Final session. Text: Mk. 13:7-8: #prayerFocus: Do not be troubled.
Hnmmmmm!! It’s been a very exciting forty days filled with expectations.
I never knew the aspects of my life that needed to be perfected until I receive God’s Word for the day.
The messages and prayers have been very enlightening as they have been edifying.
And today, God is saying to us, “… When ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled…” – Mk. 13:7-8.
It takes growing faith in God not to be troubled in this day and age that is fraught with danger.
Mainstream and Social media is filled with with bad news of plane crashes, kidnappings, terrorism, wars, natural disasters etc.
However, if you are a Christian, God is saying to you do not be troubled. You have to refuse to fear 😱 in the face of fear.
Find a place of safety in the Word of God. Bible says “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly all and wisdom” – Col. 3:16.
Command things to change and they will yield to your authority.
Remember God has promised never to leave or forsake you. When you pass through troubling circumstances, know that God is with you through it all.
Words of fear, discouragement and complaining may come out of the mouth 👄 of unbelievers but not from your mouth.
Know that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” – Rm. 8:28.
God’s love has been poured into the hearts of Believers and you are the called. See, no need to be troubled at all.
Let courage be evident in your words. Build up others. Encourage and strengthen the fearful. Let people see your faith in God.
No matter what, God will preserve and protect you.
Thank you for joining this prayer season. God bless you.
I pray from my heart that you have found direction for your life. Moreover, that you have grown in faith and in intimacy with God.
Please share your testimonies to encourage others. Shalom.
