Session1:Text:Lk. 17:11-19: #Thanksgiving bringing wholeness

In line with our season of appreciation, we have discussed how the attitude of gratitude and forgiveness will pave the way for progress.
Today, we shall discuss and pray about Thanksgiving, which is another aspect of gratitude.
Our opening scripture is about 10 lepers who acted out in faith, when they obeyed the Word of Jesus Christ that they should go and present themselves to the priest.
That in itself was risky because it could result in the execution of the death sentence, if they get to the priest with their leprosy still intact.
However, on their way to the priest, they got healed and continued on their way to get clearance from the priest. So they could reenter the community.
There was one of them however, who did something extraordinary.
Because he had an attitude of gratitude, he went back to the Source of his healing to express his thanks, before fulfilling his religious obligation.
As he saw Christ way off, he started shouting out his appreciation. Which resulted in his wholeness manifesting.
The others only got healed-their leprosy stopped. But the only one who was made whole, got healed and all his leprous limbs were restored. No signs of leprosy remained.
That is what happens when you give thanks: the extraordinary occurs-the impossible becomes possible.
Thanksgiving will bring you wholeness, completion and perfection. There will be no signs of your painful past only the new glorious beginning.
Forgiveness must precede Thanksgiving. Fulfill all righteousness and forgive any and everyone.
Then thank God for everything He has done for you, in you and through you.
Share your testimonies. The sharing of Testimony is an aspect of Thanksgiving – it is offering the fruit of the lips to God – See Heb. 13:15.
Testimony is also a weapon of warfare for overcoming the forces of evil – See Rev. 12:11.
Spend sometime in praying in Tongues and prophesying over the year.
Declare what you want to see this year in your life in accordance with the Word of God for the year.
Keep declaring it over every aspect of your life.
In a few days, our fasting and prayers will end at 40 days. God has really been faithful.
God bless you all with swift answers to your prayers, in Christ precious name.
