Session 1: Text Heb. 13:7-16; #prayerFocus: Thanksgiving-Proof of Faith.

Faith is the response of the human Spirit to the Word of God. Thanksgiving shows your faith through the Words of your mouth, your action and your finances.

Words Heb. 13:15 says to offer the fruits of the lips to God.
1. We do that by telling others about what God has done for us-see Ps. 35:28
2. We declare  his works and mighty deeds to our children and family alway-Ps. 145:4
3. Share your testimonies always, praise him everyday and forever – Ps. 145:1-7.
Action :
Ephesians 2:8 says we are created unto goodworks.

If you are thankful for your salvation, you have a responsibility to talk to others about Jesus Christ and all He did for you. So that others will become born again as you are.

Mary Magdalene showed her gratitude by her dedication and commitment through her service to team Jesus.
She ministered with her time and finances – See Mk. 15:40-41: Jn. 19:25, Matt. 27:61, 28:1

Finances:
Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus Christ with very costly ointment.
You can serve God with your money and time-it is an act of faith in God as your provider and deliverer.

Benefits
*Faith in the Word of God releases cleansing – Jn. 15:3
*Wholeness, completion and perfection – Lk. 17:19.
*Favor and increase – Acts 2:47.
*Deliverance and victory – Ps. 149:6-9.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Thank you ABBA for strengthening and enlightening me through the entrance of your Word in my Spirit. Which has produced strong faith in me. As I meditate in your Word, my victory, success and prosperity is assured, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
