Session 1. Text: Psalm 139:14 #prayerFocus – Rejoicing.
The joy of the Lord has been our strength these past days. We rejoice in the uniqueness of who we are in Christ.
As we journey through this new season, we should endeavor to follow the path God has laid out for us.
There is no need to try to outdo another person. However you can outdo your past. Be a better person.
Joshua did what God called him to do when, where and how he was called to do it, and he had good success.
In 1Jn. 2:16 the Bible talks about “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life”
The pride of life is like keeping up with others-ungodly ambition.
Yesterday, I needed some stuff done and I was asked if I wanted something similar to xyz’s.
And I was like, yikes! Why should I? Are we competing?
I went further to say I am a unique personality and I have my own special tastes.
Dear friends, rejoice in your uniqueness. Refuse to be a copycat or cheap immitation of anybody.
Reinvent you if necessary. Don’t try to be like your friend or neighbor. You are unique – God raised you for that special purpose.
One of my favorite saying is, I am me and you are you. So be you and let me be me.
When you develop that kind of attitude, you will be kindhearted and understanding towards the people in your life. Their weaknesses or strength won’t make any difference to you.
You will still love and appreciate them for who they are. That is the way to go. Shalom!
Let us pray.:
ABBA Father, thank you for crafting me so wonderfully uniquely.
I rejoice for your grace that has kept me alive to fulfil the purpose of my uniqueness.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places. Health, joy, peace with prosperity are mine:
I walk in dominion and success in every facet of my life, in Christ name. Amein
