiritual always precedes the physical?

Whatever is settled in the spirit will manifest in your life.

Let us begin.

#PrayerPoints4Today

1. Review & Thanksgiving

Look back over your life with honesty and gratitude.

Thank God for where you are — and for where He is taking you next.

2. Attitude of Gratitude

Pray for a heart that chooses gratitude as this year comes to an end.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see blessings even in hard places.

3. Testimony Reflection

What was your worst experience this year?

Reflect on how God intervened — how He showed up and showed off for you and your family.

(Feel free to share — your testimony may strengthen someone else.)

Final Blessing

I pray:

That this first day ushers you into deep rest, divine renewal, and supernatural clarity.

The Lord restores your confidence and strengthens your spirit for the journey ahead.

Shalom.

Day 2: #AnnualPrayer – Aligning with the Prince of Peace

Scripture Base: Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

“…the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6 KJV

Peace is not merely a feeling – peace is a Person, and  His name is Jesus Christ.

Peace is also a fruit of the Spirit and the defining character of the Christian life.

As we continue in this 40-day-prayer-walk into a new season, we pause to look back with thanksgiving and pray Peace forward over the days ahead.

Let us Pray 🙏🏽

#PrayerPoints4Today

  1. Thanksgiving for Divine Peace

Thank God for His peace that has stood guard over your mind, heart, household, and destiny throughout this year.

  1. Declare stability & Dominion

Affirm that you are wearing  the 👞 shoes of the Gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15) – and by them you will continue to walk over opposition,  challenges and every force that tries to hinder  your progress in life.

  1. Speak peace over Your Body.

Command peace into your physical body.

Declare that every sicknesses, infirmity, and imbalance must bow, for  ‘the chastisement of your peace  was upon Him; and with His stripes you were healed’ (See Isaiah 53:5)

  1. Speak peace over your environment

Declare peace over your home, street, city, county, state, and nation.

Prophesy that the Prince of Peace is moving,  storms are calming, and  adverse weathering shall not prevail  in Jesus’ name.

  1. Intercede for someone in a hard season.

Lift up a friend, or even a stranger going through difficulties.

Invite the Prince of Peace into their situation and declare Divine Intervention.

Tips for Today:

Remain in a  prayer posture throughout the day.

Fast-off certain foods and entertainment to bring your body under discipline and sharpen your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Read your Bible, especially today’s Scripture.

Pray in tongues if you have the gift – if you desire this gift, message me and I will walk you through it.

Remember:

Fasting without prayer is a hunger strike . Have  your prayer requests outlined.

Know what you are aiming for in the spirit. 🙏🏽 ❤️

#MyPrayer4you

I stand with you in agreement today that :

You will experience  peace in every area of your life.

No lives shall be lost in your family as this year draws to a close.

Your home and marriage will be filled with peace and prosperity.

Your character will align with the nature of  God – the God of Peace in Jesus’ mighty and matchless name. Amein.

Day 1 – Annual Prayer: Rest and Renewal

Happy New month dear friend. Today, I embark on my annual 40 days of spiritual-self care time – December 1-January 9.

It’s usually a time for sober reflections, which involves prayer, fasting-off certain things, intense Bible study and journaling.

Which allows me space to review the past thankfully, then prayerfully set and spiritually implement goals for the incoming year.

Do you know that the spiritual precedes the physical?

#PrayerPoints4Today

1. For starters,  review your life, and thank God for where you are at, and where He is taking you.

2. Pray to develop an attitude of gratitude as this year rolls to an end.

3. What was your worst experience this year? Kindly share how God showed up and showed off for you and yours.

Shalom.
