Shalom People of God, do you know that on the day of your “rebirth”, God transported you from the satanic Kingdom of darkness into God’s Kingdom of light? (Col. 1:12).

Darkness in scriptures signifies ignorance, satan and sin.

In Psalm 82:5, it is written, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness.” (Psalm 82:5).

Darkness in the Scripture above, describes the deep ignorance which clouds over the Human mind, disabling it from seeing, knowing, understanding and from experiencing the power in God’s Word which is Truth.

However, that darkness vanishes when the individual allows God’s Word take precedence over everything else:
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalm 119:130).

Ignorance creates unfavorable circumstances which enables sufferings that destroys Human life (See Hosea 4:6).

Hence, the Christian is to: “⁵ Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. ⁶ Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. ⁷ Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. ⁸ Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. ⁹ She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee “(Proverbs 4:5-9, KJV ).

Ignorance favors satan because it allows him and his forces of evil 😈 to set traps that puts people back into demonic bondage, by the activation of sinful behaviors.

Sin majorly activate demons that were Deactivated when you were transported from satan’s domain.

A Christian who continues in sin is unwise. Sin allows for the degeneration of your world . A Christian who rejects knowledge rejects the benefits that comes when life is lived in accordance with the Truth of God’s Word.

For it is through knowledge that the just shall be delivered (See Proverbs 11:9).

Sin is another word that signifies darkness in scripture.

We are told to – “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians. 5:11).

Most people of African descent, even Christian ministers are ignorant of the fact that, African culture and tradition is deeply rooted in animism and the occult.

That is the reason Christians in that region fall for the subtlety of satan during traditional marriage and burial rites.

Those who Know the God they serve, shall be strong 💪 and do exploits: according to scriptures (Daniel 11:32).

Rather unfortunately, these gullible Christians have no knowledge of God or His ways: else, they would stand strong 💪 in their faith and not yield to pressures from “in-laws” to be and extended families, during traditional marriage ceremonies and burial rites.

Anyways, like the children of Israel, these gullible Christians know only the works of God: – the supernatural manifestations of God’s power.

Hence Bible states, “Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”(Mk 7:13).

“And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?” (Matthew 15:13, NIV).

“Is this any way to show respect to your parents? You ignore God’s commands in order to follow your own teaching.” (Matt. 15:6). Aramaic r g byBible says
